I called to make an appointment and I specifically asked if our insurance was accepted. I was told it was. Fast-forward to our appointment and it turned out they dont accept our insurance. To put more salt in the wound the front desk woman was rude. Will never go here again

Sales manager Chadwick Warren, Go see him he's went above and beyond for his customers. I ordered my glasses on line and everything was wrong with them and I went and seen Chadwick and he fixed everything wrong and was very polite and accommodating me.
Stanton optical not only has slow and bad service. It has taken over 2 month and i still haven't recieved my contacts. I haven't been able to speak to anyone about it. They dont answer phone so i will never use them again nor would i ever recommend Stanton optical
$79, buy one get one free, free eye exam
All TECHNICALLY true. However….
You actually get (although it was never explained) a $59 deduction from your bill IF you buy their frames.
They have very few frames for $79 AND you wouldn't want any of them.
The buy one get one free doesn't apply to the lenses, And the cheapest lenses were $229.
My total bill was to about $500, for the middle (purple tagged) cost frames.
Hum…
Buy one get one free? $79 for two pair, including the exam.
If I were to spend $500, it would be a quality place that were honest about their advertisements.

I called to make appointment for eye exam. The person told me since I was a new customer coming in same day I would not be charged for exam. He failed to tell me it was only free if you by lenses and frames from them. He also failed to tell me you're exam is done by a tech, not a Dr. On a TV screen from BFE. Very impersonable! Who knows if it's even correct! I would never recommend Stanton optical!
The prices are unbeatable. Moreover, the quality and shipping time are truly impressive. I had an experience where i received a pair of eyeglasses that i wasn't completely satisfied with, but the company promptly sent me another pair of my choice. The replacement arrived so quickly that i hadn't even returned the ones i didn't like yet! It was a truly remarkable and efficient eye exam and customer service.

I had the unfortunate experience of breaking a frame that wasn't very old. However, thanks to the model numbers and the user-friendly design of your website, I easily located the exact frame I needed. I am grateful that you still have a supply of it.
I have a deep affection for this frame, particularly considering the lenses were quite expensive, and being able to replace just the frame allows me to avoid discarding the entire pair of eyeglasses.
The purchasing & prescription adding process was very simple. I wear prescription eyeglasses and my prescription glasses arrived in excellent condition, and the accuracy of the prescription was spot-on!

My glasses dropped a lens and I was refused repair because my yearly is 3 months late, due to COVID. I explained I need my glasses but was refused without an eye exam and week wait plus whatever it takes to get new glasses. I asked for the doctor and was refused.
You have lost a customer
False advertising...we were charged for the eye exam although the website clearly stated the eye exam (whether for contacts or eyeglasses) would be free with purchase of 2 pair of eyeglasses which we did (actually 2 members of our family each purchased 2 pair). The website clearly advertises 99 for a contact lens exam which includes rx for glasses and clearly states the exams are free with purchase of 2 pair eyeglasses. But we were charged 95 for an eye exam plus 50 for contact lens fitting. The manager could not explain and said she had no ability to do anything about this. She said the eye exam is only free if you do not get a contact lens exam, despite the clear language in the ad on the website. Lots of high upcharges...anti-glare, blue light filter...
I went to the Staton Optical in Jupiter. After my Opthomologis told me it would be two weeks to get glasses with a new prescription, I went to Stanton and got them the same day. They have a lab on site and made them within 2 hours. Couldn't be happier. And they were sooo friendly, too!

This place is absolutely amazing. The refraction service was something I was a bit hesitant about but the ladies here assured me that it works no different and they weren't lying. It was the most efficient eye exam I think I've had, and I've been wearing glasses and contacts for years. The wonderful customer service here never fails! These ladies are the nicest ladies, They get a little busy but their time management skills are through the roof. Their attitudes towards each other and to their customers aren't affected by the amount of people they see. You can see their smiles even with masks on! If you want friendly, fast and structured eye care go visit them. I was helped by Tamberlynn and Sandra, two of the managers here at the Stockton location. These ladies worked well with each other to help me figure out exactly what I need and their personalities are unmatched. Thank you so much for all that you do.

At first they seemed good compared to former prescription and though the selection was god-awful I decided to make do. The cheap glasses fell apart immediately. My fault, I should have known better and I sure do now. Customer service is non-existant. They were actually even kinda rude in the store. Hours on hold to get prescription emailed to me and never got anyone. I figure I'll just go get an eye exam it will be worth it to get better glasses and not deal with this circus again, STAY AWAY, NOT WORTH IT!
To begin with this is my first exam ever so maybe its on me but when I called for an app they originally told me that an exam without insurance would be 59 dollars then when I got there they said 100 which I already was like mmmmm maybe I should leave but I was like no I kind of need it we will go forward JUST for the prescription and we'll see if there any options after well after my exam they said I qualified for the 79 two glasses deal which I was like hmbetter than 100 I guess sure I did think to my self how did I qualify I didn't give them any financial info? But didn't think to ask, when all is said and done 8 picked two out the lady at the desk to my face said 79 dollars even SAID NOTHING about lens prices no clarity(haha) that i would be paying more than 79 dollars so I paid 180 for glasses, nothing on any devices showed me the price while cashing out

Booked an appointment online only to have it canceled the day before because they overbooked. That took them a week to figure that out. Booked another online and did not receive an email confirmation for several days so I called them only to find out they didn't have my appointment in the system and the day I needed the appointment was now booked. Don't even bother with them. Terrible company. Take your business elsewhere.
I would like to say that my overall service with Kinley at the Tyler, Tx Store was awesome! She was the sweetest and very personable, She also went to great lengths to get my daughter and I exactly what we wanted at great prices! We will definitely look for her in the future. Thanks Soooooo Much!

Medford Oregon stanton Optical. My insurance plus 400. 00. 2 visits. Glasses make me dizzy. Went to get single vision lens put in. I was told they would be ready next day. Came inand they didnt get processed. I went and paid another 138.00 for single vision lens done in an hour.so 538.00 later. Oh were sorry is what I get. I driver a living. They assured me they would get done but did not! Lost my business
I came in July 2nd to have my frames fitted with my prescription, I was told they would be ready for pick up July 16th. I have called in every day since, spoke to the customer service number as well and all they tell me is "it shows here they'll be in tomorrow". I've asked to speak to a manager more than a dozen times and they say they'll forward my info to them because apparently they're never in store, and no one has contacted, they won't refund my money, and no one knows where MY frames are. Stanton Optical on Sheridan Ave in Tonawanda NY. Absolutely horrible
Went in for my yearly eye exam to renew my contacts... no more LIVE eye Dr. my exam was done over a monitor from some foriegn Dr. then I told them I wanted the air optic lenses. Do ok. I get to conuter to pay and I was told my part was going to be almost 200.00$. I said. I never paid that much. What happened to a free exam yearly. Us I joined their eye club a few years ago. Whatever that was. So she said that they do price comparison with Costco and that my cost would be around 60.00$. Then she charged me a tax of 35.00$. I said WHAT. Do ok. I pay it. Get my contacts 3 Days later but I can't read or see computer. I called them up went in during my lunch hour and was told the color lenses aren't made for reading. They never told me that. Now I gotta take time to take them back and get another script. Will not do business there again... it's the worst place. Bet they won't be in business long
