I've heard of mashable, but never looked on the site. WOW! I've been missing out for too long! So HAPPY I finally checked you guys out. Savings and selections are endless. I hate shopping too (HAH! Who said all women LOVE shopping!) Lots of stuff in one place and shopping ONLINE is the only way to shop for me! Thanks ALL you mashable people!
I recently bought a product from them. The experience was negative. As the result I've got an unusable, non-functioning product. Somehow it was mistake -- I did not see a lot of negative feedback, numerous responses and reviews. Stacksocial has a poor reputation among consumers, with many warning others to avoid the site altogether. I asked for refund -- no returns, no refunds. "Perhaps you can give it as a gift to a suitable friend", - they told me. That's their policy. P.S. Eventually I got a refund. Thank you Penelope

I bought a deal that went quite bad. I asked for a refund and they try redirects so they don't have to give me my $50 back. They want to resolve it with the merchant when I have already told them I've lost all confidence with them. They don't listen.
To me the company feels like a souless money sucking machine that refuses to spit it back out.
They don't seem to hear the human behind the text. They make out to "empathize" with you. I get a canned response to my email. Very insulting.
I will avoid doing any business with them again. It looks like I'll be taking this up with consumer affairs.
Tip for consumers:
Do your research on the merchant. Avoid new services because they can be unreliable.

I have had several negative experiences buying from this supplier. For the sake of your mental health, you should not shop here, especially if you are an EU citizen.
EDIT: By contacting the Product owner, the issue was partly resolved. Rating increased to 2 because the shop cooperated with the product owner.

I purchased a lifetime Microsoft Office on Stack Social website but the product key they provided doesn't work and they've stopped responding to my emails when I requested for a replacement or refund. Totally unacceptable, it's a real scam!

My second purchase was a face mask with 5 filters. It took a very long time to get the item from the Stack Social vendor. When it arrived today (5/15), I opened it up and tried to put on. DOESN'T STAY ON & APPARENTLY since it was such a deal (over $20), it is NOT REFUNDABLE.
BUYER BEWARE!
I chose the software, with an advertised price of $32.97, which somehow increased to $42.55, after tax and Handling.
Tax: $6.59
Handling: $2.99
Order Total: $42.55
There was no previous mention of any additional of these costs, prior to being asked to pay.

Stacksocial sent a key that had already been used when I purchased a lifetime license for MS Office Pro from their site. Still trying to get them to respond. They are not being very responsive. Feels like a total scam.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site!

At this point none, because they failed to provide a valid license key for MS Office Professional after it was purchased.
BlackFriday PromoCode Fail Paid Full PRICE. StackSocial won't refund back to Visa payment
I placed the order and enter the promotion code listed but It didn't work and when click apply then all of sudden it ORDERED for me automatically and pay FULL Price! Yes it didn't ask me payment methods page at all! Took Visa payment that was recorded on a previous payment.
Item: "The complete DevOps certificates courses & practice test bundle" Original $39 dollar after black Friday week discount code is $12. They charged $39 to my Visa and would not refund me. They said they can give me $39 credits back. HOWEVER, store credit can not use Black Friday code AT THE SAME TIME.
So I cost me $39/each credits to pay the same course instead of $12/each!
I am here to tell you YOU GUYS ARE BEING warned. Black Friday WEEK Discount CODE will not work and it will automatically take your PREVIOUS VISA PAYMENT information and charge to the same VISA card.
Furthermore. THey WON"T call you back nor they have a phone number to call. StackCommerce Support is worst. Takes two days to reply anything
And their email called themself "Support Heroes"?
I sent the support ticket 1 minute right away I saw they charged my Visa. It took them days to reply to me back. Then I provided Screen Capture to proof and they wait 2 days to email me back. This is ongoing for 1 week+ already. I am not get their HELP!
StackCommerce owns both StackSocial & TMZ. Bought Microsoft OFFICE pro from TMZ two years ago & key code was used & never worked. Bought MICROSOFT office pro 2021 recently from StackSocial & same issue AGAIN. Found out StackSocial & TMZ under StackCommerce parent company.
Found out from Microsoft that there is no RETAIL sales for Microsoft Pro - only corporate bundles. StackSocial is selling key codes from bundles that are already assigned to the bundle. It is no glitch that when you enter the key code StackSocial (or TMZ) provides via an email link that redirects you back to StackSocial's website for the big reveal & then another link to try to activate a non valid key code, you see a message that the key code is USED.
You cannot call StackSocial CSRs, you can only fill out a form on StackSocial's website "contact us" then you have no proof of contact & you never hear back. StackSocial's refund policy states that once you view the bogus key code, NO REFUNDS. Catch 22. DO NOT BUY.
Disputed charge with CC company & StackSocial quick to provide proof of purchase but I am then required to provide proof that purchase of software key code doesn't work.
Don't fall for promise of another working key code because it will just be more headaches for you & these key codes will never work. Even if software somehow magically downloads, it will not function later or will be incomplete - think Rosetta Stone language software.

I recently ordered the PhiGolf golf simulator. I find it to be working fine after one day but it is clearly a used piece of merch. No where in the description does it say used or refurbished. For just $45 more dollars I could have bought a brand new one on Amazon. Just thought this was a sale. Again it seems to be working fine just wish I would have know it was used.

