I had 154.00 dollars in my cart. When at check out I only had 25.40 off. I called customer service and was told that the 50% off is off the original price not the price listed. If a company needs to be sneaky with their sales to get customers to purchase what does that say about then?

I love city chic's selection and was delighted when I discovered them. However, if something goes wrong with your order, don't expect them to make it right. My order never arrived (I have to pay for shipping because I'm in Canada) and the customer service was appalling. It took them almost a full month to deal with. First they advise they'll arrange for a replacement package (great!), then they advise they're out of stock, then they advise they won't provide a refund and will only provide gift cards. I feel completely ripped off and it seems like they are making their poor logistics systems customers' problems and I'm out of pocket more than $350 (Canadian).

While I like their product, there is no way I will endorse them.

I almost feel like there must be 2 sites with the same name because my experience does not match others. Shipping was fast, return process was fast for one item (nothing wrong with it just looking for something in particular and the other item was perfect). Fit was great. Quality is on par for the price I paid, which was not full price. I even ordered another outfit for work and it shipped fast too. My experience thus far has been very pleasant. I was skeptical but after trying so many places they had what I needed at a price my wallet was happy with so I took a gamble. Glad I did!

I've never had any issues with this company, or the clothing I've purchased in the last 8 months. Everything I have bought has been online and their service has been an 11/10 - absolutely faultless. Deliveries from Aus to NZ have been within 14 working days, and the parcels arrive well packaged. I had a minor issue with one of the coats I purchased. The colour wasn't what I had hoped for so I contacted support and they quickly dealt with the matter. I was given a discount for my next order as I was a little disappointed with the colour. However, I was very pleased with the outcome. And I kept the gorgeous coat! City Chic dresses are classy and beautifully made. I've never had any issues with sizing/fitting with any of their items. I have an awkward curvy very pear-shaped body (14 top 22/24 bottom). City Chic is unbelievably cheap for the quality! There are not many plus size clothing outlets that can boast the variety City Chic have. I'm so glad I found them. My wardrobe looks divine!

I placed an order for a few things. I got some of the order but not all of the order. When I contacted them they said they were sorry that I never got it. I asked for a refund, they said they would only give me credit! Even though it was not my fault at all they refused to give me back my money. So after many emails I finally got a certificate to use for the amount owed, over 51$! Well, the numbers on the certificate do not work. When I wrote and complained again that it did not work they asked for a screen shot of the certificate. That was at least two weeks ago and NOTHING! My advice is to never order from these people because they sure do not know how to run a business or have even decent customer service!

Placed an order which was shipped to an incorrect address... finally after days they reship it as a COURTESY to me only to find out that it was never shipped! Now awaiting yet another review to find out where my items are... Bunch of liars... don't ever order from them. You will never receive your merchandise!

My first order on this website and loved all the products, was great to have some pretty lingerie for bigger sizes.
Two of the bras were surprisingly big though so needed to return.
Unless you can return to a store ( I am in the South Island of New Zealand and they are only in Christchurch) so I have the choice to drive 5hrs or courier them tracked to Australia costing $65! The bras were on special $40 each so not worth doing it for the difference of $15 refund.
When I wrote an email asking if I could return them to the Auckland warehouse the package came from, I was told they don't have one and they were sorry I'd have to drive 5hrs to nearest store.
It's a shame as lovely lingerie, but I won't risk ordering again in case I'd need to return.
I order a lot on line and have always had an option to return to a NZ address or postage is covered.
Time for City Chic to get with the program... welcome to 2022

Think twice about buying from this company. They will send you a defective garment and not disclose it was defective, while claiming it was a final sale. Doesn't say final sale on my order any where. They then refused a refund. I will never shop with them again.

I do not recommend for you to buy from city chic nz online. The quality of the clothing was so poor I spent $250 and 1 item arrived with a rip in the middle of the crutch area. The scuffs I purchased was only worn 2 times and the studs in them fell off. The dress I brought, the strap does not tighten it was poorly made. The shorts I brought looked like it was off temu or SHEIN. Im so disappointed. Then the customer service would not refund my money back and rather gave me a gift card so I have to buy more of this crap. Im not happy customer.

