I had an outstanding experience with Tôrrēcît. ćôm. From start to finish, the team was clear, responsive, and truly supportive. They walked me through every step, which made a stressful situation far more manageable. Their honesty and transparent communication really stood out. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable assistance.
After so many communications, emails, mails, requests, etc... they are still keeping my money- a legitimate income. 180 days clearing period? FALSE. How about 731 days and counting?
I integrated Stripe into my new U.S.-registered digital publishing company (Columbia Publishing LLC) in June 2025. Within 2 weeks, we received 3 legitimate client payments totaling ~$7,000. These were verified, high-ticket payments — including 3D Secure authorization and client consent forms. Despite zero disputes or chargebacks, Stripe abruptly shut down our account on July 1st, claimed we were "high risk," and began refunding payments without our consent. They also withheld $3,399.22 in cleared funds and referred vaguely to "Section 5.6" without explaining how it applied. I submitted all necessary documentation — EIN, LLC registration, signed contracts, and client approval — but Stripe gave only generic, templated responses. No actual review ever seemed to take place. This has severely damaged our operations, finances, and client trust. After 4 years of using Stripe under other companies with no issues, this one-month experience under my own LLC was the worst I've seen. We've filed formal complaints with the CFPB (ID **************) and BBB. Stripe's behavior is unacceptable for any business that values stability and transparency.
I reached out to Stripe multiple times regarding a double charge issue related to my X Premium subscription. Initially, a person named Sahil, who I assumed was Arabic, replied to my messages. I ended my last communication by saying that if he was indeed Arabic, it would help clarify the issue. However, the management transferred my case to someone else, apologizing that they do not support Arabic. It became clear to me that this was a policy issue—they were not showing empathy for my situation simply because I was communicating in Arabic. The responses I received were consistent in implying that the problem was related to a single subscription. They did not acknowledge the technical error that resulted in the double charge. By the end of the communication, their final response was both strange and absurd. They claimed that the first charge was for the purchase, and the second charge was for the renewal, which does not explain the error or the duplicate charges in any meaningful way.
These guys are CLOWNS! My business was "verified" by them, and no problem for 2 years. And then suddenly they require me to "verify" my business AGAIN. SO I try and do that, but they, for some reason, question that I am the ONLY Director for my company, incorporated in 2005. So I send a copy of the Annual Report, that lists the company directors, and that is not good enough for them. I have asked them to tell me why they do not believe that I am the only director - PROVE somehow that there is another director, but they can't and won't and so now my account is suspended - and for what? Who cares if there is another Director - which there isn't. Why do they think I am not the sole Director of my company, which bears my name?! I have chatted, and emailed, and uploaded forms, and they still won't budge, or show any reason why they think there would be other directors. And why does that matter or pose a security risk to anyone anyway? These guys are foolish, invasive, dishonest clowns with their "security". Well, I disconnect my website from Woopayments/Stripe with a single click, and go back to using only PayPal... who has never had the nerve to make me REVERIFY an existing business, or give a rat's about directors or other such nonsense. How can STRIPE question a business that they have previously "verified"? Who do these guys think that they are? Foolish CLOWNS, that's who!
Any payment processor is better these clowns will accept your business then close your account after you start making money and essentially seize it destroying your business. They blocked my account more then year ago & still didn't refund my money! Obviously Stripe scamming company! Be aware
Stripe holding my funds for more then 90 days …
Stripe holding my funds for more then 90 days and the max time limit has been passed according to the EU debit card and credit card policy for refund and dispute... The day stripe closed my account was 26 January 2024, so In total it's 90 days passed.
As it's been 90 days the stripe still not responding and not giving proper reason or answer regarding my holdings balance.
I looking for payout from stripe after 90 days but I was wrong as they don't care about there customers who run the business.
Thanks
I strongly advise against using Stripe for your payment processing needs. This company is incredibly careless and unprofessional. They have a habit of charging your customers' payments, but when issues arise, they completely ignore you. Their customer service is non-existent, and they will not respond to any inquiries or attempt to resolve problems. On top of that, I've experienced what seems like fraudulent behavior – they take the money and leave you stranded. Don't waste your time with them. There are far better and more reliable payment processors out there.
