T-Mobile Reviews Summary

T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

I closed my T-Mobile account in May of 2022. I paid off the phone and all the lines on the account in full, soon after that I started receiving bills for an account that was supposedly closed down. I called customer service and the issue was solved and, they gave me a credit in the account. But then I kept receiving bills in the mail, even after I got the credit back. I even went into the store because I called customer service and they said they were unable to help me resolve it over the phone, I went to the store and they couldn't help me and told me to call customer service which I had already done numerous times. Which is very unprofessional and I was basically put on a wild goose chase. This is the worst experience I've had with a company in my whole entire life. They just sent me a "final notice" of $404.09 and deactivated my account which was closed in May. They also keep threatening to send me to a collection agency and credit bureau.

Le at Three Rivers
January 7, 2023

I called first telling Le that I was having trouble with frontier and I am a current TMobile customer so I wanted to get different internet. He explained it to me and I went up to check it out. He already had it up to the counter. Getting my information he set it up for me as I didn't really want to worry if it would work or not after working all day. All I had to do is plug it in in just a couple of minutes it loaded up and it was running. Just by plugging in the power cord. Thank you Le.

They lie
January 6, 2023

Don't believe anything they tell you. They lied to me to get my business, then lied to keep my business, lied about prices, lied about contracts, then lied about lying! I had to pay or else they threatened me with locking my devices and collection agencies. They are evil!

T-mobile is a joke and only care about money

There are credit cards out there that will help u more than this dumb piece of $#*! place!
$#*! t-mobile, they say how the customer is always right but now they can't understand or have empathy for anything. I got T-Mobile before I became homeless and they wanted me to send back this Box with my phone in it so I didn't have to pay out a pocket as much. Well I had no way to send it because I was homeless I didn't have no address or anything. And now they have it on my credit stating its collections and the only way to pay it now they're saying is payments of a 100 and some dollars a month when I told them that that's as much as a car payment and I am not working right now. They sat here and told me that if I don't pay before January next month they're gonna take me to court for a phone. So I Spoke to someone higher up and explain to him everything and he told me that he didn't believe that his coworker said that they would take me to court. I said what happened to customers always being right. He was like well when they don't pay no matter the circumstances you're no longer right. So screw the person that I was speaking to because supposedly He don't believe that the coworker told me that they were gonna take me to court. That coworkerwas arguing with me or the phone, how professional. I even told her I would put something down each month and they wouldn't accept it at all. If it wasn't there amount they refused it. Even when I told them I would pay it off when I got my taxes! I cant believe someone would stoop this low for a phone. I have no way on getting this off my credit. And they just wanna be rude no matter how hard I try to work with them!

So my husband and I go to a t-mobile store even though employees were pleasant and very nice, that's because they wanted us to buy the phones, But they lie and don't tell you the truth of how it works and then you see the consequences after the fact. They really don't value the customers that have been there for 11+ years so it turns out that my husband wanted I-Phone 14 Pro- Max so they offered $800 for a trade and we said ok he did say that we need to go to the magenta max plan and we said ok since we were getting 3 phones. So then the bill comes and it turns out that they are charging us all the phones there is no promotions I tried calling numerous times and nothing, they said they were going to do an investigation because i told them to check the cameras at the store were I was promised a promotion, Reading all the reviews it turns out that a lot of people have gone through the same issue with not getting promotions. But you know what I'm going to do I'm going to take my business elsewhere we do auto pay for those 11+ years our money is always there and this is how they treat us. They are getting customer service rep that are hard to understand and can't explain what happened, Verizon here we come. BYE T-MOBILE

After repeated visits to store in Elkhart and numerous phone calls to T-Mobile in Elkhart and to T-Mobile customer service we are unable to get the program they offered us. We were to get two free phones with the trade ins we gave them and pay $70.00 plus fees for the service. We have been paying $146.00 per month. When we questioned them about it, they said it is normal for it to take a couple of months to recieve the credit for our phones. That was 4 months ago.

