Tire Rack

I ordered a set of rims that were listed as low pressure cast, turned out they weren't. I called in and they were totally responsible for the mistake, corrected the website, and were totally willing to cancel the order and get me something else or figure out an alternative solution. I ended up just keeping them and so far so good, they look good, and were relatively inexpensive.

Never have an issue with the website or support. I have non standard tires for my car and someone contacted me to ensure I was ordering the correct tire. You don't see many companies that car about the customer before making a sale, but this company definitely does.

Had to pickup a set of tires as an emergency and the team worked with me for same day pickup. Just ordered another set and having them shipped and called in with a couple questions and the team was great once again getting me my tires. Thanks a lot Seth.

I've ordered tires from here for years, it's been my go to site. The comparison feature and the hundreds of reviews makes shopping easy. We keep vehicles for 4-8 years and ordering new tires for new vehicles or replacing old tires is basically seamless. We live in rural New England so 2 sets of tires are required (winter & summer); this makes the reviews even more important.

It is one account and I should be able to look up my past order history without having all the order number or other data. Most families have more than one car and cumbersome to look up past tire sizes when it should all be easily shown from past orders.

My preferred tire installer is California Tire, a small independent shop that also can do an oil change for me while there. I didn't see a way to select them, so was forced to select America's Tire instead. This will mean making 2 trips to get work done. I didn't see a way to select a "not listed" dealer or a way to go back to choose "Ship to my address" instead.

Tire rack is great because I like to research and compare tires without someone hovering over me. Tire Rack offers almost every tire in the market too. Information on the site is extensive. The delivery is extremely fast.

I got the tires I wanted and had them installed at Discount Tire.
I don't agree with the way one wheel was balanced.
Weights put on the outside rim edge and tape weights installed 180° on the inside.? It doesn't vibrate but strange. I have balanced wheels many years as a mechanic and never saw this.

There was a great selection of wheels and tires to pick from. Found the perfect setup for my car. The tracking and updates as my order moved through destinations was good to see, which allowed me to move my installation day and I was able to actually get my new wheels and tires on my car 2 days early. The folks at my local tire shop (Discount Tire) where Tire Rack shipped my setup based on my location, took care of everything when I arrived. They were super helpful and had my car up in the lift within 5 minutes of me being there. I would also recommend getting the wheels balanced and TPMS install when you buy on their website. They did that before even shipped. It just made installation process even faster. I was in/out in about 30 minutes.

I am so grateful that a friend recommended me to tire rack. I've already told all of my friends and family about it, I will definitely use them now as my preferred tire distributor. The one thing that I really loved about tire rack is that not only do they sell the product, but they also have authorize installers that are fast reputable, friendly, and they get the job done at a discounted price.

Had a road Hazard claim, super easy to go through on Portal, but even better, to go to my original order and Order replacement tires with the click of a button. This, along with sending them to the service center that installed the previous tires.

I enjoy shopping for tires...weird. But I want to select the tire that I want and not settle for what a local dealer has in stock. They can order also, but that is two physical trips to get tires. I order what I want and then go have them put on. Love it.

Honestly, I don't think there is a better way to purchase tires. I did my research online with Google AI and other methods to find the best tires for my vehicle. I compared that to Tire Rack recommendations and it was spot on except for one brand that had really excellent reviews but was not a US-made tire. This made me understand that AI may not be the best option always to find the information one is looking for, especially for a product that requires real consumer data from national and international sources. I settled on that brand because it had excellent reviews. Additionally, the prices on Tire Rack with road hazard included just cannot be beat. I called many dealerships and tire centers to find that their tire prices were at least $40-$60 more per tire for my vehicle.

The ability to see your comparison video of tires and have a selection to choose from was very important. Unfortunately, the tires in the video I desired were not available for my vehicle. However, the available choices were top tier.
