Tilley

I ordered a Tilley hat for my husband for his birthday. I ordered it 2 months before because you never know how long shipping will take. I couldn't figure out how to measure his head without telling him why. So, I measured the inside of a baseball hat he uses. Well, that didn't work as the hat is too big. I contacted Tilley to see if I could exchange it for a smaller size, but was told they don't exchange items after 30 days. I should have bought it from Amazon, they don't have a 30 exchange policy. The hat cost me a days salary. Live & Learn.

Don't buy their products, they refuse to return defective items.
The materials they use of worthless and extremely poor quality.

I purchased a Tilley Ultralight T5 Classic on July 5,2023.

Unfortunately the hat has a blue discoloration on both sides of the hat. It is located where the drawstrings go through each of the eyelets.
I contacted Tilley customer service regarding the problem. They suggested I wash the discolored area with toothpaste or isopropyl alcohol.
I replied every time it gets a little wet I have to go through this process to clean it up again.
They replied they don't cover this problem whatsoever. Have had the hat a month and this is what happen with a very expensive hat which I have wanted for sometime.
To others beware of this company, they like to take your money but DO NOT stand behind their product.
