I don't understand how this company
Can offer services with major retailers, like target Costco amazon and eBay. WATCH OUT! They're experts in giving you the run around, agent, after agent………. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST
I'd give them a zero starts but the system won't allowed me. I have been getting the run around even though everything they requested is submitted more than 3 times and they still have the nerves to say it was not. After I submitted screenshots shots as proof and request a manager call, the person confirmed everything was received and a resolution will be given within 2 hours from our call. That was yesterday and I am still waiting. They don't hesitate to take the money out from accounts when you purchase a warranty plan but long week full of EXCUSES WHEN IS TIME FOR THEM TO MAKE A REPLACEMENT for a defective leaking item. Very convenient!
I recently filed a claim for a product that I purchased with a warranty through SquareTrade. I filed a claim process was simple enough but when I was given the amount that they would give me which was below the purchase price. The customer service representative Ross told me that they do not issue the entire purchase price because I was getting a Instant Credit. But if I'd like I can shipping The product out of pocket to their company and if they are Not able to repair it they will send me the full purchase price. I purchased the warrantee so that I can do things at my leisure not affairs I will not be purchasing another Square trade warranty
Made a claim for my daughters Lenovo IdeaPad, sent product then a week later received the product back, basically play Stay Band-Aid to the product as a repair. I had a to send the product back for repairs a second time for the issue. Then. Two to nearly 3 weeks I received back the product without my accessories that I sent with the product, now I have to wait another week to two weeks for my accessories, get your $#*! together people.
Being endorse through Allstate I am amazed what a process and wait time it took to just get a remote replaced. The agent could barely speak English. I just brought up reviews and noticed I am not the only one it seems. It's a total gimmick. Told me to buy a replacement from Amazon. WOW! Does Allstate take any responsibly or is Square Trade pirating the logo...HUMMM.
40mins of alot of nothing and they hung up BEWARE!
I brought sofa set 2021 5 yr warranty never said damage had to be reported in 30 days like what difference its damaged
I was in hospital for months stroke knees giving out ect 2 Surgeries
So they don't want to replace I'm disabled a widow and live alone I just want what I paid for
Stay away from this company and really stay away from it if you used ebay! Second time dealing with them and they keep saying upload a receipt and i do and they keep claiming they cant see the date it was bought this and that people are rude they steal your money and wont help you out then you try upload stuff just get error plz stay away!

Called CS - super friendly and said system was down - please wait
Waited until next day - send on line and found that my account had been reassigned to an OLD/DEAD email
Called - 90 min later - after many conversations and many times I explained they said it would get fix - wait 5 hrs and for an email
I waited
Well email arrived and basically said u loose your warenty if u cannot access the previous email!
I never gave them this email
They pulled it and filled this out
However they will not offer a fix
They give perpetual runaround
They appear nice yet never fix anything
Do not waste your money this was a total scam
All state should loose their license for participating in such a disgraceful business model
I sent in a robot vacuum to get fixed that I had a warranty on. It was a Roomba and I packaged him up nicely and neatly and clean and he was sent in. I am not even joking you in a couple days I received an email where they were going to try to take away my warranty stating that animal feces was found inside. They refused to provide pictures and we're going to attempt to cancel my entire plan. They sent it back to me, and when I opened it up it was just as clean as when I had sent it and I mean clean! I am super super disappointed in the laziness and unprofessionalism. I called back because I have proof and pictures and I eventually was able to get a gift card with the replacement amount that it cost. It was so much of a hassle I don't think that you should ever take the chance always go with asurion on AMAZON.
I bought a 5-year Protection Plan after purchasing a 55-inch TV from Costco. The TV failed after 3-1/2 years. Unfortunately, it was registered under an email address that no longer exists due to change in employment. After multiple attempts to re-register the purchase with a current email address, I realized I had entered an "endless do-loop." Every attempt, including calling two 800 numbers, began with "enter the email the item was registered with." Then they send a reply to that email in order to confirm the legitimacy of the claim. Since it's no longer possible to receive mail at that email address, it's impossible to continue! That must be the intent of the whole scam. I tried to enter this claim on a desktop, laptop, and iPhone, even trying to "establish a new account" -- all three lead to a dead end! The "no-service" 800 numbers are all computer-generated voice-assistants. Totally worthless.
Even if I had the current email address, I doubt seriously that I could have collected a nickel on this legitimate claim. I had always thought Allstate (the carrier for Square Trade) was a reputable company, but no longer! Glad I don't have my homeowner's or auto insurance with them!
I don't know we're these people get off doing what they do but how are you not going to pay me when I was already approved then you don't want to give me back my money for the plans I want canceled biggest rip off I've ever payed for will never buy from Walmart again because of square trade
I have purchased SquareTrade plans from eBay for a while up until I had to actually file a claim and never know how difficult and time-consuming it was there is no way to officially link your receipt to the SquareTrade account other than taking multiple screenshots which they always requested additional ones. I had to cancel some policies because I never received the items and because it was after the 30 days I had to send all the policy numbers for each item that was purchased which was over 20 numbers I had to individually enter and they want to be to send individual receipts for all 20 policies it told a little over $100 to cancel all these policies which I've spent roughly 10 hours trying to do and I still have not got it finished save yourself the money and just don't break your stuff would not waste my time with them ever again...
They use old scrap parts to fix your tv from other damaged units. That eventually go out. Then they make you jump through hoops. 3 weeks, no fix no solution.
A total run around with every opportunity to just take up your time and piss you off. Over a month of claims that got closed without fixing the TV, Repair shops that don't do work on your TV, Phone numbers given that don't go to a repair shop. Run around, run around until you either want to cry or give up! All the people on the phone are polite just so you think you're actually being helped but you're not. Its a GIMMICK AND A RIP OFF!
I purchased the Squaretrade phone warranty plan through Allstate mid year 2023. March 2024 my phone fell & broke, I took it to get fixed cost $381, submitted claim with receipt & they denied claim saying pre-existing which it was NOT! WORTHLESS WARRANTY DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON.

THE CHAINSAW WOULD NOT START. MY WIFE SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE PLACED ON HOLD WITH THEIR WARRANTY SERVICE DEPARTMENT. ALL THAT WE GOT WAS A ROUND CYLINDER UP THE YANG-YANG. They had gave me A Fake 2 Year Fitbit Protection Plan stated within the Email Message that this had came from All State Car Insurance! I was not redirected to the Fitbit Company for the Officially Labeled Fitbit Protection Plan and I would like my Refund of $60!
Called regarding my phone and just got transferred around and told to wait 1-2 days for an email … which never came. Save your money and time … don't buy a Square Trade policy!
I purchased an office chair from Staples, and purchased the Square Trade 3 year warranty. After less than a year, the chair was leaning to one side and an arm was very loose. I filed a claim with Square Trade, but was told I had to wait one year. I filed a claim on line and never hear back from Square Trade.
Fast forward to over three years later, I found the old Staples receipt in an old box while cleaning up files. I contacted Square Trade for my warranty payment. They said there is no record of me filing a claim and since it's past three years from the date of purchase, there's nothing they can do.
Well, if you purchase a 3 year warranty, and file a claim in say 10 months, why would Square Trade not stand behind the warranty? The reason given to me today was, "Within one year the manufacturer will support the problem". Really? I don't know who made the chair. It was purchased at Staples.
A three year warranty is really a two year warranty. Bait and Switch. State Attorney General should investigate.
I bought a warranty and called for replacement 3 times they didn't respond through email and closed my case for not being responding! This is a waste of money!
Answer: Company takes forever doing anything. Refuses refunding when it cant repair something and will make up an excuse to void the warranty.
