I ordered a youth baseball glove for my son's first baseball team experience from Team Express, and that was in the beginning of February 2015; I am still awaiting its arrival and here it is the end of March 2015 and baseball season begins this week. I don't even know what to say or think. How disappointing is this. Guess it is to Wal-Mart I go and never to darken the Team express web site again. Lesson learned!
I placed an order on 1/7/15 of that order two pairs of batting gloves were said in stock at time of order i later received an email stating the said items were back ordered with a date 1/21/15 that has come and passed long ago i called and was told they were shipped and on the way. Two weeks passed and i then received a confirmation of shipping of one pair 3/6/15 two weeks later i get another shipping confirmation on 3/17/15 ups tacking number doesn't work (no number on file) all the while customer service number(s) are disconnected or operator away from desk (all day) like the business went under I've sent numerous emails with NO response. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS OPERATES LIKE THIS? The whole reason for buying them here was they were on sale and it was before the little league started now the season is half over!
I ordered a pair of cleats that were shown on the website to be in stock and available for 2nd day shipping. I placed my order with the 2nd day shipping option for a total of $82.82. Team Express promptly charged my debit card for the full amount and sent an email with an order number. After 4 days I emails customer service but got no response. The next day I called the customer service number which only rang & rang & rang with no answer. I tried calling several times that day and the next morning. I have used their website order status feature but it still shows no tracking number or that the product has shipped. It has been 10 days without any response or delivery from Team Express.
I've ordered successfully from Team Experss and Baseball Express a number of times in the past but something has happened to this company.
My recent order was placed and my cc charged but then that was it.
No shipping confirmation and no reply to my inquiries about the order other than an automated email reply. Their Cust Service number just rings and rings.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM
They DO NOT answer their phones. They DO NOT reply to emails. I'm going to dispute the CC charge and buy from someone else. What the H*LL!?!?!
This is the first review I have ever left in my life. I am a very patient person, and I am willing to accept the fact that mistakes can happen. I am beyond angry with this company. They offer 2 telephone numbers as contacts. One number is not a working number and the other tells you that there are anywhere from 58 to 100 calls in front of you. I have tried for seven days to speak to anyone to know avail. I have never even gotten confirmation that my order was even shipped from over a week ago, and I also paid for expedited shipping. I have emailed six emails to this company and they send an automatic response that someone will get back with me shortly but nobody ever has.
Further this company took $250 from me of which I can't even get ahold of anyone for a refund. I will be searching how to file a formal complaint and will file a complaint with Better Business Bureau as well. It is simply wrong to advertise and steal from your customers.
Stay away from this stupid website, they false advertise just to get your money and they dont even answer their phones. Says ships in one business day and a week later it still hasn't shipped. STAY AWAY USE DIFFERENT WEBSITE!
Ordered 3 items on January 3,2015 Received two of the items within a week with the third being backordered.
Returned one item, a shirt, at my cost- Too small.
Anticipated in stock date on third item comes and goes with no correspondence from TE. Call to customer service results in them telling me that they will let me know via email when it ships next week.
No response from TE the following week and I call. Placed on hold and after a few moments a recording comes on and says they are closing and goodbye. It was 5 pm and website says they are open until eleven.
I send email- get bogus generic response. Then an email stating that my source of payment did not work. So they did not ship last item. Checked with my credit card issuer. Absolutely no problems with the CC I used when I placed the order.
All attempts to contact TE customer service number since mid February results in recording from verizon that says the number is not in service. Website order tracking system is worthless.
All emails to TE result in generic response that says their computer system is being upgraded and they are experiencing delays...
Anyway, earlier this week, it's March now, I get a shipping notice email from them that they are shipping the shirt that returned 6 weeks prior.
Still not able to contact them by phone and my email requesting a cancellation of the remainder of my order and for them to not bill my CC for the wrong item have received the same bogus generic response. With no way of contacting anyone at TE, I have no idea if my order was ever cancelled.
Worst online purchasing experience ever. Stay away.
I will echo each reviewer ahead of me. I work for a university club system and ordered bats for our softball club. Nearly $500 worth of bats. The order never appeared and I was never sent a receipt (which is required when purchasing items with a university card). I tried emailing the site first. Generic response. I call the company. The phone rings and rings, and then disconnects! I can't get a hold of ANYONE with this "company." Frustrating doesn't begin to express how I feel about this ordeal! I have to file a dispute within my university so that my card doesn't get suspended!
