I never thought I'd say this, but Target missed the mark big time with my recent order. Not only did the delivery arrive late, but the item itself was completely different from what I had ordered. It's frustrating to see a company known for its reliability falter so badly in fulfilling basic customer expectations. Disappointed doesn't even begin to cover it.

I cancelled my Red Card and asked them to remove all of my personal data from their computers. It took awhile, but the agent finally spoke with someone and was able to comply. There stand on homosexuality is blatant and immoral--even having kid's clothes and the kid's section in rainbow colors is disgusting.
I used to buy here, that is why I got their credit card in the first place. I bought a hand vac that would never charge properly. I tried another and had the same issue.

IMS is not updated in real time to reflect actual stock in the store, which is absolutely insane to me. Changes in current orders are not emailed to the customer in a timely manner, takes about 24 hours for the automated system to send the email which at that point you've already gone out of your way to figure out what's going on with your order.
Stay away from Target's online ordering if you value your time. It will be wasted, guaranteed.
I just recently purchased my 2nd tube of lume cream deodorant and noticed that the tube is smaller that my initial purchased. The price is still the same but the size went from 3.0 to 2.2 net wt. Shame on you.

Went for dry cat food today at Target and found the price on a 30lb bag had gone up $6 from $19 to $25 since last week. Bummer, but no problem - they offered a buy two and get a $5 gift card back. I purchased two bags and asked for masks, got iunstructions from polite staff on where to find them, but left with out them. Got lost in store- my fault. At checkout, could not get the deal advertised with the gift card, so ended up leaving unhappy. Staff made an attempt to help, but they were busy. Check around before shopping, don't make the mistakes I did. Next time I will shop local QFC or Amazon for similar less priced items. Sorry target - I tried Sat. March 6th 2021

I have always loved target but I am done. First problem was I had returned and item by mail and didn't receive a refund after it was received. This is system glitch that had happened before. I talked to a very rude customer service rep. I asked them if they understood WMS and what I was talking about. He took it as an insult, cussed and me then my returned was denied a hour later. I am not finished with this issue and plan to take it further.
A few days ago I used my target circle money on an online order. Before it shipped I cancelled the item. I wrote a customer service rep and asked why the full amount of the reward was not used on the item left. He was nice and said the remainder would be in my account in 24 hours. It has been a bit longer so I wrote customer crevice again. I had screen shot the whole conversation and sent it to this rep. I also wrote her what had happened. She said no that it was my problem and a miscommunication. The screenshots show it was not a miscommunication. It is only $12.00 but I am over it. I known there is a shortage of finding people to work. Target is lucky because they have one last customer.
Most of target review same as amazon brand is fake also Walmart using same method to get positive ratings, they removing the 1 stars reviews,
Be prepared to do the job yourself, as with Dollar General and Walmart. I must insist on compensation and benefits.
Everything in box damaged. Shipping is never adequately protected. Boxes are way too big and flimsy! Never is there any packing.

Chips were smashed cookies have been obliterated in the past. Canned fruits and vegetables have been smashed in the past did not receive a refund last time. Doubt if I will be able to get one this time. I need to learn how to ship products if they’re going to stay in this business.
Placed items in cart. Setup to pick up. Will not allow purchase. Get circle with slash cursor. Attempted useless customer service. No help.
I placed an order online and received a different item. I haven't gotten any email notifications about the refund that I am still waiting for. I will not order same day delivery again and I definitely would not recommend it. Terrible shopping experience at target.

Target charged me twice for the"free promotional gift card" when I purchased items required for the gift cards. They never said on the site this would happen and after wasting an hour on the phone with individuals who were very hard to understand they mentioned they were having a lot of complaints. Yes! Cheating people leads to this! Never thought I'd say this but I'll shop at Walmart!
The self-checkout process at Target is complicated and deceiving. After making our purchases a window asked us to select a target card to make our purchase or sign up for a card. When we hit the 'X' to close the window, it went away but the balance was $0.00, alluding that the purchase was cancelled. I hit the try again button on the bottom of the screen and that same box came up. Finally, I looked at the card reader and saw that there was a 'No Thanks' button. I pushed that and completed my purchase.
We have a lot of migrants and young people who shop at target. It made me wonder how many unsuspecting customers signed up for the card not knowing that they do not have to. I felt bad for the cashier having to deal with rude and frustrated customers as well. Target, please stop peddling your card and go back to be being customer centric.
In today's digital age, it shocks me that target is behind. They are only one upgrade from Walmart. Ever heard of digital receipt? Of course the machine gets stuck tonight and could not give me a receipt. Horrible. Secondly, the card option on the screen just says card with the target gift card icon. No they do not take debit or Visa or Mc. Just the target gift card. See how that could be confusing. Its sad. Maybe bed bath and beyond is better...
I go to target a lot. Close to home. And my cashier i usually see is not working. A few more trips in I ask another worker wheres Devin. He got released from his job for not going above their standards. I thought he was a really nice gentleman. Walmart has great prices there too. Gonna stay clear for now.

Put a selection on the order pages that would notify the recipient that they have a gift. This would help save time putting info. Which the Target registry already has available... saves errors etc. This is necessary when ordering gifts from another state or local etc. One service I use even attaches a gift card. I just tried to order a present but now have to wait for info. On the recipient to complete order... I had this happen years ago w/ target and at that time the recipient had problems getting the present. The ordering pages need updating to simplify them. I will not use this registry again unless this done. Too much hassle. I have shopped at Target a lot for many years and will still do so... I just wish they would get their act together so they can compete w/ walley world and others
The stores are very messy. So many things out of place. And I think it's ridiculous that their online doesn't ship jeans. You can buy almost anything you want online and have it shipped to your house but not jeans from target.
I received a gift for Christmas which i did not need. So upon returning the item and just get a store gift card they informed me that I cannot return any additional items for the remainder of the year, until 2024. There is a $100 cap on returns. I just reminded me again why I never shop at this place.

It's funny how the prices of the book went up during the buy one get half off the second. I buy several books per year, so I know what the average price has been in the past. Good job Target. Some People are not as stupid as you would hope. Especially those that still read out of a book!
Honestly shipping with target.com is horrible- I have had them ship them a 4 drawer storage chest- missing one whole chest, had them guarantee an item's delivery date (and then miss that date by 2 weeks). And have had items arrived spilled (and their customer service is really not that helpful). Overall I think I will stop shopping at target.com and avoid the hassle- better just to go in store
Once you find a job there be ready to work from 10 to 12 hours. Somehow they are always hiring people to make themselves look profitable. Their managers are all early twenties to thirty who has not experience managing people. Their turnover rate is very high. When a manager is approached about the lack of working hours given, their answers are very demeaning which is unnecessary. One of the 20 years old manager told me take it or leave it.
Everything is so poorly made and mass-produced that it falls apart after a few days. But the prices are sooo expensive for what it is. I can get some of the same things at the dollar store. I purchased some shirts, washed them and they became muted, lopsided, uneven, full of holes and loose threads. Can't wear them in public. The website sucks so much too! Weird layout, hard to navigate. They ship your items one by one. Waste of packaging and time. Why can't you mail out 3 shirts together? Why must I wait 2 weeks just to receive them all? Doesn't make sense. Customer service is a joke, don't bother.
The Greenbrier Target has been out of or refuses to offer take home bags of popcorn For months. Other Targets have them but not Greenbrier.
Now they are out of the large bags and instead give you a small bag and another small bag that's not even half full and still charge you for a large one.
They are really cheating customers