SMALL BUSINESSES, do NOT trust stripe for merchant services. This company does not protect your money. We had a relstionship with Stripe for years, with several completed transactions, and we never had a chargeback. One day we got a unauthorized payment dispute of more than $1,600 from a client we helped 3 months prior to the dispute. Stripe immediately refunded the money to fraudulent client, and charged our account. Do not trust Stripe. You are not protected from even the most obvious fraud.
Furthermore, out of nowhere they started charging us random fees [additional taxes, invoice fees]. These random fees came and as we werent using their merchant services.
I would strongly recommend not using Stripe. I have an online store they allowed 2 transactions to go thru which were fraud. Luckily the third party website suspended these buyers for suspicious activity. I looked at the transactions and 2 people were trying to purchase $1500 and $1000 worth of jewelry. One showed as an elevated risk yet they allowed them to go thru, even with no CVC being entered. Looking at previous transactions that were blocked all these transactions were using Regions Bank cards with expiration dates in 2027 and probably made up names. I contacted support to let them know these were fraud and the red flags I noticed with them and was told I did not have to proceed with the transactions. I refunded both but 1 was already sent to my bank so I had to wait for the money to go back to Stripe to complete the refund. In the meantime 1 cardholder opened a dispute which stopped the refund process. On top of their processing fees I am also out $15 for the chargeback. When called to discuss the fees I am told there is nothing they can do. They allowed the CC charges to go thru and now I am out over $100 for fees and have to also get the taxes back from the third party website for the orders. Would not recommend as they take no accountability for allowing fraud to occur on their site, but were happy to collect the fees.
Warning: Beware of stripe scam. I fell victim to a $30,000 loss with them, and their customer support is unresponsive to my inquiries. Fortunately, Traderep0rt.0rg assisted me rec0ver my lost investments from stripe
They literally steal money under false pretenses and when you try to get support you will never get it.
Their customer support is the biggest joke I ever heard
I will keep expose them so no body will had too deal with them
Go ANYWHERE else but StripeAvoid this platform at all costs. They actively aided and abetted a company who not only defrauded over 15 of my own clients, but are currently under investigation by the FTC. They, without notice, after 20 years of being in business and at least 5 years using Stripe, reclassified my business on the farudster's reccomendation and shut down my payments. Not only that, I had 1 refund request in 7 years and they withheld 10% of all trasactions for close to a year. If you want your money locked up and your business abused and payments shut down, definitely go with Stripe. If you want your business to be treated with integrity and honestly, go ANYWHERE else but Stripe
I waited my 7 days for the first transaction to process into my account. No big deal, that's how it works. Second transaction went smoothly. The third transaction they all of a sudden have an issue with my bank. The bank doesn't print their full name on the statements, instead using the first letter of each word, similar to an acronym. So now they claim the bank names don't match up. I had to send statements and voided checks. Customer service verified everything. Everything matches up but there's a mystery verification it has to go thru that no human can do. No one knows when it'll be done. All they say is to keep checking back. Every day my funds show possibly deposited the following day. Now it's Friday and it shows possibly Monday. 7 days money being held hostage. Mind you there have been zero issues with any prior deposits. So they get 3% fee, which I'm sure they already have possession of, and a week of free interest on my money. I get if there's an issue they need to verify information but there is absolutely no concern for the customer who has funds frozen. No urgency to resolve. No concern how your business is effected. No ability for a human to help. You are just stuck in a random loop of waiting. All of my info was verified days ago by a customer service rep. Think twice before using
They hold payment And refund costumers with out your approval and fist they will open your account and out of nothing once you start receiving money they will Close and hold the amount for good, there no support
Unable to obtain any level of support, no phone number to call, online chat to machine learning system and unable to obtain a return call in a timely manner and zero response to emails
Let me paint a picture of the nightmare I've endured with this despicable excuse for a payment processor.
🔪 Knife in the Back: Despite providing top-notch food-related provisioning services—no CBD, no firearms, no high-risk nonsense—Stripe blindsided me with demands for purchase orders and other documents which were promptly provided. Like a thief in the night, they froze my account, slapped it with a "high risk" label, and slammed the brakes on my payouts.
