The Farmers Dog

This company has engaged with sleazy third party "affiliates" that send out an endless stream of spam. No legitimate company needs to engage in such sleazy marketing campaigns. The company does not value its reputation if it is using the same spammers that send pornographic spam and fake medications to promote its products. I would not trust my pet's health to this company.

I wanted to love this company, but it's been awful with customer service. The trial was great. I felt that the packaging and amounts in the package were great. However, when the trial was over, I noticed a lot of water in the packaging. My dog was hungrier during the day.
Additionally, the shipping is horrible. They claim to be "preparing" the food, however, when I called the other day, the woman over the phone told me that they're waiting on the carrier to come to pick up the food. When I followed up again, up they were telling me that the food was still being prepared. Now being within the window of being delivered. Mind you, when I had issues with this a month ago, they told me it takes two days in transit once it ships. I suspect that the 17-20th window will be late, as today is Friday. Additionally, they'll charge your card and not ship in a timely manner. So you'll always run out of food. Customer service is of no help, and stop responding. I'm switching to a different brand.

Considering how much Farmer's dog costs, you would think they would have better policies in place to help support the customer. Unfortunately, this is not the case as they are rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to do anything.

The company's ordering service can be complicated. Changes prior to shipping are not possible if "the cutoff" date has passed, even though the order is still not shipped.

Way Overpriced, and dog still refuses to eat it even after one week of trying. Canceled my subscription

A HUGE tip-of-the-hat to Farmers Dog! These folks truly care about OUR PETS and they CARE about us, the pet owners! Allow me to explain. My wife and I had two Boston Terrier rescue dogs. We lost one, Dustie Rose, suddenly last November and our remaining girl, Maggie Mae has Cushings and advanced dementia. We just started feeding Farmers Dog to Maggie Mae and have had her on it for about a week now. She is responding quite well and has new found vigor and appetite. She is more alert than we've seen in several months! We are truly grateful for Farmers Dog!
My review doesn't stop there. It is with great pleasure that I bring you "the rest of the story". After Farmers Dog learned of what my wife and I have been through since Dustie Rose passed, the fine folks at Farmers Dog sent us a BEAUTIFUL POTTED PLANT and a very thoughtful card! How many companies elevate to this LEVEL OF CARING for their customers and pets?! This POTTED PLANT will serve as a living memorial to the FOND MEMORIES we have of Dustie Rose and Maggie Mae for MANY YEARS TO COME!

Good selection of healthy food, natural and organic options. Dogs love em. Will order again soon, shipping was reasonably fast.
