The Whiz Cells is easily the best electronics buy back company I've ever used! Period! And that says a lot! I typically do business with BuyBack Boss when I want to sell one of my electronic devices because I've always had great experiences with them. And I do believe they are a fantastic company that offers top dollar for electronic products. Problem is, BuyBack Boss wouldn't buy my OnePlus Open foldable phone. So, I decided to take a chance on The Whiz Cells. Turns out The Whiz Cells takes it up even a notch higher with its customer service. Upon receiving my phone, the promised payment was in my bank account the very same day! Astounding! Even BuyBack Boss can't compete with that! I don't know that anyone can!
For all the work we put in charging the phones up, seeing what phones were what, all info needed. We got a loisey 100 bucks for 4 perfectly good phones. They say they take locked phones but they don't. And they do not pay you in 24 hours either
We do purchase locked devices, & we purchased yours. You had 3 devices where 2 were MDM locked & 1 was Google/FRP locked, which our website states we do not pay the full quote for. We sent you several emails & texted you asking you to remove the MDM & FRP locks, which at first you never replied to. The order was explained to you in detail & we sent you SEVERAL emails where you replied with questions that we answered. We cannot pay out in 24 hours when you're not accepting or declining our offer. You were paid just a few hours after you accepted the requoted offer. If you weren't happy with the requote, you had the option to decline it.
Easy and I hope we really get what we are offered. We'll see!
The agreement was to sell the phone to them, but they ran a check and it turned out that Samsung still had not credited my trade-in device to my account, so these folks offered me half of the original offer for a phone that was worth $1800 brand new at the time. I declined and they were angry that I apparently wasted their time, but that doesn't constitute the vindictive act of reporting my phone stolen though. They were very lucky that Sansung returned my money and trade-in.
We are not able to report your device as stolen as we've never owned or activated it. Only you or Samsung can do that. We had nothing to do with that.
I thought the phone was in good condition. The case was perfect without a mark and the screen only had the faintest of "smudges" in the most used areas that were only visible at certain angles and invisible with the display on. Seemed to fit the "few light scratches, can not be felt by fingernail" if not better. I would personally consider it excellent if I were buying a used phone. They graded it "other" without explanation and lowered the offered payout for by 20%.

Your phone did not have the faintest of "smudges". It had scratches on the phones screen that are notable. The description you gave of few light scratches that can not be felt by the fingernail is our description of good condition. However, you selected excellent which states flawless, less than 10% of phones fall into this condition. This is why your quote changed and we did give you an explanation. The email you responded to accept the new value has the explanation in it. I am sorry you are disappointed. That is never our goal. The percentage of adjustment to your quote would have been much less had you selected good condition.
The result paid for my phone was same as competitions, nothing more or less

They said my phone was locked with a pin code. I debt then the only pin codes I've ever used and they said none of the pins worked. I sent my device reset completely. They just didn't want to pay the amount I was quoted. Original quote was $640, I wound receiving $160. Pathetic. I will never use this company again and i will be sure to share my experiences with others. Worthless!
Michael this is at best disingenuous. We emailed you showing that there is a pin code lock on the phone. It is not unlocked as you stated. It is locked to Xfinity Mobile. And we offered to send the phone back to you at our expense but you wanted to sell the phone. Your review is, unfortunately, a completely inaccurate review of the events that took place. Please feel free to send us the $160 back and we will ship the phone back to you.
My second phone I sold arrived on time and i got the money the within the same.
It wasn't stolen or lost like my first phone was thanks last company I mentioned in the in the title.

The representative Bryan who assisted me was great.responded to my emails promptly & the transaction was smooth….only thing I wasn't informed of was that 50% of my funds was placed on hold via Paypal…when I contact PayPal they say it was t he sender who caused t he funds to be placed on hold…
Our apologies that this has happened. However, as discussed via email this is out of our control as PayPal has placed the funds on hold, not us. PayPal has acknowledged that this issue is on their end, not ours. We are working with you & PayPal to try to get this resolved & we offered for you to refund the amount & pay you via another method.
(The) Whiz Sells lowered my trade-in price a bit without a valid enough reason but I was able to bargain with them a bit and get a bit more for my iPhone. Payment was received the same day! Courteous and communicative. I would definitely do business with them again but next time I'm going to try to sell my phone or tablet myself first. Still recommended!

Our website states that we purchase iPhones with battery health/capacity greater than 85% & the device that you sent in was 80%, which was clearly explained. Simply a misleading offer for my phone. Very vague phone condition choice on your website that made me an offer way higher than what I was actually given.
You should be ashamed of your shady business model
There was nothing misleading about your offer nor was there a vague phone condition choice. You sent us a Google/FRP locked device. Our website is clear that we do not purchase iCloud/Google/FRP locked devices. We sent you 3 emails asking you to remove this lock. We never heard from you. We then send you 3 more emails requoting the device due to the lock being present in an effort to gain your business now & in the future. You didn't respond to the first 2, but accepted the 3rd one. You were promptly paid out afterwards. Had you just responded to our emails, we could've explained the situation to you, remedied the issues if you provided the solution on your end, & paid you out what you were quoted originally. If you weren't happy with the requoted offer you could've declined it & we would've sent it back to you. You did not. You accepted. Even after you were accepted & paid out, we offered to send the device back to you.

I had an iPhone with a non OEM battery to sell. I emailed asking advice about how that would be priced and was told to list it as "broken." But when I sent it in, they said it should be "other" and reduced the price offer. Not what I was hoping for.
Thank you for the review. You are correct that you were asked to list it as "broken". However when you placed your order, you listed it as "cracked glass". You also did not disclose that the phone gets hotter than normal when charging which indicates further issues with the battery and/or internals.
So far so good, pricing, customer service all seems on point

Clear instructions telling me how to find my model # and memory and how to rate my phone, how to mail it (they paid postage) and when I would receive their price for it. Then, they sent a note saying what they would pay for it (as expected) and when payment would arrive. Everything was clear and concise. When I wrote with question, I got an immediate polite answer.

They messed up in the beginning but eventually made it almost right. Started off telling me I sent them 1st generation iPad- they fixed that saw it was indeed 5th generation. Two days of emails with two different people. Then was told it was WiFi only and dropped the offer $10. I told them when I first filled out the form it was WiFi only! Didn't want to start another 2 or 3 days worth emails- so took the offer. Have a phone I had set up to sell to them but decided to try someone else. They were very nice about everything but they should have honored the offer.

The WhizCell website was easy to use to get a trade-in estimated value. I selected the gift cart option and used the postage paid label to send in my iPad gen 9. Within a week, I received email with a link to the select a virtual gift card for $125. I selected an Amazon gift card and immediately applied it to my Amazon account. I would prefer to receive funds via Paypal, but there is a 3% fee for that.

I printed my labels and sent 2 phones back. They received them in about a week. I was able to track and see when they received the product. My payment was sent the same day and I was able to transfer the funds to my debit card. This is the easiest process I have had with selling my phones.

I did the quote online and they gave my old phone exactly the right amount. They had the best quote compared to other sites I went to and there was no hassle in delivering my phone to them or them trying low ball me.

Your device was heavily scuffed & you stated that the device was in "Excellent (Like New)" condition. We sent you a requoted offer, which you had the option to decline & we would've sent it back to you at our cost. You chose to accept & you were paid. The device also had screen scratches, but we did not take anything off for that.