Total complete rip-off artists... Don't stand behind their products, and never ever listen to you, and never ever give refunds... Even if it's a faulty product... You are stuck, and out of your money...
The site hides terms behind multiple tabs, split to deceive you. Customer Support is more than happy to keep up the bait and switch offered by their company. Save yourself disappointment or time in needing to scour their entire page, with multiple links hidden between tabs to uncover that they are trying to just steal your money.
Here's my experience I paid $349 for a computer that was supposed to have 32 GB of RAM when I turned it on it only had 8 GB of RAM basically they told me it's my tough luck too bad we're not refunding partially your money go to heck we don't care about your business that's what they told me I even tried to contact the CEO left email he never contacted me back all I wanted was $100 of my money refunded which I thought was fair considering this was supposed to have 32 GB of RAM and I only had eight they are nothing but false advertisement and fraud do not do business with

I decided to use Stacksocial to buy a 3 month access for Adobe Creative cloud. However, when I went to redeem the codes - the very same day - they were not valid. Use caution when buying from this site!
Selling rubbish so called 'lifetime VPN subscriptions' that are worse than most of the free ones, download speeds are absolute dreadful averaging between 0.2 GB to 0.9 GB, when emailed for refund because of the dire speeds, they don't want to know or help just " fob you off", ignore your emails than they close your account.
R. e Purchased a good annual subscription VPN Nord averaging fast 39 -45 GB
False, deceptive and misleading advertising.
Bought lifetime subscription for VPN software BUT my access suddenly expired in November after 5 years.
Contacted Stacksocial multiple times and all I get is a "looking into it" reply while I go without a VPN.
The VPN provider (not their fault) kindly extended my account for a few weeks so they can investigate and I can pursue my complaint against Stocksocial.
According to the VPN provider, I am not the only subscriber who was misled (conned) so how about a class action suit? Is anyone interested?
NOTE: I will file a complaint with the FTC but as I understand all they do is send a "cease and desist" warning letter.
Deserves more than 5 stars
I have been buying from them since 2015 until now, I have not had a problem with them. The support is excellent, it provides honest and reliable assistance and support
I don't like compliments. The store is excellent and is considered one of the best stores around the world. I wish them success.
Item was advertised as a genuine brand name (Shashibo) from StackSocial, but the actual item received was a generic, cheap quality copy of the original. StackSocial did charge me for the item but stated the item was purchased from a partner in Wenzhou Zhejiang, China. The Chinese company admitted the item was falsely advertised, and a refund would only be possible if the item was sent back to a room in Longgang City in China instead of StackSocial who charged me. Neither StackSocial nor the Chinese company would provide an RMA. And StackSocial ecommended I deal with the Chinese manufacturer instead. Shipping costs plus tracking service within a communist country would be nearly the cost of the item.
*Update* -- After posting this critical review, StackSocial responded with a possibility to get a refund without sending back the fake item to a room in China. After submitting proof of their credit card charge on my credit card statement, they processed a refund. It shouldn't have taken this long to resolve the problem with a US-based company or resorted to a critical review to get their attention.
It was hard to get the site to accept my credit card information, but it worked in the end.

Do not use this platform:
Do not use this platform. They cannot be reached by phone. There is no customer service and they have not provided the course I paid for. After going through to many problems to get the course paid for there were inadequate directions as to how to access the course. All sorts of problems happened. When I attempted to get help I was contacted by an entity with a different name. Because the named used differed I did not respond quickly. Because I did not respond in 12 hours they assume all was okay. Now I cannot get in touch with them and I cannot get anyone to respond to my request for a refund. At best they are extremely slow and incompetent. More than likely this is a scam.
0 stars if I could. Ordered on Dec 18. A key decision in the purchase was estimated delivery date of Dec 21-24, since was a Xmas gift.
Item did not arrive and on Dec 26th I looked up tracking and saw the items had been entered into the carrier's possession on Dec 20th, but no updates since.
This company does not provide a phone # to call for support, there is only website support form. I contacted support and they provided a "canned" response that they had attempted delivery and to check with the shipping carrier without providing any evidence and contrary to the info provided by shipper.
When I responded to clarify, i did not hear back for 2+ bus days. The last response was that the package was caught in customs. And they offered a $10 credit.
Today I called the shipper and they're saying the shipment lost.
This is completely unacceptable to me. I would not have purchased the products if I knew that it was a false and misleading ship date on website and that products were stuck in customs and would not arrive.
I've asked for a refund and/or resending the order but have not heard back.
Now it's NYE, almost 2 weeks after I ordered and 1+ week after the estimated ship date and my family member does not have the christmas gift promised.
Dont buy anything from stack social. We purchased degoo from stacksocial then degoo defrauded us by destroying my videos of my children's births, weddings, anniversary's and grandparents photos who have passed away! We filed a complaint only to find hundreds of others also complained of the exact same thing! When asked to return our priceless memories degoo refused saying their app went into our private phones and uploaded aimp music videos they didn't like and that was their excuse for destroying our private memories we paid them to protect! We turned to stacksocial and asked them to intervene after months of back and forth Penelope with stacksocials final reply was that:" so sorry for your loss but tough luck we side with the criminal vendor" basically tough luck, we dont care. Want to buy more from us that we wont defend you when they steal from you?

A complete scam of a site. I fell for the $100 Amazon gift card deal. It seemed too good to be true, and it was. They promised if you spent $25, you would get a $100 amazon gift card. I had used the site in the past. I spent $39 on this site for this purpose.
Apparently that was only a chance at a $100 gift card, despite having a separate transaction for the gift card that sold out, giving you the impression that this item was the limitation. It's deceptive. They refused a refund and offered only a $5 credit on the site. I will NEVER use them again.
WORKED FOR A FEW DAYS... NOW ALL THE POPUPS ARE BACK! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT. IT MAKES ME WONDER IF THIS HAPPENS TO ALL LIFETIME OFFERS
