I recently used TopCashback's Gift Card service to purchase a gift card off their website. The system is very efficacious. You can use their filters to get the particular category you're interested in - very easy. I got a nice cashback award added to my account.

Ur transactions conveniently dont track especially when of any value, customer service is difficult to contact and gets u no where, when i told them i was closing my account they stole my money from both mine and my roommates account. Attached photo is my confirmation on my payout on Sept. 22 today Oct 8 still waiting for payout but no access because topcash already closed my account. Stole $60 from me and $25 from roommates account. Something a poor person wud do! The whole experience in one word wud be POOR. I was a customer for 5 years so glad to put behind me; not at all worth ur time and efforts!
I have waited for 5 months to get an Orbitz rebate. When I contacted their customer service, I get a reply saying that the travel industry had a tough year and I'll have to continue to wait. Well, I had a tough year too but I don't promise what I can't deliver.

Made purchase on Nov 2022. Now in Jan 2023 cashback is still in pending status.
Reach out to TopCashback, no resolution and just ask me to be patient without given any estimation on cashback availability date!
Send 2nd inquiry 2 months after purchase, same answer "Be patient". And say they can not process my request because it will be "Unfair" for other customer in the same situation as me!?
WTF, no only TopCashback are not actively supporting its customer and get resolution, but apparently there are many other in the similar situation?
Avoid this site at all cost. Ebate are far more reliable and prompt to get your missing cashback processed.

I made a very substantial purchase using topcashback as a clickthrough. It amazing, how they dont show this as payble or pending to me. I called the merchant and they confirmed they can see the clickthrough from Topcashback to them. But despite that information I am out several hundred dollars in cashback. Repeated emails to topcashback states it could take up to 12 weeks. Well for me...its been 12 weeks and nothing.
Want good and reliable cashback go to Rakuten or befrugal. Topcashback doesnt know what customer service is and you cannot even speak to a real person

They still owe me over $100 in cash back from using their site. It wasn't a problem before, but lately its every other purchase. Ebates my be lower, but at least they stick to their promise of cashback.
OH and P.S. - When you ask them about the missing CashBack they will do the loop-de-loop and tell you we only give you the cash we get. Then divert the nonsense to saying "well other sites will keep a portion of the cashback, we don't" I call complete B.S. on that. Show us some transparency then TopCash. Please Prove me wrong, because I have told you to fix these missing amounts multiple times. If you even ask the vendors, I have no idea. Or you guys just need the extra cash. Either Or, I needed to learn my lesson and go back to Ebates, They may pay a little less, but at least they don't miss payments like you guys.

This is 100% cashback model is fully transparent, so I'm unsure what further transparency you are meaning. We do everything we can to challenge a retailer in the event of declined or untracked cashback, so we will dispute retailers' decisions anywhere we can, although ultimately it is the retailer who validates the transaction and decide whether cashback is eligible. I tried out the giftcard option to place an order from Target which usually doesn't offer cashback. I purchased a $50 giftcard which gave me 3%cashback. I will keep doing this when purchasing from Target or other stores that don't offer cashback.
I took advantage of an HBO offer this past summer. As I understand the issue from multiple sources it appears that HBO made a mistake when they transmitted an offer to the cash back sites, and have refused to honor their offer to the sites. I've heard that many other sites are, in turn, refusing to honor their offer to the customer. It took a long time for me, but TCB has honored their commitment. I don't think it gets any better than this.
Many people may have been angered by the HBO Max debacle with TCB. I appreciate that even though it took several months while TCB sorted the mess out, they were in communication with those of us affected. I appreciate that even when HBO decided not to pay out or when something got messed up, that TCB stood by what happened and did right by their customers even when it cost them their own money. Customer service, honesty, and accountability this great is a rarity these days. I would definitely recommend TCB and plan to keep using them myself.
Recently, HBO backed out on a promise to pay the promotional rate as promised in the subscription promotion, and TopCash was top notch honoring the terms of the deal. Excellent customer service for TopCashBack! Two thumbs up!
Dominique replied to a comment I left in the TopCash Back Facebook group about missing cashback and immediately contacted me to help me make things right! I have a lot going on at home right now and didn't have time to put in a help ticket so it was done for me and I got my missing cashback the very next day! Super friendly and helpful, exactly how someone in customer service should be!
Don't waste your time. They won't pay out the cash back... especially if its high. They will give you ever excuse in the book and even if you follow everything to a "T" they will end it with the vendor didn't approve the purchase. Well i called the vendor and they said they have no clue who top cash back is and that they don't approve of any non sense like that. They do know who ebates/rakuten is and they were fine with them. List of excuses by toipcashback to not approve cash back:

