Something Changed w/ Shipping

I loved this site so much when it first launched last year. I made at least 12-15 orders over the past several months and had almost no issues with the small exception of an ill fitting dress and a broken necklace but for the most part a wonderful experience. I posted on IG and sent tons of friends to the site. However, over the past two weeks or so, something has changed. Every order I have made lately has notices pop up that procurement of items is causing delays, shipping keeps getting delayed, etc. I understand that they give a credit, but these orders are just sitting there not even shipped out. In the past it only took a day or two for items to leave their warehouse and about 7-10 days to receive. Now they take a while to even ship out. Not sure if they got a huge influx of customers due to all the social media activity or not but I have since cancelled 4 back to back orders and have decided not to order from here until they get their shipping issues under control again. Back to Amazon, Shein and shop miss A for now.

UPDATE (as of 10/23/23): I have added back two more stars to this review as the shipping issues seems to have improved significantly these past few months. My items generally ship out approx two days after ordering and received in approximately 8-9 days total depending on the items ordered. I'm relieved that they have addressed the issues. Just an FYI, they generally use Ontrac for tracking shipments and sometimes you will receive a forbidden 404 code when you try to track but it hasn't caused any issues receiving the packages. If you clear your cache and browsing history, it usually will remove the forbidden notice on tracking.

TEMU IS A SCAM!

WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN? I have read temu revies where the person has been waiting on their items for 1-2 months! I didn't want to believe it because my first 3 orders with temu went well. But I currently have 6 orders with temu that they have yet to ship to me. Some of the orders I have been waiting on for weeks and weeks – and they HAVEN'T EVEN SHIPPED! Instead of shipping my orders, I get almost daily messages where they cancel multiple items from my orders saying that they are "sold out". But when I check, the items are not sold out, not even close – they are still listed for sale! I BELIEVE THAT TEMU HAD NO INTENSIONS WHATSOEVER TO ACTUALLY SHIPS MY ITEMS, THEY JUST WANTED TO TAKE MY MONEY! (Update: I finally cancelled my orders so I can get my money back! I don't want to keep waiting for items that never come!)

Only possitive experience withTEMU!

I shop using ****o* for past 11years. I shop online on average of 2 to 3 times a week. I still shop there until I started using TEMU.
I will tell you from my own persoanl experience with TEMU the "Good and Bad"
FYI, Starting since 2/2023 I shopped around 5 times on TEMU on veriety of items and spent about $400 dollars.

-GOOD-
1. Wide veriety of items available (some items are really uniqe and make your life easier)
2. Prices are super super low for the quality and the design that your getting. (I never understand people who complain about $10 smart watch because you can't speak to text) Come~on.

3. Free shipping from China in about 2 weeks through customs with "Tracking" information from USPS. I think thats amazing. And Tracking that actually works!

4. Easy to use app interface (I think its one of the best) Fast responds on every clicks,
Fun and intuitive stuff like spinning wheels, bonuses, free gifts, instant text updates and etc.

I can still list more positive items about this site. But I will just stop here. You can try them out and see for your self.

-BAD-
1. Only thing I dont like about TEMU is the shipping time takes to long. Coming from ****e to 2 weeks is not easy, but knowing that how, where it's coming from and the value for the money? I will just accept it and continue shopping.

Bad refund case

I shopped on this website a lot, I bought things for my family, and I used to really trust Temu, because not any bad things happned, and I have a very good history on the site. I asked for a simple explaination on a refound matter when I have delievered the refunded item back, and I have ask them wy, but they just told me the same thing and now it is been a week, im been played around for no reason, but they denied it, and charged the refunded amount back, I do not understand why the customer service in a matured website like this will make that happen. I am rully disapointed and feel quiet stupid of me of trusting this website.

BEWARE

Update, after posting the review Temu responded and right after I got my money back. After writing a well deserverd bad review imo its only fair to update that they fixed it

I was lured to the Temu app with FALSE advertising on facebook. A yeans for 1,69 as a welcome gift. I gathered more items, 13 in total and when I wanted to pay the price of the yeans went up to 19. I (stuped, I know) decided to give this company the benefit of the doubt and deleted the yeans from my shopping card, paid for the other items (most of them were meant as gifts for the dogs at our local shelter). Got in touch with customer service and told them something went wrong with the new customer discount for the yeans and asked them to fix it. They wanted proof, I provided it to them. They transfered me to another agent who said that after carefully investigating I had already profit the discount from a different account. I do not have a different account! I never heard about Temu before I saw the add on facebook. After carefully investigating myself I found out there are a lot of reviews and articles about this form of false advertising. I cancelled my order but read other reviews of people who did the same and never got their money back. If I dont get my money back I will report this to the proper autorities who are already keeping a close eye on Temu. And report as a scam to my bank and the platform I used to pay for the order. Im super disappointed, Temu brought me nothing but stress and frustration