City Chic has the best customer service. I never got an email on when my item was shipping with a tracking number, I emailed their customer service line, received a reply within 5 min with my tracking number and $20 off my next purchase. I will forever shop at City Chic!

I have bought bras from the Hips & Curves section of City Chic a couple of times. The first time, most of the bras fit great and I'm still wearing them, but I needed some new bras. I'd lost a bunch of weight and needed a smaller size (but NOT smaller cup size). I bought the next size down and this time they were way too small - both around and cup size. So I ordered the same size I already was wearing - and these were also too small - both around and cup size. I spent $200 on bras that don't fit.

I love the bras, they are beautiful… and its hard to find sexy bras in large cup sizes… but they mostly don't fit. There is no consistency in the sizing. One D size cup fits, the other size D is way too small. A 38 might fit but the 40 is too small?

Due to being in a federal disaster zone, I missed the 30-day return time and couldn't send them back, so I'm out $200. They were better before they became City Chic.

This company is incompetent and can not ship to Canada in a timely manner. Ordered March 4th and was delivered back to shipper March 11. Told order was resent March 17 but went out March 21, that order was returned to the shipper AGAIN and was to be delivered to me March 25, but wouldn't you know it... sent back to the shipper. This order was outfits for my husband's funeral and now I don't have time to go look for another outfit. Extremely disappointed in this company and have been lied to now so many times since March 4th that I truly believe this company does not care about customers.

Let's start off that, I never go to these lengths to post bad reviews. I take my losses and keep it moving but they have pissed me off! This is my second time ordering and they screwed up royally. They messed my order up and sent it to the wrong apartment number. I reached out about hr after and they told me to reach out to DHL, I reached out to DHL who advised that they were only the transporter and not the deliverer of the package, I reach out to City Chic customer service again for 4 days and was promised a resolution, I even offered to repurchase or have they sent me another package and pay for shipping and they assured me a " specialist " would call or email me no response. Yesterday someone said they escalated again and a manager would call me still no response. I'm going to the BBB because this is outrageous. BTW I have all the chats that support my issue. They have ruined my graduation.

Horrible company, never get your clothing and customer service LIES; I am in Canada and asked them where my order was i. E. still in the U.S. or has it travelled across the border yet and was ASSURED it was in Canada en route to me. I DOUBLE asked 'Please confirm it is on the Canadian side' and was told yes again. Just got an update from DHL, the company they used for deliveries, that is was in Illinois today. SAVE YOUR MONEY. This company is a scam!

I'd give less than a star if this site would allow it. For 25 days I was led to believe I'd receive what i paid for & after a long email trail, learned no resolution was going to happen. Once I fired off an email to finally vent how unsatisfactory this company's practices are, I was messaged a response with a $20 voucher to a future purchase. Ridiculous that their idea of customer service is to string the consumer along, not offer explanations to their actions & then go "here's a coupon for the next time you want to olay this game with us again". As if. Taking my business elsewhere from here on out.

I made an order then realized I needed to cancel the Oder because it was incorrect. They wouldn't cancel it for me after a couple hrs of ordering. They sent the pkg off then rerouted back to themselves but still no refund. I start a complaint with my bank and they have contacted them to refund. Still nothing after 2 weeks. I call them and they say if I don't drop dispute with bank it will effect my refund. It was a $400 order. I'm am not dropping dispute because they have not refunded my money. They do everything not to refund.

Ordered a top from The Bay and it came directly from City Chic. The style, colour, design and size were perfect. Very happy with the top. Looking for more to order.

I placed an order on June 14th 2021 for an upcoming trip I paid for expedite shipping. On June 22 I recieve an Email stating that 5 out of 7 of my items were actually out of stock! Finally today June 29 I received my 2 out of 7 items. Both were extremely wrinkled and one reeks of what smells like vinegar. I am livid There is no time return or go shopping again. This is beyond unacceptable. This is my first time writing a review. I'm very easy to please. I'm so upset
