Tennis Express

I have generally enjoyed my order experience with TennisExpress. But, on this occasion, I ordered a couple of shirts to wear for a trip to the US Open over the Labor Day weekend and paid for expedited shipping for an indicated delivery date of 9/2. However, the shipping was inexplicably delayed and the delivery arrived 6 days late and after my trip. Also, one of the shirts had packaging that was previously opened and poorly taped closed. I'm disappointed with this shopping experience.

Why do you make me pay six dollars for shipping when I just live four hours from Houston? While other people pay the same amount but live four hundred miles away. When you calculate the tax, make sure you use 1.0825 because I feel like you cheated me off for five dollars of taxes. You should make every purchase receive free shipping just like Shoe Mall.com

I ordered a used demo racquet for purchase. It arrived with the strings having numerous and significant fraying. Some strings are more than 50% worn through. This racquet cannot be played with until the strings are replaced. I anticipated used strings with the racquet but these are intolerable. Tennis Express should have notified me of the poor condition of this demo racquet and offered to replace the strings prior to shipment. Poor customer service.

If you have medium wide or wide feet, DO NOT purchase these shoes. The socks tongue piece prevented my feet from going into the shoe. I really like the colors so, I ultimately cut out the tongues, loosened the strings, skipped holes and they are still too snug across my feet. Quality/workmanship is very poor. These shoes will cause or constipate bunions. I wasted my money on these.

After calling Tennis Express on the day my order was to be delivered, they told me it hadn't been shipped because of one color I ordered wasn't available....no email, no phone call, nothing; I wonder how long I would have had to wait, to find this out, if I had not called??? Then they promised express shipping to arrive on Monday; well, it finally came, today, Tuesday, 10 days after ordering, only because I called them, otherwise, who knows how my weeks I'd be kept waiting. They should have given me some sort of refund!!!!!!!! It would cost them less to do that than to lose me as a customer.....

I love these tennis shoes! They are very comfortable and have a true fit and the support I need. I would recommend these to a friend.

They were also delivered sooner than I had expected, which is really great.

I ordered a racket, shoes and cans of tennis balls from tennis express, and the process was really simple. Once i placed my order, i was able to track where it was and that gave me comfort knowing my product was on the right schedule. The site said it would take 1 to 3 business days, but i got mine in a day which really impressed me. Definitly going to buy 2 more new rackets from them in the future, but more around the winter when things start to get to chilly to play outside.

My experience with tennis express was a frustrating one. I placed an order by phone but did not receive the racquet until almost a month later. They told me after a few weeks that the racquet had by mistake shipped to GA (I live in NC) but would be shipped to me in 2 days from that time - ok, mistakes are made, so I didn't make a fuss.
However, in two days, instead of receiving the racquet, I received an email stating that delivery would be in another two days... In 2 days, another notice that it would be another 2 days.
I'm very happy with the racquet but disappointed in the service and the lack of interest from the company. I don't think the people there really cared.
