The Unlock Team

This is a fraudulent website. Just write anything, any made up number and model of phone, and the message says, "Your phone details have been successfully submitted and we are pleased to tell you your Apple can be unlocked."
No matter what number you write they will tell you that pay them money and they will fix it for you. They are fake, even the address they gave for their e-ticketing agency is fake. I google map the address and there is nothing.

After providing them with IMEI nbr their reply was 100% we can unlock. Paid with credit card, got auto reply will provide code in 6-12 hrs, nothing happened, contacted scammers got fake reply: cannot get a code reason my phone must be stolen black listed or damaged.
I'm the original owner got it from the carrier I'm with Rogers and still using on same plan for 2 years and it works perfectly. Want to unlock it so I can lower my cost with a different carrier.
Anyhow it's not only the small $ amount but the deed. SCAM. Contacted mastercard they are going after them.

They could not find the unlock code and did not refund me as they promised. I left several messages to them but no response from their contacts teams. Never deal with them again.

There is no way I would ever recommend this outfit to unlock your phone. Like almost all on here, the promises are stellar, but they do not deliver. If it is not one excuse, it is another. And stall... that is the ploy they rely on. Never did get an unlock code, never got the promised refund... went to another local outfit, they charged little more and unlocked the phone wile I waited. Nothing wrong with the phone at all, as I Was told by these scam artists.

Don't be misled. You'll never get your money back. No wonder why PayPal can't trust them anymore, so don't trust them even with your credit card!

Well what can I say about them!? Except that it is coming up to 30 days since they were unable to provide me with a unlock code which I do understand it is not always going to be that easy to unlock a phone. Here is where the problem for me is! If you fail to provide a service the least you can do is honour your refund guarantee! My lesson learned don't waste your time or your $12.22! Hey maybe 2018 I might see a refund?

Tried it 2 different times and could not unlock my phones either time. Emailed them several times for refund but every email was ignored. Absolutely horrible.

Paid my money. Two days latter I was told there was no unlock code for my phone. I was directed to a site that sells unlock software. I was promised a refund in 7 days. Took 16 days after sending emails and threatening to have the fee charged back by my credit card company. A complete waste of time.

I would rate a 0 if possible. I went through the steps to request a code for my S5. No response for a couple days. I sent an email to them for support and was told they had no record of the transaction. Though my visa statement Cleary shows paying them 8.99 plus exchange.

After several exchanges with their "support staff", they gave me a code... which, surprise surprise, didn't work. I informed them of this. After a wait, they said they would refund my money. In 10 days. It is now 18 days later. No money.

Buyer be aware of this site. They only thing they do is take your money

Its a scam. They never send the unlock code.
They will delay your refund and hope that you forget about it.
It`s astonishing that authorities aren`t doing anything to stop this scam.

I choose the unlock team to unlock an HTC 8X phone.
Their price was attractive compared to other site, and after recording my phone IMEI, I've been confirmed they could unlock my phone.
Once I placed a P/O, I received shortly after an email saying they have not been able to process the unlock. They gave me some links to download softwares (which were for some scam) in order to unlock on my own, saying that if it did not work, they would refund me.
They NEVER did, even after 3 reminder e-mails they just ignored and never answered.
Stay away from them and rather consider cellunlocker.net which successfully unlock 3 phones.

Their policy of Full Refund... Doesn't happen within the time frame stated.
They give excuses about it usually takes longer, some technical error

There are a lot of these unlocking companies, all may be good until you have to try to get a refund because your phone can't be unlocked... choose carefully

Followed instructions and received a message back that they could unlock my phone. Paid the money only to receive an email shortly after 'apologising' that they couldn't unlock it. As per their terms & conditions, a full refund was to be within 7 days... didn't happen.
Not a nice way to do business... lesson learned!

They are scam artist. They said they could give me an unlock code turns out they couldn't charge me more than what they were asking online. Now they want me to give them my PayPal account which I don't have to return the money. Do not use these people for nothing you will never get your money back.

Terrible... don't go with this company to unlock your phone. They said they couldn't unlock mine and there was no good reason for it. I better get my money back...
I will let everyone know via social media if not. I will post another review in 7 days to let you know if I got my refund also... waste of a day and money!

They took my money for a service they could not provide and did not refund it. Instead i heard one bull$#*! exuse after the next. No Good.

Total scam avoid at all cost. You will lose your money with no service provided. Please do your research and choose a reputable company.

Absolute trash. I was told I would get a refund since they could not unlock my phone, a few weeks later, still no refund, so I emailed them. I got a reply saying they would follow up and that I would get my refund within the week, another month later still no refund. I've emailed 3 times since then, and haven't received ANY RESPONSE AT ALL. I will be contacting PayPal after this to let them know they are partnering with a SCAM company.

I paid 8.99 to get my iphone unlocked. I received an email the next day saying they were unable to unlock my phone and would provide me a refund within 7 to 14 days. I waited 14 days and the refund still have not been processed. I emailed them back and forth for 10 days and they said that there were problems with the credit card refund and asked me for my paypal account and they would refund me to my paypal. Turned out they sent me a fake paypal email. Don't ever use this site. It's a total scam.

Scam they dont do anything but take your money, so if you paid through paypal go to paypal and open resolution page this is important when you klick on send on your complaint their unlock team message shows up and says dont go through paypal it will take weeks to resolve we will give you instand refund within 10 minutes DO NOT GO FOR IT just carry on with your complaint, if you go for their scam not only the dont refund but you have to wait a few weeks before the paypal people can escalate.
Well 3 days later after my complaint to paypal they refunded my money

They told me they could unlock my phone, then after paying said that they could not unlock the phone but would refund within 7 days. I have written several times and get exactly the same response each time that there was a technical issue and they could refund within 24 hours to my paypal. It has been 4 months now

I ordered an unlock and was told they were ABLE to do it. Then I got an email that it couldn't be done and I Have to try downloading some software which wasnt even available for my phone. They told me if it doesnt work I will get a refund. NO REFUND CAME! They won't answer to any emails now and totally ignore me. SCAM!

I got scammed by this Unlock team. I should have known that the posted price of $7.99 Cdn for unlocking iphone5 was too good to be true. They charged me $12.10 instead of the posted price. I got an email 2 days later telling me that they couldn't unlock my phone and that a refund was in place. They said it takes 7 days and when that period had expired, I contacted them and they said it will take another 13 days. It has been 2 weeks now and nothing. Beware of this company.
