Absolutely terrible business practice. Bought a ticket for the NYY. We knew exactly what section and row we needed to be in to be close to friends. Ticket was "available". Once I purchased the ticket, I then received an email from Ticketmaster. Completely different ticket with no refunds. Total scam. I contacted them to see if it were user error and they then email their terms which talk about "upgrades" at their discretion. Just let the customer know that they are not purchasing what they picked. Advice to buyers: Pay the extra $6 and work with an honest firm. Shame on you!

I had to pay slightly over face value, but by avoiding any fees on TickPick (thank you!), I paid comparable to the face + fees I would have paid at the native vendor. After a little time, the ticket appeared in the native app, AXS, where tickets were sold for that event. And I know this because I purchased a ticket natively for the show the night before with the same artist. In the app, the tickets appeared the exact same way. I could not have told you which I purchased natively and which I purchased with the app.

I purchased tickets to Taylor Swift shortly before the concert started after having no luck beforehand. About 20 minutes later while parking at the stadium we got an email that we did not have the tickets and they were actually sold to somebody else. By that time the prices for other tickets had gone up significantly more than the $75 credit we received for our cancelled order. As a result we didn't get to attend the concert.