If I could I would have given this company NO stars! I have ordered many items online for years (multiple sports equipment, items, uniforms, etc) and have never, ever encountered so much trouble like I did with this company. I usually don't write reviews especially negative ones. If you are trying to order sports supplies go elsewhere even if the other places are more expensive. This place is not worth the headache. Looks are deceiving.
1) Placed my order online. Paid an extra $15 to get my item (baseball pants for my boys) to me in 2 days in time for their first baseball game.
2) 24 hours later received a generic email (after office hours were closed mind you) stating that the company's computer system is being redone and that it would be at the end of the week before my order can get processed. I ordered on a Monday and that it will be Friday before they would even start to process my order... 2 days past when my order was suppose to arrive at my house!
3) Contacted customer service online via email (since that was the only way possible at this point. 10pm) requesting a full refund of my shipping price since my order would not be processed as advertised. False advertising. Never once did the company disclose that they would not be able to complete my order in time due to their computer issue yet they were ready to charge my credit card for a service they did not provide.
4) Received another (same one) generic response email again with the same message. This time already now dissatisfied that it has been over 3 days with no further contact or follow up email/phone call of my order per my request. I am left in the dark about everything... order placed, shipped, credit card charged, full amount, refund what?
5) Attempted to call the company during their business hours only to get a busy signal multiple times. I was determined and just kept calling. Finally got it to ring and then needed to stay on the phone for almost one minute waiting for something or someone to pick it up. Finally got through only to find out that it was a prerecorded computer message having me select more options. By the third time I was put on hold stating I had 40 callers ahead of me. However when on hold I was not even sure I was still connected. It was just silence. I was determined to follow this through and left the phone on speaker and waited. I think the company was hoping I would hang up either by thinking I was not longer connected or couldn't wait that long. While on hold I replied back to the customer service emails looking to cancel my order this time unsure if this company was really legit. It seemed very shady.
6) After a while waiting finally got a live person for him to tell me he could not see or look up my order online since "they we changing over the computer system". I told him I wanted to cancel my order before it gets processed and shipped out so I did have to have my credit card charged or go through the hassle of returning items and paying more shipping for their disorganization. He proceeded to tell me that he is not even sure if my order was processed or not do to the fact that the warehouse was still filling and shipping items but they (customer service) could not see my order. WHAT! He took my name, order number and stated he will cancel it as soon as the computer will allow him (we will see how far that goes).
7) Plus when trying to find a site to review this company it was impossible. Team Express wants you to use Amazon for payment yet you can't review through them. Yelp does not have them listed either. Let just hope this gets out there.
During busy sports seasons... Spring who changes over your computer systems while still trying to run a business. Why not early summer? Downtime for most sports. Yet if the company knew this was coming they should have been prepared accordingly. Bad business.
So needless to say... DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. DISORGANIZED, UNTRUSTWORTHY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Shop elsewhere. Pass this along and spread the word.

Ordered catchers equipment for my grandson in size intermediate. The first shipment arrived and it was size adult. When the company was contacted I was told that I had to ship the items back in order to be refunded and the correct items would be sent. Just received the second order which cost me $20 more than the first order and it is again adult size. This time they are sending me a shipping label and then told me that I should probably place my order somewhere else!
I have tried to use this company 3 times to buy gloves from them. The first 2 times I tried ordering, the item was not in stock and delayed a good week or two. An email came to me 2 days after I placed the order that it was on backorder and they could not tell me when it would be in stick. The third time I was looking at a glove for myself and the item listed as on order and would be in shortly. When I chatted with the representive, they were not sure when the item would come in? So how can you say it will be in shortly?
The only items I have ordered from them are 2 composit bats that were left overs.
Stay away form Softball.com or team express! They need to do a better job of tracking their items, there are no bargins shopping here unless you are not in a hurry and can receive the item anywhere from 7 days to 7 months
I was shopping for a swing trainer for my son who is in little league. After using Google Shopping they listed Team Express for an Eaton Swing Trainer with free shipping at a good price. On the Team Express website they stated free shipping on the item. When I went through checkout, a shipping charge was added and in a rush I still hit submit.
Moments after I this I sent a message to customer service tp clarify the free shipping or cancel the order. After multiple emails they said shipping charges are included and took no responsibility for the inaccurate listing. I then said cancel the order. They responded they would but it might be "too late" if the manufacturer sent the order. Of course I saw red the order was brand new. They did not respond to a request to clarify that the order was being canceled.
Guess what shows up at my door 10 days later? They processed the order and now have shipping and restocking fees they want to charge. I will fight this but this is a scam operation.
Answer: Yes. Don't use them!
Answer: Contact the BBB. I did and finally got a response from them. Never got the order but the hold was taken off and cancelled, finally!
