I just got scammed! This is not a trustworthy website to buy products. I purchased a hydra facial system from Indonesia. The company name is PT INTER DENT MEDICA and their website is http://www.beautylaser.co. We have communicate via email back and forth and once I wired them the money for the products. They have stopped emailing me and replying to my emails.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TopTenWholesaler webist.
the reviews for Avis rent a car is not thuth, that company must paid topten reviews website !.Beware Avis rent a car, they will sale their car insurance coverage even you said "no"to them, unfortunately after waiting more than 30mins we lost patient without double check we signed the paper. now it appears on my credit card. we called this merchant several times, they refund $30 instead of we agreed half wich is $224.5. they set up customer in this way, so they can make extra money!.
If you are looking for a side by side matrix forget about it, they don't do that anymore, this site is a massive ad space seller with no real scientific look at products, it's a giant bill board and not a darn thing else. This is no where near a top ten review site. Save your time because by the time you read the crap they copied you could do that yourself. This is a garbage site.
I was interested in seeing what my options were for an ISP, so I thought "The Best Internet Service Providers of 2018" on TopTenReviews would be helpful. However, even tho the article claims "LATEST UPDATE JANUARY 28, 2018", I discovered that several of the ISP's no longer exist and the info they provided on my current ISP (Cox) is out of date by at least 5 to 10 years. (Fastest d/l speed available is 50 MBPS at $59.95 / mo. ?) I wrote to "TopTen" asking about their interpretation of "update", but of course I got no reply. Based on this experience, I could not trust ANY review on that site.
Their Facebook page allows no public posts and although they promise a quick response to messages, mine was totally ignored. They also have a Google + page, where public posts are allowed, but the site is totally unmonitored, so it's become inundated with spammers spamming spammers.
TopTenReviews obviously uses Amazon's statistical data to create their lists. At least 1 of the associated links for each product will take you to Amazon where you can quickly and easily add the product to your cart. Expect alot of marketing agendas to be integrated in there as well. This does not give a real world experience for the avid shopper looking to find the best offering in a given product category. For this, we need an actual product review.
I have also spent alot of time reading online reviews and TopTenReviews are some of the worst examples I've seen. A good thorough review should be done by someone who is able to use a product to it's potential and takes time to reads a product's documentation. I say this because I just read a review on TopTenReviews that was very poorly done. It was for a portable steamer/vacuum. They obviously did not even know how to use the unit correctly let alone using it to it's potential. And using a machine in ways not consistent with the unit's intended purposes could be a hazard.
Bottom line is, you have to know how to use something before you can justify being qualified to review it. And I find TopTenReviews to be so inadequate and lack the knowledge to give any advice whatsoever. Depending on the product, improper use of a product could cause serious harm to someone. That said, TopTenReviews should consider having their reviews audited by a 3rd party to ensurer they are not putting someone in harm's way. And that goes for many other review sites that try to promote themselves as a professional resource like TopTenReviews
If anyone wants to know about the shaky review done on TopTenReviews, here are the details:
Category: Portable Steamer
The review scrutinized the unit for reasons such as, but not limited to:
1- a narrow mouth limiting suction
2- too heavy
3- problem vacuuming whole pieces of cereal
4- only able to pick up a few ounces of metal screws
The test bed appeared to be a vehicle and the reviewer simulates bringing the Vapamore MR-50 as a travel companion being to clean up messes like pet hair pieces of food on the floor. Steamers are an excellent method for cleaning surfaces like counter tops, wood, tile, upholstery, carpets and more. But one of the main things I notice about the portable steamers available today is that we have to use a towel or rag to wipe up the moisture and left over dirty water from the steam. Vapamore invented the MR-50 as a dual function device. It steams and Vacuums. Any knowledgeable person should have understood what this means
But the reviewer at to-tenreviews was trying to use the MR-50 as a standalone portable vacuum, which is absolutely NOT how it was intended to be used. It's the moisture and dirty water that remains after using the steam feature that this vacuum function was designed for. Sure, it can do some some debris but the reason for it's small narrow mouth is because the MR-50 was designed to be much like the larger full size steamer/vacs that some of us have used/rented to do our carpets. You are supposed to thoroughly vacuum your carpets before you steam them. If you want to steam your carpets you must clean up any and all debris that is loose, big or small. Commercial steamers apply the steam and vacuum the dirty water and moisture afterwards. They have a vacuum function too. But, you don't use them as the stand alone vacuum that cleans the carpet before you steam clean it. Proper use of this type of equipment dictates that we thoroughly vacuum our carpets with a standalone vacuum and THEN you use the steam cleaner. Of course it can also vacuum. But it's limited capacity to vacuum smaller pieces of debris is not a limitation, it is because that function is designed to be used in conjunction with the steam clean function.
