I love my charcoal flecks donegal tweed jacket from studiosuits.
My compliments were extended to all involved for the excellent execution of my order.
I had been looking for a Tweed jacket like this for quite some time and StudioSuits made it happen. They figuratively and literally delivered!
I am exceedingly pleased with quality of their product, service, will return for additional purchases, and will definitely recommend StudioSuits to others.
One reason I use StudioSuits is the incredible selection of fabrics. The one I chose for my suit is an absolute killer. I loaded on the options, and the tab was still under $400. The workmanship was impeccable. I'll surely buy from them again
I ordered a lycra/cotton blend three piece suit with all the nice options. The suit arrived in three weeks and it was beyond ridiculous in how badly made and ill fitting it was. The fabric is thick enough to be a ranch coat. The vest comes down to thee inches below my belt. The arm holes are so small that my arms don't even fit in comfortably ( and Im no body builder)
As if all this wasn't bad enough, the sewing is sloppy and the jacket is too tight.
I exchanged 5 emails with the company and they twice requested pictures (see attached) and each time I wrote assigned a different "review number" Their best offer was to "remake" the suit for 1/2 price. No suggestions regarding re-measurement or possible corrections.
This is a terrible company and they make junk.
We were very pleased with the workmanship excellent work with the measurements I gave them were right on the money.
I will continue to order all my husbands clothing from them from now on.
The items that I ordered were a great surprise for my husband's birthday he was very surprised he couldn't understand why I was measuring him initially...
I purchased the dark brown herringbone in winterweight material. Extraordinary quality!
I had been searching worldwide to get what I wanted... which was a classic 3-peice suit reminiscent of the 1930s or 40s. The communication with this "suit maker" was impressive... as I was more than "picky." Sent them some photos... and my measurements... and everything was "spot on!" No slim or skinny fit for me... I wanted CLASSIC... a la Humphry Bogart & James Cagney. I GOT IT! Nice cuffs in the pants... pleated, of course. The goldish paisley lining was most impressive. And, I must say, the price is fair given the quality... probably the BEST SUIT you'll ever own... at least when it comes to the UNMATCHED TWEED HERRINGBONE... and again... the WEIGHT (for winter) is something I've never seen... and I been to NYC, Washington, DC... and have ordered suit from the UK (only to find that they were made in China of inferior quality. BOTTOM LINE: Without reservation, my HIGHEST recommendation.
I ordered several items and some were good but some had problems that made them unwearable and the company wouldn't address the problems. I would have ordered more from them if they had better customer service.
Fairly stylish, easy website, good pricesit all went from good to bad for ne reason: they became popular and rather than enjoy this newfound popularity, they decided to raise prices, treat people as they were stylistically unsophisticated and just generally treat people badlynot a good way to go. I would have bought many, many more suits. So good luck, enjoy this moment of people buying because looking at these reviews, i realize I am not alone.
I'm an American who wears suits regularly.
I have purchased many pair of pants from this company.
None of them have fit perfectly and have needed alterations from my local tailor.
The fabric is exactly what they have on the websites.
I have ordered many many fabric samples from studio suits.
Each pair of pants I have ordered is the exact same material of the fabric samples.
I will make a follow up review
I ordered my first (2) dinner jackets from studio suits.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the fabrics use on the pants I ordered- in fact they're fantastic fabrics.
We will see how well they do with the dinner jackets that I've ordered
I mean really for the price who cares? Give it a shot
I can't believe all the whiny crybaby reviews My God Americans are such $#*!...
The first couple suits I bought from StudioSuits had minor sizing issues, but I chalked that up to errors measuring on my part. When time came to get my first double-breasted suit, I still had enough confidence in them to place the order through their site.
To their credit, it showed up in a good, comfortable fit... But in less than 12 hours, buttons were actually falling off of the suit as I traveled! I was crushed, especially at the money I paid. I put in a complaint through Paypal, which I then had to chase them over email for weeks to follow up on.
They sent me buttons, but outright refused to pay any duties for the replacement buttons, and would only agree to store credit for the cost of alterations. Only after I refused repeatedly to end my Paypal dispute did they agree to my terms (very reasonable, under $20 reimbursement!) But then as soon as I closed the Paypal dispute, they stopped responding altogether.
BUYER BEWARE.
I am a bulk buying shopper. When I discover a great store I have a tendency to look No futher. StudioSuits is thst great place. I have bought two wool blazers and two three leather blazers. This place is heaven on earth for me. I am actually in the process of buying a green db blazer. Stunning, Simply Stunning attire. Made for the well dressed person
I expected a lot when ordered from Studio Suits. When my suit came, all expectations were surpassed! Quality, design and materials used are incredible! Not to forget to mention excellent communication maintained through process. Definitely will buy again from Studio Suits :)
I ordered one shirt as a trial, which included numerous non-standard details and measurements requested by me. My special requirements were accommodated without fuss and for the standard price. I was very pleased with the final result and will proceed to order more.
