Tuckernuck

I was sent the wrong item. It wasn't even close! I then had to call. No answer. Printed the return slip. Had to repackage the damn item which wasn't easy because it came in a plastic bag that you had to rip to get the item out. Then to the Post Office. Then wait for the correct item which I am not taht crazy about either.

This was my first time shopping at Tuckernuck and I was very excited about my purchase of the Black Velvet Mottershead Dress (Item #S*******). Upon arrive my initial thought was the dress didn't seem that high of quality to match the price point but I thought the dress would work well for an event I had coming up so I kept it. After wearing it at an event for several hours I discovered it turned my skin blue. It was a nightmare trying to get the blue dye off my skin. After showering for 30 minutes and scrubbing my skin with soap it wasn't all coming off. I then tried using makeup remover and that helped get some blue off but not all. I still have blue dye on my skin even now. When I first discovered what happened after wearing the dress it looked like I had been laying on the beach all day without sunscreen but instead of getting a red sunburn I was blue. I would like a full refund. Do not buy this dress, it will ruin your skin.

After reading the reviews that the dress tends to run large, I ordered a M (a size I havent worn in decades). And it fit perfectly. Flattering for this short apple shape.

And looks like I'm not allowed to return it. So this felt like just an overall fail. Last - just came in a bag...like a nearly $300 dress is some flimsy bag. Meh.

I want to love the blouse so much. It is gorgeous. The big now on the back is perfect. Ordered the xxxl. The fit is perfect everywhere except one sleeve is sooo tight it feels like it could cut off my circulation. The other sleeve is fine. I should send it back, but I love it and there currently aren't any more available in my size. May take it to my alterations lady and see if there is anything she can do to correct it.

Reviews are helpful with sizing as I am not always the same size in different brands you carry. Some of the listings don't include pics of models wearing the item which would be even more helpful.

I liked (really liked) 2 dresses and a shirt and easily returned what didn't fit. It made me want to order again which I'm doing for the shirt in different colors.

Ordering, receiving and returning the dresses was easy. Unfortunately the style, while I love the look, is just too overwhelming for my frame.
