One guys named franklin and he help me so much with getting a gift for my friends birthday party so thanks Franklin
Ordered a birthday present at 10:32am. Paid for next day delivery as ordered before 6pm which is their cut off for next day delivery. Paid by PayPal and it went through fine, but Toys R Us didn't collect from PayPal until 19.35hrs that evening. Result? Present due to arrive too late for the party. Shop elsewhere, this is simply disgraceful.
Toys r us has a great assortment but I have seen similiar products significantly cheaper at other stores.
Prices are higher than amazon or other online stores. But it has everything I need for my kids. Toys, newborn needs, nursery decorations.
Our Toys R Us went out of business but my opinion of the store is they do have a good selection but tend to be expensive with a lot of their products.
Wide selection of toys, but price is very steep. Makes it very expensive to make any purchases. Hope they can provide some discounts and sales.
No doubt they have a ton of different toys for all ages. The problem I have is the prices they sell stuff at is far more than almost every competitor in my area. So I used to take my kids here a lot but not recently with the price increases over the years.
It is good place for kids but it is good place for grown up like me. However, often, the store gets too crowded. You will get jammed like peas in a pod.
Dont think ive ever bought anything there but a great place to walk around and have fun :)
Great store to buy kids blocks. Especially if your on a budget
This isnt the 80's why you still over priced for the same brans walmart sells at a 3 time lower cost?
They said layaway one year 2014, I called to ask my local store if they had the layaway after confirming I went and shopped brought stuff to put on layaway woman gets on the intercom loudly says "do we do layaway here" manager comes over (Springfield Il. Store) says we aren't doing lay away here I was embarrassed they acted like I was some burden or poor idiot who couldn't afford stuff, she got loud to us, I said do you take cash sarcastically, and when I tried to check out with cash she was like I told you we aren't doing lay away again trying to embarrass us. I said again I have cash is that OK, I should have put everything down and walked but had spent like 2 hours picking stuff out, they are the ones who put the ad on TV not me and I CALLED BEFORE I WENT THERE to make sure our local store was participating,... geez
I haven't been to TRS in years, but I get a chance to recently. I'm glad I don't need to, since it hasn't changed much to my dismay.
Bought an RC car for my son. When we got it home it didn't work. The wait at the return counter was kind of long but they did let us exchange the car.
I have ordered from them 3 times and each time I get a phone call telling me that they have mixed up something or other.
But in the end they some how get it all straight.
Their toys are so expensive in comparison to buying them at Walmart or on Amazon. They do have a wide selection though and you can get some things there that are not available in other places. I just wish they didn't hike the prices so high.
Visiting Toys"R" Us is always a pleasure but not all visits turn into shopping as at times you find the products overpriced and clearly recall similar item available with competition brand at much lesser price ( same quality).
I bought several items from here about 2-3 months ago. But some of what I got was incorrect and I was missing other items. So I contacted them. They refunded me for items that were out of stock and reshipped the incorrect items. However, I got the same thing the second time. But normally, they are great to do business with.
Great selection of toys and things, but nothing great to really stimulate kids. Like do it yourself crafts or science kits. Good place for plastic type bikes, butterfly nets, plastic musical instruments.
When I was younger, they had so much more to explore, but now there's just not much great stuff left. The toys of today don't beat what we had when I was a child and they carry less of everything they used to. They need new creative things to carry to reach children and their parents.
I find looking for my sons presents really hard, do i use online or wander the super market toy stores? You pay a little extra, but nothing beats holding the toys to see how well (or poorly) there made.