This company has complete disregard for their customers they just don't care, I was a sprint customer with no contract for over 20 years, very satisfied TMobile enters the picture and it became a nightmare, when I cancelked my account they said I didn't owe anything, to my surprise 6 month later they sent a collections letter which I am disputing. I hate T-Mobile and hope they go broke! Beware do not do business with them. Daniel, Dallas Texas

I was a loyal customer of T mobile for many years paying a $35 fee very month for a hotspot so I could connect to the internet while on the train to work. Then Covid came, and commuting to work stopped. I stopped using my hotspot. I didn't renew my Amtrak credit card which has a large annual fee and forgot about the hotspot. Years later I tried to use the hotspot and it didn't work. T mobile told me they had suspended my account because of non-payment. I called up t mobile and they said I had to walk into a store. I did and they said I had to get a new plan with a new sim card which I did. A few weeks later I got a $100 bill from T mobile for my old plan. They threatened to ruin my credit if I didn't pay and to contact a collection agency. I called them up and explained what happened and pointed out that I hadn't used their service for the time they were billing me for and that my account had been suspended anyway so I couldn't use their service even if I wanted to. Customer service would not budge. In fact they told me over the phone that were raising my fee (even though my account was suspended) and I had to pay more than $100 and that since I wanted them to cancel the account I had to pay a special $10.00 cancellation fee in addition. Every time I complained that it wasn't fair they put me on hold for 10 minutes or more. After 2 hours on the phone they finally cancelled both my accounts. My credit card changed a long time ago yet I never received any messages about missing payments until after I created a new account. If they had send me a message when I missed a month it would have reminded me to pay before the bill got up to $100.00.

They've had her on the phone for 3 hours, told her they could lower her bill with NO changes, and then took away our tv cable and DVR's. She is now just trying to get what she had back and they're up pricing for what she already had and that they took without her knowledge.

NO GOOD
January 5, 2023

Had for 2 years and for the last few months service went to zero internet most of the time and i live in a town of about 75 and they blame it on congestion (lol) customer service has been lying saying enhancements are coming and then another says they show no enhancements coming, i can see a little congestion but not to the point that i have no service from about 8pm to 8am or more everyday, please consider other options for internet if not you will be so dissapointed.

Horrible!
January 2, 2023

Went and bought 3 phones yesterday. Then we got the stupid 5G internet don't do it! It does not work. We paid $35 and they told us we up to 14 days we can return it no problem. They failed to tell us about the restocking fee. So paid 70 for something that does not work. They told us we signed up under a promotion of 25 they would refund us that. We did not pay 25 we paid 70 how does this make any sense. The customer service person said we would have to go back to the store to get refund. We were just there he did not help at all. Don't buy the WiFi it sucks such a scam. $70 for trash!

Customer service
January 1, 2023

I have had nothing but issues with the billing department and their lack of knowledge. I have spoke to several representatives regarding my monthly bill and what I wanted changed. Spent 2 hours on the phone with one of T-MOBILE reps from what country I have no idea. I finally hung up. My tmobile bill for December was $92 and now I was notified that my January pmnt will be $114. MENTALLY I am to tired to deal with anyone from tmobile. The only thing I can do now is to stop my auto pay. Maybe when they send me to collections someone that speaks English will call me.

T mobile has the worst customer service and will not help you if you have any problems with any your cell phone or i phone regarding your service. I was on hold with t mobile's customer service for almost two hours today waiting to talk with them. I also went to two t mobile stores to get help. So 7 hours later i am finally cancelled with them. I will tell everyone i know how horrible this company is. We had bought a 1 year service for our cell phone. They did not mention that we had agreed to a contract them. After our year was up for this 1 year service. I bought a 1 phone from another company. T mobile kept charging me for the cell phone i was no longer using. No one at t mobile would help me to get this resolved. I would never buy anything from this company again. They will take your money easy. There sales people are very rude when you are trying to get help. This company are thieves and very dishonest. Stay from this company! I want to help others with my advise so you do not get stung like i did. I will never buy anything from them again.
