Of course I am not getting paid for this endorsement, or have they offered to give me any discounts. With you knowing this. I would like to at least get some type of discount from tackle direct as they have excellent products and I do buy from them when I need tackle which should be more often since I have just purchased a power boat. I was a kayak fisher for some 20 yrs and want to get into something that will allow me to fish area's farther away from my usual places here on Merritt Island. This is a company you can trust and have no issues with receiving my purchases and feel confident in this company. Tight lines!
I love tackle direct, they're the only source I buy from online. They crush the local guys and big box stores. Customer service is quick and attentive. Might be cool to see a different tier system for their rewards points(platinum member, gold member, silver member etc) depending on how much is bought
Slight delay in shipping but more than understandable given all that is going on in current enviroment. Quick, easy and delivered exactly what I had ordered. Tracking update emails were helpful. About as easy as it gets. Thank you and good job!
Site would not recognize any credit card I tried Kept getting a message saying "credit card number does not match selected card type". Have ordered in the past with no issues. Tried contacting customer service, but after an hour on hold, had to give up. Wound up using the Amazon pay option on your website.
I always try to buy from my local tackle shops to support them and get very important intel.
But, occasionally they don't have what I'm looking for so tackle direct has come through again. Easy to order, fair pricing and came quickly.
Turn around time was very unsatisfactory. After making test orders to see how the orders were serviced...I made several other orders with 2 industry competitors, and received all these orders before I received the items I ordered from TD to include orders made weeks later. They have the same market conditions based on world events and I have chosen to discontinue ordering from TD even if price is better (which I haven't seen price a factor...TD has actually cost more on average after shipping). Thank you for requesting feedback and I hope this helps future customers get served better.
The last 2-3 orders I have not received all the items I initially purchased. They were either on back order or something. It just sucks that it doesn't tell me straight up that it's out of stock. Because I'm expecting it and then I get a email a day two days later saying oh we don't have those items. So now I'm like well

Nice variety of products at very reasonable prices. Only issue was product(s) availability on a couple items I really needed but luckily was able to push my trip back a little until I got them. However, considering current state of the country this is understandable.

I had halfway decent customer service on the first few orders, but on the two highest dollar orders( #' -******* & *******), I have sent several requests for information, with no response. The combined total of these two orders = $ 986.87. Could someone from your 'customer service ' dept. please call me at (228) - 623 - 8051 so that we can discuss these orders. I still want the ( poles & reels), but if I need change, or upgrade I'm more than willing to discuss the options.
The shopping and checkout experience were all fine, but after creating an account clicking 'Login' at the checkout screen did nothing. I'm still not sure if I received any reward points. Other than that the experience was no big hassle.
Great place to shop for fishing tackle and apparel. An asset to Atlantic County and local community. Lots of items you won't find in other fishing stores or shops. Nice variety at different price points. Efficient ordering processes, knowledgeable and pleasant staff that fish for everything from freshwater to inshore salt to the canyons - and they are pumped up to do talk fishing.
Was happy with the product but found the follow up automated message about back ordering confusing. This effected my delivery time. I would have preferred a personalised email (genuine customer service) explaining why there would be a delay and when I could expect my order. Instead, I had to make contact with your company to get clarity on this.
I haven't tried the 2 Quantum reels I purchased from Tackle Direct, but will soon. The special price was amazing, I purchased one for my experienced angler Brother. We both look forward to using them and will keep you posted on how they do.
Low prices, order received in a timely manner, I just prefer when I receive an email about products I've ordered that the item be listed not just the order number so i dont have to waste time jumping through hoops just to find out what tackle direct is referencing. To me that's a deal breaker cause that's just wasting my valuable time. I'd rather purchase elsewhere if that's how it is. Maybe it's my fault due to the fact I've just now created an actual account. We'll see.

I would have given a higher score but the tracking system was not available or working. A message was listed on the website stating system upgrades were in progress. I received my new 7' Betts net and I'm very pleased with your prices and delivery promptness. After maybe 50 or more practice casts in my yard, I noticed several bad places where the net has separated. Although I could've attempted a repair, I'd rather have a replacement.
I emailed you and your response made me feel like you'd take the net back holding your nose. That really didn't sit very well with me as a first-time customer. I learned my lesson on 'new and unused' returns. It made me reconsider ordering from you in the future.
Answer: Yes, other companies I have used for online purchases are much better with communications and customer service.