The suit I ordered for my wedding is top notch. The suit looks so damn good on me my future wife couldn't keep her hands off me. Also my future father in law also has decided to order a suit for himself as well. Great job everyone!
Apprehension turned to realization with my suit which was correct in size & fabric.
I needed to change a couple of measurements after ordering & the correct sizes were used. The suit was made in quick time with very good tailoring.
I would have no hesitation in ordering again. Well done Studio Suits!
Well made custom clothes an excellent price. Delivery is quick and efficient. Clothes fit well. I have paid a lot more for poor quality designer clothes.
First off, they did make and ship the suit quickly... however, there are numerous issues with the suit. First, the pants were made WAY too large. I ordered a 36" waist, and what I received is a pair of pants with a 37.5" waist. They nearly fall off of me! The thighs are very baggy as well, and I ordered the slim taper. The seat was also sent in a 16.25" measurement when I ordered a 15.25", so they are baggy in the seat as well. They just fit terrible. The jacket it just as bad. I ordered a slim fit jacket and it has absolutely no taper at all. It fits me like a bag. The sleeves were made 1/2" short as well, so the sleeves ride too short. I also ordered 2.5" lapels, and what I received are 3" lapels. It also looks like there are rolls of fabric at the tops of the sleeves in the shoulders... makes you look like the good witch from The Wizard of Ozz.
The vest is no better. Baggy around the waste even when tightened up. Did the maker even look at the measurements? I understand these aren't expensive suits, but if I submit measurements I at least expect the suit to fit properly. The wedding is this weekend, so I now there's nothing I can do before then. I can't see myself ever wearing this or ever ordering from Studio Suits again if this can't be made right. I also ordered a "slim fit" dress shirt. I have literally never put on a more ill fitting dress shirt in my life. It, again, fits like a bag. Just horrible.
I ordered five items. Two came in the mail, the pants being the wrong size. I contacted Studiosuits, and they insisted that they had made the waist the correct size - 36". But, I can't put them on. I laid them out, and they clearly measure 33". Studiosuits still insisted they had sent me 36" pants.
The other three items never shipped. I asked for a refund, and never heard anything - had to ask my credit card company to cancel the transaction.
First of all, I searched extensively around the web for a reliable company that I could trust to get my suit from.
I ended up picking Studio Suit, because the photos of their suits looked so good and it gave me some peace of mind. How wrong was I...
I went through the measurement process, sent the measurements out with the transaction. The first answer wasn't "Thank you for choosing us", but instead they were rude and stated my measurements were wrong and I would first need a trial suit they would sell me for a 100$.
I rechecked my measurements and confirmed they were right, to which they simply replied all sales are final.
The suit arrived like in 10 days, which for a custom suit coming from INDIA (yes they don't say anywhere on the website where they're from, shady) is already concerning, custom made and shipped in 10 days...
What I received was a cheap fabric suit which has no label of whatsoever material is made of. The hamming was extremely poorly done, the two shoulders were visibly different, the ankles stitching visible from afar. The fit was a disaster, at least two sizes bigger. The only thing that worked was the size at the ankle for which I insisted and they thought I was wrong.
They clearly have no idea of what a good fit is. Mind, I showed the suit to three different people in the business and they all told me the same thing: cheap material, you can't fix it, it's done terribly. They took an already made suit, messed with it on the the details I insisted on and shipped it.
There's no quality, no care, no craftsmanship. DEFINITELY NOT A CUSTOM MADE product. It's a straight up scam. Please beware
I ordered a linen suit for my wedding. I wrote to the company and asked for a replacement. They made me jump through some of the same hoops other writers report including sending photos etc. They appear to use template email responses when replying based on others comments here. In the end they told me I was stuck with the suit and to get it altered locally. After spending another $150 at a local tailor who did her best to make it fit, this suit is destined for the garbage can. FYI I contacted my credit card company who at first gave me my money back. StudioSuits must have lots of experience in dealing with this situation as they successfully strong armed the credit card company into reversing their decision. I feel truly ripped off. Please don't shop here. Take your money elsewhere...
I was nervous about ordering from a company I'm not familiar with, but I'm glad I trusted my gut. My custom White & Black Tux/Dinner Jacket and Pants was very nice and tailor perfectly. I recommend anybody to purchase suits or Tux from this company. The materials they use are magnificent.
Answer: You cannot call these folks. They do not provide a phone number
Answer: Agreed! Please remove it. This company is a scam and is misleading people
Answer: It takes about 1 month but mostly due to shipping. I was unsure as i never ordered a suit online. From my experience it was a huge mistake. And to add insult to injury the company want more monies to fix their mistakes. My recommendation is to read reviews outside the boundaries of the company. Seems obvious but necessary
Answer: Was your suit ever delivered to you? I am interested in purchasing a suit from Studio Suits. And how long did it take?
Answer: Bad choice: They sell Donegal Tweed, but they deliver some sub-standard wool fabric. No fit, no proper construction, cannot even do a proper shoulder line. Dreadful.
