The service in Canada is so bad... The website shows US Dollars but with very limioted or no tip that it is US dollar not Canadian dollar.

When you visit www.studentuniverse.com and search flights, we do display a message "Prices are per person in US Dollar and are inclusive of all taxes" and another one at the end of the search result page. At the checkout page, we show "Total cost (USD)" by the total amount. However, if you wish to pay in CAD, you could visit our Canadian website: www.studentuniverse.ca.
I was directed to this service by an outside booking website. Becuase an airline website was down, Student Universe sent me a follow-up email saying that the booking "could not be completed", and to wait and book with the airline. As that was the communication, I waited until the following day, and booked my flight through the airline website. I then received communication that they had processed the flight anyways. I have appealed this several times and did not receive a refund, though I paid for the same flight twice. They have passed me off to try to deal with the airline instead.
