Buying tickets from this site was one if the worst mistakes I have ever made! I paid almost $500 dollars for my tickets and when they finally sent them to me they had paid $55 for each and bought them from ticket master which is what I should have done in the first place! It also took forever for them to send me the tickets. I had to call them two hours before the event and was on and off hold for almost 40 minutes before they sent me the tickets. They then informed me that my tickets had to be printed which was never mentioned when I purchased them. Do not use this site! Zero stars!
This is a very expensive and deceptive ticket sales site.
Expense: Ticketmaster, which is known for its high service fees, generally charges 11-12% total as service charges.
I purchased a $254 item for a performance at the Majestic Theater on TicketsOffices.com and was charged $75 in service fees and charges 30% of the total order.
Deceptive: In the center of the screen is a large window asking a customer for identifying information, a delivery method (such as email), and the item charge (in this case $254).
Underneath that is a large button asking for credit card or PayPal information, followed by a button to complete the sale.
Throughout the process, the charge shown in that window does not change.
However, the company adds the large (30%) service fees in a smaller window on the right-hand side of the screen.
So when looking at the summary of charges in the center of the screen, there is no indication of a service charge. One has to use his/her peripheral vision to find the additional charges.
I knew such sites add service fees, but since the price in the main window never changes, I assumed the service fees were folded into the price or else would show up in PayPal before I submitted the order.
Once you hit the button to complete the sale the sale is final. I tried to cancel through the company's chat function immediately but no.
Legitimate online sites give people 20-30 minutes to cancel the charges.
This ticket was a nightmare. I had bought another ticket through StubHub - delivered right away, months in advance, for the sold-out show - last ticket. I also bought the last one through TicketOffices. But they didn't deliver by Fedex as promised, EVER. When I called to check with 4 days left, they had no idea why I hadn't received the ticket. Their phone system for customer service is convoluted and takes forever pressing number after number, or worse, the dreaded "Live Chat". I made over 20 of these painful calls and online chats to 20 different people to try to sort it out. They said "will call" will have them and blew me off. Said they'd send emails. Didn't. When I called BACK (repeatedly) and demanded the instructions, their email instructions about how to access 'will call' were all different and all wrong. I again called "will call" at the venue and they said I absolutely needed the picture ID of the buyer. Nothing less. Eventually, while driving the 3 hours to the venue, and a dangerous 45 min phone call to TicketOffices on the way, I told them to send me the buyer's photo ID immediately. They finally did - with literally 20 minutes to spare. It was terrifying. And my daughter's 16th birthday present. I will NEVER EVER USE TICKETOFFICES AGAIN. Pretty sure I'll never see the refund for the FedEx charge either.
I purchased tickets for an event and when I arrived to the event I was told my tickets were invalid! I was told my tickets were re-sold! Now I have asked for a refund and I am told they have to "investigate" and they will make a decision after if I will be refunded or not. This is absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
THIS WEBSITE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDICATELY!
I paid $713 for two tickets ($99 for each) with a hidden blow-my-mind service charge fee. I'd never heard a $6.95 ticket email delivery fee. I called for cancellation but result is a 45 mins waiting on the phone and talking to 5 people still trying to convince me to keep the tickets.
IT IS A SCAM.
Is that their idea of customer service? They actually disconnected me over LIVE CHAT when I will making a complaint and asking for a refund! Honestly, these people are a complete rip-off.
They sold me tickets that had restrictions, and then when I couldn't get into the venue due to those restrictions, they wouldn't give me a refund! And also then proceeded to give me the worst customer service that I had ever received by disconnecting my LIVE CHAT session. Unprofessional, rude and unreliable. Do not use them.
ZERO STARS :( I bought tickets to Penn and Teller and the event was postponed. I can not go on the rescheduled date and they will not reimbursement me? They are asking me to resell the tickets. I thought they were kidding, apparently not. Why can they not just resell the tickets? I wish I had checked the reviews before I bought my tickets. I spoke with RAY ******* and he kept me on hold FOREVER. Why keep me on hold for so long if you already have an answer for me? Horrible customer service.
**BEWARE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!** I bought tickets to see Jim Gaffigan for $262, when I received the tickets it said the total for each was $45, I was confused and called the center for the show where I found out that this company sells buys the ticket and the resells for double, triple, even quadruples the price. I called to get a refund and they told me they don/t offer one. This company will rip you off, I am paying triple what I could have paid for these tickets. Horrible business.
