This online vendor takes your order, creates an order number, and charges your bank card.
For several months of receiving no update the order shows on their portal as 'Processing'. No response was received from multiple emails to their site.
After several months the order was set as 'shipped'. No shipping details were provided.
Shipping details have been requested several times by email, and now a refund has been requested several times by email. We also called their UK helpline, but this just goes to voicemail.
I do not know if this company is still trading, or just scamming.
Just taken receipt of a superb PVC 6 x 4 mat. Price excellent, quality great and customer service fab. Will be ordering from these guys again as I want different sizes and a few custom jobs at some point. Thanks guys
I bought a TW mat several years back. It arrived in the mail to Canada time. Like the product a lot but unfortunately the mat lacked the hex pattern that I had ordered. What was sent was still useful so I ordered another mat. Then there were delays, then the package seemed to be sent but never arrived in Canada and actually returned to England. More excuses from Richard. I finally cancelled the order and did a dispute through Paypal. I can't decide if Richard is a crook or simply incompetent but it amounts to the same thing. Seems to be a recurring problem. I gave TW two stars instead of one because the product is very good.
I ordered 3 D&D style maps from this website after they look like an honest trader.
Two of the maps arrived correct, they are ok and average quality but are good value for the price. (frayed edges on the maps etc).
The 3rd map however did not include a grid reference as I specifically requested via website. I sent them an email advising of the mistake and had a quick response saying that they would issue a correct map the following Monday. (The email response was super unprofessional also)
After two weeks passed, I gave up hope and re-emailed them, only to be ghosted two times.
Terrible customer service.

Would give it 0 stars if this was an option. I personally would never contemplate ever ordering from this company. Such a poor experience. They are quick at responding to negative comments than they are at resolving any concerns over delayed/cancelled orders. Citing Paypal was the issue is just lame. Perhaps there was (or did paypal have a problem with the company) but I asked myself if i was the owner of a company and could not fulfill orders i should make contact with each individual customer advise of the delay, give them options as to what can or cant be done, perhaps apologise? The truth i found was just to be told after a number of weeks of non delivery you need to raise dispute via paypal. Again the payment was not done through PayPal. Got blocked via their i social media for amicably asking about the order. Any customer I think should consider why there is no option to leave public reviews on their site or social media while other companies do?

Today, after 5 months with no news about my order, I have sent to TinyWargames a request for a refund of the 204 British Pounds they have readily charged to my bank account on August 4th, 2023.
I hope to get back my money, at least… time will tell.

Ordered 2 mats from them. Took a while to arrive, but understandable with a postage strike in UK. One of the mats was the wrong one. Informed them right away, and was told the right one would be shipped out. Was promised shipping tracking, never received it. Been almost a year since I ordered and still have not received the right mat.
Hello,. We are always available for help, email,telephone, DM, twitter, this was an etsy order and they shut our store down for 90 days so we couldnt reply, email us and we can rectify it!
Ordered some game mats, they arrived after 16 days even though I had tried to cancel them. When i returned them at my expense they even had the cheek to charge me the initial £10 postage costs. Now there is a law called consumer contracts law, that states if I return an item unused within 14 days of delivery I am entitled to a full refund including any postage charges originally paid to have the items sent to me. When I questioned this they ignored me. Also not to mention that the refund took nearly 30 days to do. Again this is against the law aswell. I have spoken to trading standards and my bank to get my card reversed for the extra £10. Trading standards said we are not the first to make complaints about this company. My advice steer clear.
The customer was charged a fee for handling as stated in our terms for returns, trading standards comment is nonsense as we have never had an issue with trading standards. Was happy to refund and send mats, but this customer was impossible to please.
I've just got a two-sided mousepad gaming mat from these chaps; the thing is pleasant to touch and a beauty to play on. Delivery was pretty swift, considering that it was a custom order, and service was unfailingly decent and friendly. Thanks for upgrading my wargames, people.
They take your money and then string you along with "I'll chase up the courier", when it hasn't even been printed, let alone been handed to a courier a week ago. Lots of delays and not credible excuses, without any apology for breaking their promises. Sometimes you have to message them 2 or 3 times over a week to get a response. Now that it's a week and a half late (it was supposed to only take a week and a half), they tell me it will arrive a week and a half from now. I don't believe anything they say any more, so I cancelled the order. They agreed to a full refund.
We designed a custom mat for this customer but he expected a rubber custom mat to be delivered in a couple of days, we clearly state on our terms the delivery times of custom work but he did not accept a wait. So we refunded. You can’t please everyone!
Update - Since this was posted and my email was miraculously found again I have had nothing from tiny wargames. Gave them two weeks to ship the replacement mat and have been ignored when asking for updates. 2 months of nothing but wasted money and empty promises.
Absolute shambles of a company to deal with, would advise going to a competitor like DeepCut or TTCombat.