This is a review about TopTenReviews, but I would like to make my case by first bringing up another product: Jawbone. You understand why very soon!
Consider these reviews from different sources on Jawbone accumulated from various resources:
The gist of all these reviewers on Amazon and Trustpilot and independent reviews like the Verge is that Jawbone seems to have gone completely incommunicado. Their products are breaking and they've stopped responding to disappointed customers. (Go ahead and look up Jawbone on SiteJabber as well). What I just described has been exactly my experience. The band on my Jawbone snapped and repeated emails to Jawbone customer support have all gone unanswered. Other customers have been leaving angry messages on their Facebook wall. Rumors are that the company is struggling and looking to pivot completely or sell off their assets.
Meanwhile take a look at this 2017 review written by TopTenReviews (it appears first on Google search if you type in Jawbone review 2017). They say that customer service has "timely responses and helpful answers from representatives." They also give Jawbone an 8.5/10 and speak very highly of this tracker that's gotten so many customers upset. I don't know what world the staff at TopTenReview live in, but they clearly are intentionally misleading their readers or they do absolutely no research into the products they endorse. I don't know how they are able to rank number one in a Google search let alone still exist to mislead more unlucky consumers who happen to land on their website and think their reviews are honest.
Their top 10 list of the best noise cancelling headphones accompanied with their fake numbers were laughable....They ranked BOSE #3 in noise cancelling.....EVERY EXPERT other than this site will say without prejudice BOSE is #1 in noise cancelling. Hell they ranked the Parrot Zik 3 #10 with terrible noise cancelling #s which is ABSURD. Obviously certain companies PAY this SCAM site to promote their products. They LOOK legitimate and put all kinds of charts and graphs up to fool unsuspecting people....But underneath that they never SAY who is doing these tests , under what real SCIENTIFIC conditions and even if they were conducted correct at all.....Don't trust this site.....TOPTENREVIEWS = SCAM CENTRAL...It's a marketing site to promote products who PAY them, PERIOD!
A load of crap!
"They can cause problems such as data loss, greater degrees of fragmentation and even wreck Windows system files."
Utter bull$#*!! It is close to impossible to corrupt the file system or files as all free and commercial defrag software that I am aware of use the Windows defrag API. The Windows included defragger, freeware, commercial defraggers all do. They are all equally safe or unsafe.
Top Ten Reviews is a jack of all trades. They lack specialized knowledge to review specific software.
"Another problem with freeware defragmenter programs is their lack of support for many current technologies. Solid state drives are one example."
More BS. A SSD should never be defragged. Defragmentation software writers, specially the commercial ones just came up with 'SSD aware defrag' to prevent they became obsolete. It is just snake oil. Your SSD does not need defrag.
Tip for consumers: Avoid this sponsored crap site
The software they call the best did not help me recover any of my files. Useless.
Schill site paid to promote good reviews. I think they also hire people to review them as legit. Notice that the 3 5 stars in these reviews are a person with 1 review and 2 people who say they go to TopTenReviews for everything. Those both have rated a psychic website as 5 stars two. I bet paid fake reviewers.
Rudeness, product makes me breakout and causes a rash. I ordered on 12-09-2015, on 12-15-2015 I called to cancel products and Sarah told me I couldnt cancel so soon. I told her it did nothing but cause a rash and breakout. I told her I would not continue to use either product. She said she was still going to give me an extention to 1-08-2016. when I noticed a 99.01 charge on my credit card, I called again on12-29-2015, spoke with Erik, he canceled my order but said nothing about a 99.01 fee. on 12-28 they charged my acount. on 1-2-2016 I called again and got the rudest person ever, his name was Evan. Then I spoke with Erik again. They all seem to be supervisors and tell me good luck getting a refund, I said I will ship it back and you can see very little used and they tell me they will not accept it. I will now go to the bank, then the Post master and then the attorney general and my Lawyer. I have already made an appointment with my dermotologist for verification of the condition of my face and eyes. I didnt order online but took the number from The Doctors show which I will also be informing of this telemarketing sceam! There are also terms and conditions to even make a complaint or these people!
