I have been a Founder member for several years and have recently become a subscribe and save member. Splash has the absolute BEST customer service of any online source I've shopped (it's a high number too)! Furthermore, the product is fabulous! They select them and only offer them if they like them. I have both automatic and optional subscriptions but I've done the order when I want for 4-5 years without issue! Raise a glass and cheers to the best! Splash!
Buyer beware! I ordered a special Pinot Noir box, which was supposed to include four "Captains List" bottles. The price was much higher than what I ordinarily pay, but I was very excited to get the advertised Willamette Valley Pinots. When the box arrived, there were only 11 wines (plus one empty space), and none of the Captains List bottles. When I asked for the missing bottles to be shipped, they said it was too expensive. Instead, they were only willing to offer a partial refund that was based on the average cost of all the bottles. Bad service, shady practices!

I have bought wine from Splash wines (or whatever they are calling themselves at the moment) always hoping for the best...instead I'm always disappointed. You would think the least they could do in throw in at least one mediocre wine now and then. Instead they offer nothing but low rung wines that probably wouldn't even make the bargain bin at the liquor store. Never again.0 stars.

Their prices may be low, and so is the quality. The only way to get a decent bottle of wine is to upgrade to their hgher tier wines, and now your good deal is gone. I recently had ordered a case of 18, received only 17, and had to jump thru hoops to prove it. They had me take photos of all the wines and then only gave me 1/18 credit for the missing bottle, even though the missing bottle was a better quality wine. Also the fine print states that they may substitute wines, so what you ordered, you may not get. Although shipping is convenient, I'll go back to Total Wine and avoid the hassle for my next purchase.

There is no way to use their splash cash. The site is so annoying. I tried to support, but they seem to be aware of the issue, but offered no solution
Great value since where can I buy $5 bottle of wine. The higher price package are definitely better, but keep in mind the wine is 2019 vintage. The most expensive package has mix of older and younger wines and those are better tasting wines!

In the shipment I received: none of the vine had more then 90 points rating, customer review 3.0 - 3.5 stars; there were some wines in plastic bottles, retail price for some wines were $2.99 and $4.99. You get better deal at Aldi store

I have ordered from various companies, and have enjoyed all. Unfortunately for me splash wines are cheap for a reason. If you are a true wine drinker, these wines are not for you. So far all the whites taste the same much like vinegar. I shall not order from this company again. Not great.
I have been a great customer to Splash Wines. One of my all time Fav's. But when I ordered the wrong case and wanted assistance, they were not willing to assist and I got stuck with it. They would not credit me even a penny off of the one I had to keep nor a discount on buying a new one. NOTHING. I have bought cases and cases from them. I will be moving on to one of their competitors who has just as good of wine and packages.

I got a Groupon so I decided to try them out. I was not impressed. The quality of these wines was so incredibly low. A few of them tasted like they'd been thinned out with water and had some kind of hard alcohol added (like the stuff they make hard seltzer from). A few others tasted old and past expiry. There was a weird aftertaste present in most all of the bottles that was just plain gross, and too similar to be a coincidence. I have tried many varieties of wine before and since and enjoyed them immensely, so I know there is nothing wrong with my palate.
Also the customer service is terrible.

Great prices but very slow to ship. Placed order 8 days ago still has not shipped. Be aware they charge restock fee before they will refund you. That about $22 dollars. A very unfair charge.