Ordered an item in July and shipped to me August. Wrong item was delivered and of poor quality with printing errors. Contact company who said they would sort it.
Two weeks with no mat replacement and I contacted them to chase. First email was answered, then two week of emails being ignored.
Will not be doing business again and advising others or the same.

Having played wargames for ~25 years, I'm very impressed with the quality of the fabric gaming mats. So much so, that I've sold my fleece and neoprene mats - to try and make a complete move to these fabric products instead.

I asked about ordering a custom mat on 19 August 2022. I received a rapid response from Richard instructing me how to place the order, which I did that day. I received a confirmation shortly afterwards--and my credit card was promptly charged at that point (no problem with that!). Shorly after, I received an image of the custom mat (a very nice step) and the order status changed to "Processing." So far, so good. Things began very well.
Not seeing the status change after that, I sent an email requesting an update on 12 Sep, which went unanswered. I understand that I had ordered a custom mat and that it would take more time. All I wanted to know was an estimate of when the order would be fulfilled.
After not hearing back, I gave it a bit more time and sent another email a week later, on 18 Sep, which also went unanswered. I again gave it more time and sent a third email on 27 Sep, which has also gone unanswered.
It is now 10 October. The status of my order has not changed (it still shows as "processing"), and I have heard nothing in response to my inquiries.
I could accept that one email may have gotten lost in the shuffle, but not three. At this point, I'm not going to bother sending them any more emails. Instead, I'm producing this review. Even if the mat were to arrive tomorrow, I would not do business with them again.

I really hate to do this kind of trashing of someone's business but after 6 months of back-and-forth emails but still getting NOTHING but lip service I have had it! On 1/29/2024 I ordered a Samurai Mat from Richard and we discussed via email just what I wanted. I was told what to order and how to pay, he even sent a link. I paid via bank card and waited, got a message it was processing, then nothing… After a month I messaged for a tracking number, nothing, another month, nothing. A few more emails and a message from Richard asking what I ordered (should he not know when I gave him my name and order number?!?) I went back into emails got all the info and was promised reprinting and sending to me. More waiting, 1 month, 2 months, more emails and calls, no tracking, finally a women emailed that Richard was not there, but she would help me if I could give all the order information AGAIN. She said they didn't do the Mat I wanted in the size I wanted despite the fact that Richard said he could "no problem"! Finally, I emailed to just send the regular Samurai mat and I'm fine. That's the last time I have heard from them despite my telling them I just want my mat or a refund or I going to do what I hate to do, flame them everywhere I can! So FLAME ON! Bottom line bad business to deal with…… I have now started a charge back with my bank!
I bought my first mat from Tiny Wargames as they had a sale on 3x3 mats, and I thought one that size would be perfect for solo games of Zona Alfa and Last Days: Zombie Apocalypse (I bought their UK urban zombie mat). I was so impressed with it that I bought their US urban mat as well for some variation. The quality is great and they're pretty inexpensive.
More recently, I got into the new Slaine: Kiss My Axe game and thought I'd pick up another few mat for that (more grassy / natural than urban), and I'm equally as impressed with those prints as I am with the print on the urban mats.
I've included a pic of the UK zombie mat from a recent game of Zona Alfa, and as you can see, it looks great.
I ordered a cloth mat from Tinywargames being 120cm x 80cm with ADLG Grid, in good time for my partner's birthday. The item did not arrive, I chased twice, and it eventually arrived, but was missing the ADLG grid.
It cost £60 plus £9 postage. It seems Tinywargames sent an order to a manufacturer, Contrado Imaging Ltd 3 weeks after I placed the order and paid, but that order from Tinywargames was not correct. The item delivered therefore did not have the ADLG Grid, although it is grass!
Tinywargames are not responding properly to emails at all, and are not putting forward a solution to this problem. I would suggest that anyone who wants a battle mat DOES NOT order from this company.