Topcashback is my favorite cashback application. It beat all the other existing cashback site. I've been using it for 4-5 years and received my money back on several occasions. It is easy to use and have lots of my favorite marchant.
They simply make an excuse to not honor their offer. I bought a 2-year SurfShark subscription during Black Friday when they announced 105% cashback. I did not receive anything after two weeks so I contacted them and they promised me to contact the SurfShark. 3 weeks later they informed me that the SurfShark won't give anything because of an unknown reason! What do I think? TopCashBack lied to me but keep me waiting until I passed the SurfShark 30-day money back period, so I can't cancel my subscription anymore and they can keep the money.

I don't shop online a lot and usually when I do I forget to go through the app... But I do like this website and I like the ways you can earn and I have to admit that the winter treats cash back giveaway game has really reeled me in.
They take so long to validate anything that you won't be able to refund = SCAM.
You can send nudges, full credit card date/confirmation number/invoice # and it will still take them WEEKS to answer with generic replies. Eventually, they will claim the vendor denied the cashback. Ebates is lower but at least they respond right away and you can see it verified in your account almost instantly. 60% cashback for NordVPN = SCAM

It can take slightly longer to be paid because we wait for payment from the retailer first but this doesn't make us a scam. It sounds like you have been chasing up a cashback amount on a missing cashback claim and these can take around 2-3 months to be resolved, as mentioned when submitting the claim. If the retailer does decline the cashback amount then this is their decision to make as they are the ones paying any cashback amounts which you are eligible for.
If you send in a message to our customer care team on your claim or through an enquiry, we'd be happy to explain to you the processes that your cashback and claims are following. Just because we rely on the payment from the retailer and waiting for this to happen, it doesn't mean we're a scam. We see plenty of cashback paid out each day to our members, helping them to save on every day purchases.

As I write this review I have 14 cashbacks that are still pending or confirmed. Four of them are from July, which is now 4 months after they were recorded, and one of them is actually a TCB promotion of $5. From here, I have 5 in September, and 5 from October. I have contacted customer service more than once and they always reply back with a generic response that it takes 3-4 weeks. They don't even bother to read the reason for me contacting them, and that my cashbacks are still pending for 4 months now!
Their high cashback percentages are not worth it. Use the other 3 popular sites as they are more on top of their game!

Cashback is not an immediate thing and will only become payable to you once the retailer has paid us. For each retailer we advise of an 'estimated payout speed' which you can see if you click on the transaction on your earnings page. I've been with Topcashback for several years now and it has been really rewarding. They usually have the best cashback offers plus they make it fun and exciting with regular giveaways. And they always have regular bonus offers so I always think of Topcashback first before I do any online shopping!

These other affiliates can include rival cashback portals, comparison sites or even a simple click on a Google ad. This has resulted in the tracking cookie not linking back to TopCashback. We are not denying that you clicked-through to make the purchase from your TopCashback account, but certain aspects can have a negative effect on your transaction tracking and TopCashback not being recognized as the 'last referrer' of the sale. Reasons for a retailer making this decision can include: -If your computer cookies were not cleared before making a transaction -Another website, cashback portal, pop-up advertisement, search engine or comparison site may have linked to your transaction -Coupon codes which are not advertised by TopCashback. -Using ad-blockers on your browser These are only suggestions, however, as the retailer does not advise us which of these is applicable in your particular case.
