I initially ordered 10 of them. They only had I believe six in stock, and they sent them to me. They informed me that the remaining four would be sent to me as soon as possible. About two weeks later I received the other four. Great place to shop good prices quick deliveries. Excellent sell staff.
My first order. Ordered 2 Tsunami Sapphire XT 11ft rods. Fast shipping, super light rods, They came in box with no damage. Well package thank you. It casts great put on rods 2 Penn pursuit iv 8000 reels with 20lb mono line. I would recommend them(Tackle Direct) to my friends great service. Thank You again. Phil
Just got back from my bluefin trip. The Owner rings and Spro swivels worked flawlessly. Went 5/5 on 150lbs+ BF. Captain said he doesn't see that often an I credit it to the Owner split rings and the Spro power swivels.
Over all the products are good but they're terrible at answering your email of email them three times in five days and they don't respond. I understand if you don't want people to call you because of covid-19 so you turn the phones off and say we can email them but they don't respond.
I ordered a rod on March 12. TackleDirect posted a status update March 13 indicating a shipping label had been created. That was the last update. It seem that TackleDirect created the label, but may have never actually shipped the rod or it would have been scanned somewhere in the USPS system. Now TackleDirect is not responding to email inquiries related to the rod. Lost? Still in inventory? TackleDirect isn't responding.
I ordered a reel on March 14 and it arrived quickly on March 18. That was great. TackleDirect seems to be halfway OK.
I ordered a fishing rod on april 15. It's now may 11th and I still have not gotten it I checked the order status and it says pending review. I sent an email and no response. Tried calling 3 times no answer. First and last time I order from here. I know it's the covid 19 right now but I received my mystery tackle box and an order from tackle warehouse no problem.
I've been waiting for an exchange of a zucchini STARBOARD tracker for over a month every time I call to check on my order I get the same B's the company is still making it. They said it would be there on the 25th BULL S#@T it shouldn't take over a month to put together a spreader bar 20 squids. There service stinks
I waited close to 2 months for my item. Every time I called I was told it was backordered, and I should receive it in about 5 days.
Finally, after about 2 months they refunded me and stated they don't produce it anymore, and they can't get it. This is even though today its site says 10+ available from their venders.
I then noticed Home Depot had it, and actually for a lower price. I ordered it through them, and shocked I received it 3 days later.
If I would've known that, I would've ordered directly from Home Depot from the beginning.
Last, I would attach my order, however, TackleDirect just list my order (*******) as processing and waiting review.
I ordered 20 packs of 6 inch pumpkin seed lizards on May 21. They sent me a confirmation on the 22nd that it was shipped! There was no tracking number to check status! As of today june 12th i have not received anything! I have sent emails with no response, i have called them several times and got a answering machine! I now had to order this tackle from another place! Two fishing trips without the order i paid for and just disgusted! I understand delays with the coronavirus, but if you could at least get ahold of someone and get some information i could deal with that! I don't even know if i got robbed or not! I don't want anyone else to have to through this and possibly spend more money than i! After looking at the reviews i see a lot more people going through the same problem i have with this company! Save yourself the grief!
I've tried to get someone to talk to me about my order. Three emails with no response. They took the money on May 4th and I've still not heard anything. This place is a scam. BUYER BEWARE!

Originally gave one star, am upgrading to 3 stars based on finally getting my items but really poor customer service. I originally placed a simple order, 4 fishing tackle items, nothing online to indicate any weren't in stock. After 2 weeks, I received half the order, but the rest showed back ordered. All items are available locally, should have just bought over the counter. Received no response from their customer service after two tries, spent over an hour on hold waiting for someone to pick up the phone on their call line, and sent multiple emails asking where my remaining order is sitting, no response. Am glad this was a relatively small order. Was set to order a bunch more till I started reading their reviews. Common thread was poor customer service. I finally received my trailing items, but weeks after ordering. Maybe Tackle Direct isn't staffed appropriately to handle problems, however this is something they need to remedy. Will do my future shopping from a supplier like Cabelas or Bass Pro with a more established customer service base. Not worth the aggravation to save a buck or two.
For the second time they have divided my order and then overcharged what the total should have been. I have been on hold for more than 30 minutes to try to resolve this issue over the phone.
Answer: Yes, other companies I have used for online purchases are much better with communications and customer service.
