Great price, lots of instructions on how to produce a CSR and how to install the certificate. Had to search for some additional info, because had a server error, but that isn't related to the certificate.
The certificate is working well and I got it in one day! Had to talk to support for a little issue and it was solved on the sport, they were very helpful.

Was a bit confusing as to how to install it on the website then it created a email address that does not nor has never existed to send an email with the SSL to...so do not know what thats about but otherwise perfect!
Information on the sequence of purchasing and installing could be presented on the activation page without requiring navigation to where the requirements are listed.
Also, it would be good to allow any user within the domain to receive emails, not just the standard admin, hostmaster, etc. Most of the sites I deal with don't have these addresses defined.
SSLs.com was a shot in the dark. I wanted a cheaper SSL cert for one of my sites and they came up on a Google search. I contacted their Live Help and got a very friendly and capable woman who told me all I needed to know and waited patiently online while I went through my order. She was at pains to point out that she would be there if I needed any help during installation.
Having ordered my SSL product, I used the help available on the site to install and set up my cert, and within 30 minutes I was up and running. Great service, keenly priced. I'll be back for more!

Great customer support, I got my replies in the online chat. BUT the prices are very low and to be honest, this was the main reason to buy. The process of ordering is very optimised, therefore, I didn't even have to contact the support once it had started, everything was automatic.

Hi, I purchased this certificate specifically for Code Signing a Java program that talks to an openfire server. During my previous discussions with your support team, this seemed like it was viable. Unfortunately, it turns out that the certificate I purchased did not work for that specific use case.

I spent 15 minutes looking for a way to register for the site when you can't until you're trying to buy something. Furthermore, the certs all seem to be nearly the same, so it's hard to know which one to buy. Lastly, I've now purchased a cert without ever saying what domain it's for. This all seems wrong.

Your site was giving me nondescript errors about my CSR, but after a few tries without changes on my part it finally acquiesced and signed my certificate. Took me about 15 minutes of trial and trial-again.
I would suggest that your validation teams look for alternative (secure) methods of validation. Because of the pandemic, many of us are working from home. Calling the main office number (and optionally requesting an extension) is not as reliable as it once was. (DigiCert recently revised their methods, and it is a very smooth process.)

Having purchased a Certificate I received to sets of communication from Comodo. Having informed them of this and requesting guidance on who I should deal with, neither replied to clarify this. Next the proceeded to inform me that my address details were wrong according to the business directories they chose to believe. I informed them that it was correct at Companies house and I refused to contact those business directories, as I have never registered with them. All of them sell advertising and do not have any independence from possible conflicts of interest. I have requested a refund three times citing that for a 3rd party security organisation, I could not have been more disappointed in their ability to provide any kind of professional service. I'm still waiting for my refund.
Everything was fine, with a small exception. The email I used contained a "+", which is perfectly valid. The system will fail because of it, and it will not allow me to reset it until I contacted customer service. The solution is simple: implement regular expressions to allow plus aliases email addresses (for example, john+*******@example.com), which are perfectly valid.

The certificate process started quickly but the verification process was horrible - Same issue as last year,
They chose a phone number listed for you from some obsolete internet source and hold up the process until you get it through their ridiculous verification staff that the number they are calling you for verification purposes is wrong and will hold up the process indefinitely.
My mail server was partially down for two days and I finally had to call tech support for work arounds even after faxing and scanning CPA legal documents. They are cheaper than anyone else but unless you have only one listed phone number for your company you may have to jump through hoops to get the final cert.
Your price for an SSL certificate is very reasonable, and the ordering process was very efficient. Unfortunately, the next steps are very unclear. It would be nice to have chat support to help me through setting my SSL certificate set up... maybe you already have this service?

Fast. Please add short and clear information why the SSL cert is so cheap. From what I read I guess it grants the domain name only, not the company and etc, also lower insurance, but the price is great.
Easy to use, good choice of products to choose from. We were able to buy a certificate which met our basic needs without having to pay for anything we didn't want or need. A breath of fresh air approach.
Clicking the buttons and making the order was easy. Installing the certificate was simple and there were ample instructions both on ssls.com and elsewhere online about how to do it. The price was cheap enough that it's worth installing ssl even on staging platforms and short term use projects where any client may preview web development work.
Answer: I have been using them for a couple of years and the certificates work fine for ecommerce.