This is a so called "resale" site. They apparently buy tickets ahead of time in blocks and then sell it to you. This IS NOT the same as TicketMaster where you pay the vendor actual price for an actual seat. They charged us $200 for what turned out to be $25 seats in the 25th row at the Disney Ice show. Really... they are a website and claim to be providing service, what service is actually given... forget about refunds even if the event is 3 months in future, complaining to them is like talking to a wall. Complain to your credit card co. To help with clawing back a refund... or complain to your state attorney general.
I ordered tickets for the Singing Christmas Tree in Portland, OR and paid $175 for 2 tickets. I never received my tickets and when I went to will call, they had nothing in my name. They did give me two tickets with a face value of $20 each. Very embarrassing for me especially with a guest present. I will be filing a fraud claim.
This was my first time using ticketoffices.com and I by accidentally confirmed my purchase about 3 minutes before I was able to LIve Chat with a customer service rep. To explain that I did not mean to purchase the tickets. They would not refund me or allow me to exchange my tickets for the actual date I needed the tickets for. Additionally the prices were MUCH higher than any other site I looked on. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use this company. They are a total scam and will not even attempt to explain the purchasing process and if you have questions about why the same tickets for the same General Admission are $500 apart on their website they read from a script given to them and try to avoid responsibility by claiming they are only an "intermediary". LMFAO... Their call center is in the Phillipines and they don't know jack about anything. Dishonest company, dishonest customer service. Don't do it!
When 3 or 4 weeks ago I went to google to purchase a ticket for one of the artist I really wanted to see, the 1st website was ticket office. I choose the seats at that time it was full of them, so I was suppose to be seated 3rd row orchestra. I paid for it. The. I got an email from them telling me that it was a mat key place and I will get same style of seat even better. I got row P, means almost the last one. And when I called them first it was normal and then they purpose me a credit of 61usd to make me quiet. I don't care about the credit. I paid the most expedience seats in the theater and I want this one. This website are thieves. And I'm really very upset. I paid for my mistake..
This was my first time using this website so I was very scared that my ticket wasn't going to be valid. I got my ticket super fast and easy and the ticket was valid! It was a little pricey but everything worked out great!
ticketoffices.com is nothing but a ticket scalper. Didn't realize until after I purchased tickets that I could have paid $380 for four tickets rather than $780 through ticketoffices.com.
Avoid getting burned!
Buyer beware, when quickly redirected to Ticket Offices online, after checking Ticket Master first, appearing easy and secure, yes, but no seat assignment defined and double ticket charges followed by huge fees, realized only after okaying purchase, with no recourse. This ticket sales site is deceivingly presented like Ticket Master, but NOT!
We looked at a $45.00 central seat, thinking this was where we would be seated, but now find ourselves way at the back corner, at a costly lesson!
$$$ Compared to competitors like axs. Do not use! Shop around find someone else, they will charge you a huge extra rate for some bs extra device that is the same as anywhere else. We don't need deliveries, it's 2019.!
Do NOT do business with these scammers. You'll either pay WAY too much, or lose your money completely.
Folks, there is a good reason that 45% off the reviews for this scam company are average/fair/poor. With 29% of the total being poor. They absolutely suck. Avoid them.
They sold me tickets at 44% above face value, but at the point of ordering it all looked legit. Then $68 added for a service fee, then $7 fee to EMAIL the tickets. Really? You can be an astute shopper, and even then it all looks legit at the point off purchase.
So why did I want a refund, which they completely refused to do? Cuz the event I bought tickets for changed to a different event, but happened to include the original individual act as part off a tribute multi-performer act. They totally suck, and the reason there are any positive reviews is that they create a lot of fake accounts then give themselves 5 stars.
I bought 4 tickets then decided I needed 2 more I had no problem getting the extra tickets and they were in my row and attached to my original 4 seats. THANK YOU
Answer: They charged me 76 dollars more than what my tickets cost. When I called to ask why I spoke to two people, and each person gave me a different explanation, and they absolutely refused to give me a refund. I'm so sorry this happened to you.
Answer: Not to my knowledge. I Have yet to receive tickets or any notification about the tickets 8 months after original purchase date.
Answer: Can you give me a answer are my ticket valid. Will they be excepted
