Tradesy

I just received an email from Tradesy that my brand new with tags $495 dress (which I sold for $224) is being returned because there is wear and a broken zipper neither of which were the case when I carefully packaged the dress and spent $34 to ship it. I video document my items and packing for exactly this reason yet Tradesy advised that they do not care. I will now be receiving a used and broken (!?) dress back from Tradesy and am also out the shipping and insurance. I have over 100 high fashion items listed and have had 18 perfect sales on Tradesy, but have to say I am considering removing everything and switching to another site that protects sellers. Im really quite upset that Tradesy allows such fraud.

Ordered Monday. Shipped Tuesday. Arrived Thursday. Unless this could be tied in with Amazon Prime, it doesn't get much better than this as the item came from California, so it traveled two thirds of the US.

First time using your service- great website, easy to use, excited about some new shoes! Thank you! Sadly, they are way too small, so I'm hoping to be able to return them, but the service and shipping were phenomenal, so I will absolutely use this site again!

The product I purchased exceeded all expectations! I am so happy with my purchase. Can't wait to find more gems on Tradesy. 10/10

I loved searching this website and seeing all the different items that are offered for me and my husband. Always a quality product at an excellent price. Who wants to pay full price if you do not have to, not me. I will definitely be placing many more orders with Tradesy.

I've had a great many transactions with Tradsey & found them to always have both the seller & purchaser's best interest in mind. They are an honest, stand behind their word, site friendly, team Tradesy friendly, purchase friendly site. I'm unable to think of enough great things to say. I've never been disappointed or concerned when I've made a purchase because I know I'm protected & I'm sure the sellers feel that way as well. I do not work for & am not related to Tradsey but those who do work there treat you like you're family.

Not only do they take over 23% commission, I had one package returned with nothing inside and they gave the money back to the buyer and I lost over $1500. I t just happen again where someone returned a Tiffany necklace of $1000 and arrived broken and I got screwed from that too. There is no seller protection and buyers can return for any reason. You been warned!

Buyers can use and abuse a product and Tradesy will refund them. (Sounds like ebay a few years back). High selling fees. Watch the mark down/sales program. The will want you to sell an item for less and then you realize that Tradesy makes money & not the seller. Customer Service- all lies. Sellers have no protection. I've had Christian Louboutin shoes returned- showing extra wear. Plus, they will accept a return from a seller 3 weeks after the sell, even though they have a 4 day return policy. Tradesy seems like a scam.

This is the most anti-seller site out there. They encourage returns and although they claim they handle returns they force all returns on to their sellers even past their 4 day return policy. Items come back damaged, with heavy leather scratches on high end items, with missing accessories, original boxes, etc. They know nothing about authenticating luxury items. They have sent 2 items now back saying they could not confirm authenticity, when both items were purchased by me at the store. They hold your money for 21 days and when the money become available to withdraw it takes another 7 days to see your money in your checking account. And they dare to charge 23% now commissions and withdrawal fee. When they reply to your inquiries it's all generic messages without even looking into the issue. Just TERRIBLE!

Tradesy does not protect the seller AT ALL. I could maybe tolerate the fact that it takes 21 long days to get your funds, or the outrageous fees (20%)... but the last two incidents have made me delete my account. Twice now I have sent 2 items that were in perfect, new with tags condition. Both sellers returned my items (probably just because they didn't like it). Tradesy never notified me of the return, and never responded to me when I sent them several photos of the item. It's bull$#*!. NEVER AGAIN.

I'm a size 7 and ordered a 7.5. It's perfect, can't wait to wear them... It was fast and package arrived on time, thank you for making my first time purchase easy, i will definitely be shopping with you all again

Once upon a time Tradesy was a wonderful place to sell, best of the bunch. Now with their new return policy which places the burden of original shipping on the seller no matter what the reason for return I'd say it's fallen to the bottom. I just received notice of another return, no problem with item but unlike the old days where Tradesy would keep it and resell it themselves it's being sent back to me and all the money from the sale (including shipping) was pulled from my account. Why are they charging such a high commission rate when they offer such crappy service?