I was looking at the questions for a Bluray burner on Amazon and many people suggested going to TopTenReviews. I never heard of the site but I decided to check it out. I'm an audio and video professional, and am a frequent contributor to an international audio publication specializing in recording for musicians. Their choices, and even their product comparisons, are absurd. In the audio recording category, they include both Sony SoundForge Pro 10, and Steinberg WaveLab (both real pro-audio choices) in the review. I personally reviewed SoundForge 10 a couple years ago for the magazine and use both SoundForge 11 and WaveLab 8 in my studio. Their misrepresentations of the features of both products are enormous. I found similar representations, and many more omissions in their reviews of Video software. I would not trust the site for any information. Their one goal seems to be to sell affiliates' products.
Tip for consumers: Don't believe anything they say!
I go to this site before I buy anything! Their reviews are pretty accurate when it comes to products and services.
Toptenreviews.com is a scam site. They say that they review the top ten apps in the market, but the fact is that they put in 9 bad pieces of software and then one that is good.. which they make affiliate money from. It is not possible for other vendors to get on the list, so be aware of this affiliate scam site. They ratings are not trustworthy.
Tip for consumers: Don't use it.
When I read the review of Time Warner Cable I realized this site could not possibly be reliable. It would appear to me that TWC sponsored it but that is conjecture. The TWC review said PROS: Speed and infrastructure CONS: TWC may not be available in your area. So the downside to this product is that it may not be available in your area? It makes no mention of the widely-criticized customer service, the rates, or network issues. Something seems a little fishy about this review. I would not trust any review on this site.
I hate to waste time dignifying this website with a review as I know full well it will take longer than spent on this "review" site by the victom of my scorn. In fact, this websites mere existence servers soley to inflate my ego in that unlike its authors, I have used the website I am reviewing.
Perhaps this is too rounabout, so I leave you with this. Do yourself a favor and find alternative reveiws. If for nothing else than to verify the bollox featured on this site.
You will be cheated if you buy MTS device. At the time of delivery their executive will present you lucrative offer , once you buy they will not listen . Even their customer care did not respond you properly as always give you fake solution like we are working in your area and services will be back in 2-3 weeks. Their 2-3 weeks will never come.
So I request you all guys keep away with this company .
I go to this site for just about everything. I love it and wouldn't purchase anything online without checking it first.
I came across toptenreviews.com when I was doing research to choose a platform for a new e-commerce site for my company. I took toptedreviews.com's advice and signed up for their #1 rated company. It was a total disaster. Then I started doing more research online about the company I was trying to use to build my site, and it had lousy reviews. Only then did I notice that toptenreviews.com doesn't let users rate the products. Their reviews seem so technical, but I believe that they're getting financial kickbacks from the companies that they rank highly. I'll never trust their reviews again.
These guys don't actually test the products.
They also aren't qualified experts for the products they review.
Scam and click bait articles.
Well, I have to agree with the others. I read a recently published review of Top 10 Radar Detectors for 2015. I've been testing detectors since 2008, and the review list was laughable. It was obvious to me the reviewer had no clue as to what he was reviewing, or how they work and perform.
A product I needed was topmost on this rating scale. My anti-virus checkers refused to let the #1 rated product (by them) download. It was completely unsafe.
It seems as though most others find their ratings as useless as I did.
Tip for consumers: Ratings by Top Ten Reviews are useless despite their advertising.
I found them when I tried finding an internet marketing company. The #1 listed name was not found in the BBB and their #2 best account had a D- Rating from the BBB. So much for trusting this site.
They are completely fake, they get paid to uprate items, and are owned by the same guy who owns herman street.com, so he puts the items he sells on his site on the top 3 of the ratings for some of the items, then when you try to buy the product from his site, they $#*! you around and try to take your money without giving you a valid product key.