I joined as a Founder's Member over a year ago. I think this is one of the better wine clubs I belong to (I belong to 6). Their selection is great and delivery is always on time as promised. I have received some not so good wines, but when I contact customer services, they credit my account for those bad wines, and all is well. My only complaint would be that I wish they offered more domestic wines and less international.
This is a rip off. I paid $69 for the Vineyard Subscription: These wines are specially selected from some of the world's best vineyards. They are wonderfully complex wines yet at the same time they are well-rounded accompaniments for any occasion.
NOPE. I received wines that RETAIL for $69... which means that 6 of the 8 bottles I received cost under 10. One of them retails for $4. BULL$#*! SERVICE.
Have been buying wine from Splash for about 3-4 yrs. No issues at all w/ ordering online. Also have not had to return any. Probably should have a couple times but luckily the next shipment makes up for hte 1 bottle that disappointed me in the previous batch. These selections are very good for the non connasiour and offer enough variety to be given as gifts as well.
15 bottles purchase with a Groupon cost about $89.00 with a flat shipping fee of $29.00. All the red wines taste the same, poor smell and taste, of course this explains it; it's splash wines you need to splash it in the bathroom to empty out all the bottles because you can't drink them.
Looked at a Groupon for Splash Wine due to email. Clicked around trying to get details and ended up with a charge of $48 on PayPal. In order to get ANYTHING from Splash Wine. At that point, I'd have to pay $38 for shipping. Decided to cut my losses but did call to make sure they did not sign me up for a monthly subscription too. Customer service guy was an $#*!. Out of pocket $48 but glad I don't have to deal with Splash in the future. If you have to use sneaky tactics, then your not a stand up company.
I bought a case of wine, as I have from many companies over the years, and these were the cheapest $2 screw cap wines, and tasted horrible. It's the first time I've ever felt completely ripped off when buying wine online. I got far less than what I paid for. They are scamming people left & right, and their customer service is horrible.
I have tried this company 2 times and I won't ever use them again. The customer service is terrible. The wine tastes awful and I waited almost 2 months to get my shipment the first time. I thought maybe it was just a bad time because of Covid so I thought I would try it again. It's now over a month since I placed my order and still nothing. I tried to contact customer service the same... nothing. They were sure quick to take my money though. Don't bother with this company.
I've been ordering from Splash for probably 4 years now & have only gotten 1 wine I disliked (and it just got turned into sangria!). I prefer Splash over other the other wine subscription companies because you're not defaulted in to a monthly or quarterly box - you simply order a box that looks good to you when you want it. They've always been quick to respond when I've had issues before too - like requesting a different shipper with a more convenient pickup location.
I have been a member of Splash Wines for 3 years now and they provide the best wines at an outstanding price. The customer service team is great and it is like Christmas opening up each new box of wines. I have experienced wines from around the world that I would have never known about just shopping at the local store. Plus, I am able to fill my wine cellar at a fraction of the cost. A very nice selection of very young wines from worldwide vineyards. As a Founder for several years, I have enjoyed some very good wines and have yet to encounter a bad wine from the selections available. The ease of ordering on-line and the shipping departments efficiency in rapidly fulfilling orders is unmatched by other wine venders with which I have dealt.

I have told them. I don't drink. Emails are coming steady to both of my 2 accounts. To think I am not even a customer and they wont listen to my wishes. Can you image after they had my money. Stop emails! I have use for your company!

I ordered a 15-bottle "Connoiseur Collection" through Groupon. Of the 15 bottles I received, only four were as listed in the ad, the other 11 were substitutes. I contacted Splash Wines customer service and was told that because they buy from small wineries, they are often out of stock and have to substitute. Interestingly, they are still listing the original package on Groupon as of today 9/28/18.
I ordered and received a Splash Wines shipment a few months ago. Out of 18 bottles, only a couple were what I would describe as "good." The majority were "just okay," and some were actually so bad they were undrinkable. I hardly ever pour out a bottle of wine, but two of these went straight down the drain. When I informed Splash Wines of the latter, in hopes they would honor their supposed "100% Satisfaction Guarantee," they did not respond. All I asked was that they replace the two bottles I had to pour out with something better, or provide a partial refund to my credit card, but apparently their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is just a marketing ploy they never intended to honor. Due to my experience, I will never order from this company again and will discourage others from doing so as well.
Service is exceptional and free shipping is awesome. The wines are really good (you can upgrade to better wines) and they say you never pay for a wine you don't enjoy (although I never have) They recently had a French red selection that was exceptional. I ordered it twice.