💰 Money Grabbers: But wait, it gets worse. They had the audacity to withhold over 11 THOUSAND US DOLLARS of my hard-earned money, leaving my company teetering on the brink of collapse. Pending payments from loyal customers? Forget about it. Stripe pocketed that too, leaving me high and dry.
📧 Empty Promises: Oh, and let's not forget the cherry on top—endless back-and-forth emails filled with cookie-cutter responses. "Remaining balance will NOT be made available to you," (nor refunded to my customers) they said, callously disregarding my pleas for justice.
💀 SCAM Alert: Folks, mark my words. Stripe isn't just a payment processor; it's a den of thieves masquerading as a legitimate business. If you value your hard-earned money and sanity, steer clear of these crooks at all costs. They'll bleed you dry and leave your business gasping for air.
I would recommend to everyone who is thinking about using this platform to think about it. They have made my company lose thousands of pounds by hiding behind clause number 5.6, after a dispute with a customer who requested a refund for an item, keeping all the money we had sold in a month in our store. We currently work with Square and we have not had any problems in addition to the fact that it is cheaper and was much easier to integrate into our web platform.
SCAMMERS!
My business partner paid the invoices through this DEVIL company, and after some transactions, they froze our money $6800, saying it was not authorized! We sent all required documents, and now
NO REACTION. Our law is guilty here, to let SCAMMERS like STRIPE steal our money! Everyone should write a BLOG OR REVIEW ON LINKEDIN with hashtags! I won't stop until I get my MONEY BACK and will post wherever I can.
PLEASE CONTACT IRS FOR THIS Company, I am pretty sure they have a lot to hide! More we do, less something like this will happen! You have to fight them back with, what they really deserve!
Shame on you, DEVIL STRIPE!
Stripe Locked our funds but our lawyers managed to get it released, we decided to help others who still have their funds locked up, we charge a small amount and we get it legally released to you, you can find more information at https://shinelawaustralia.com/
Stripe suspended my account without warning and with no reason. They are holding £££££'s of my cash for 120 days and have terminated all incoming transactions.
For a small business, this has absolutely crippled my finances and we will likely have to close as a result.
I urge any small business owner to avoid Stripe at all costs, they WILL fleece you (Google "Stripe 120 days" for lots of identical cases).
Answer: Hi Jon, I'm sorry that you're having trouble with disputes -- they can be frustrating! Unfortunately, when your customer initiates a dispute with their bank, it's the bank that begins an investigation and makes the determination on who gets to keep the funds -- and often times, they do favor the customer. This process is facilitated by credit card networks, but Stripe helps with this process by submitting evidence that you provide, such as tracking numbers. Although we can't make disputes go away, we do try our best to make them a bit easier to manage. As a bit of background on how the dispute process works, the minute that we learn about a dispute from your cardholder's bank, the funds and an additional fee are taken out of our account. In the event that you're able to win a dispute, we return the full amount of the charge and the fee to you, though the fee that we are assessed is not returned to us by the bank. We return that fee because we feel strongly that businesses shouldn't be penalized for disputes that are resolved in their favor. Because it is expensive for us to return those fees in instances were the dispute is resolved in the business's favor, we aren't able to return the fees at other times. In addition, since disputes are a forced refund by the cardholder’s bank and not a voluntary one on your part, you remain responsible for the processing fees for the initial transaction. It can be tricky for even experienced businesses to understand how to handle a dispute, so we've spent time documenting the various circumstances under which a payment can be disputed, and how best to handle each -- I'd recommend taking a look at https://stripe.com/help/disputes to learn more. Please also take a look at https://stripe.com/help/disputes#how-can-i-prevent-disputes to learn more about preventing disputes. I hope this helps shed some light on our approach here. Again, I'm sorry that dealing with disputes are frustrating. Stripe actively dedicates resources to making this problem better and, over time, go away entirely. We can certainly look into your account and these specific disputes, if you'd like, if you send us a message at https://support.stripe.com/email.
Answer: These are the most significant crooks in the industry but they will get what they deserve I joined a group how will exposed there behavior. It is impossible that they can keep on operating and not get arrested
