I shopped at the Wyomissing store on state hill rd. Upon entering store I was warmly greeted. I was shopping for decorations but wasn't sure of what to get cause of the variety.
I asked an employee for assistance. She was a Spanish lady named mary. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the store. She helped me figure out what decorations I needed. I wish other stores had employees as nice as Mary was. I know it's her job, but she makes you feel at ease with no pressure. I have told my friends about the great service at this store and will be returning for more items. Just wanted to say keep up the good work and thanks for an enjoyable experience.

I purchased the ER Surgeon costume in sm/med size. When I got home and tried it on, I found that the top was sm/med, but the pants were lg/xlg. I tried calling corporate, was on hold for 30 minutes, then a recording that they would call me back. I did receive a call, at 2:36 AM! As if I was awake for that call!
I truly tried to reach out to see if they would try to make this right for me, to no avail. Very disappointed in this company!
If by chance they reach out to me to make this right, I will update this review. Otherwise, be extremely vigilant when buying from Spirit.
I canceled an order in October and still haven't received a refund. I've emailed with them I've talked on live chat with them. Still no refund. This is honestly ridiculous and I recommend never buying from them online.
Edit: I finally received my refund on January 3rd.
My son wanted to be a clown for Halloween and wanted to have a voice changer as well the clown shoes. My husband and him went to Spirit Halloween and bought them both, only to find out they were both defective. The voice changer didn't work at all and would keep making this very high pitched noise. We did our research to see how to work it and nothing worked. The shoes were way too big for him in the first place and were coming apart at the sole. We decided we would return them but faculty wouldn't let us return, get store credit, or replace it for something the same price or more. Their answer was "We can't resell these". Not only do they sell shoddy merchandise but refuse to return in anyway at all because they can't "resell" it. Bad costumer service.
I ordered my sons Halloween costume September 9th it is now October 5th I only received the knife to go with the chuckie costume. So I reached out to customer service via their chat option online yesterday to ensure my sons costume is still on its way since my order was appearing as delivered in full. The individual I spoke to stated the costume was coming from another warehouse and would be shipped in the next three days. I woke up this morning to an email stating per my request my order has been canceled and I have been refunded my money. Horrible customer service I never canceled my order and waited almost a month for it to arrive luckily as always Amazon has a similar costume which I just went ahead and ordered. Long story short stick to Amazon or party city and avoid spirit Halloween.
I placed an order for my daughter's costume on. October 11th. Spirit said the costume would ship within 5 to 7 days. I called on the 20th (because I still have not received anything) the girl on the phone said she would have to call the warehouse to let them know of my order?! She would get back to me via email in 48 hours. Now today, October 23rd I still have nothing. My order still shows "in process". I guess with 2020 being the year it is, my daughter's first Halloween might as well be ruined too. Thanks Spirit for making this the worst Halloween. I will NEVER shop here again. **Update** I never received the order. When I called to check on it (for the 4th time) the costume was out of stock so they could not fulfill it anyway. Also have to add, they have horrible customer service.

I went there and I got my kids some costumes and they ripped. I went to the store again and they said that there are no returns so then how was I supposed to fix this. It was the mostest horrible store ever. If you want to buy anything from there, think 5 times before you go there.
Trick or Treat? I placed an order on 9/13/14. Both items were "In Stock" when I placed the order. Both had an estimated delivery date of 9/22. I received email notification from them on 9/18 that the cockroaches shipped but the jacked up jill decoration (the main item I ordered) had not shipped yet. When I received the cockroaches, the invoice in the box showed the jacked up jill was on "back order." On 10/15 I received email notification that my order was not cancelled and my order would ship out after the item I selected was processed and I would receive an updated email in 48 hours. The next update came on 11/4 stating the item was no longer availalbe and was cancelled. I guess I got the TRICK. If you actually want what you order, don't buy it from Spirit of Halloween.
I placed an order on October 10th and it is now Oct 24th. My package is "stuck" in Indiana since the 11th. That is all the information I have. I have looked up the tracking number on FedEx, where it says it shipped from, and USPS, where Spirit Halloween says it will be delivered. Called customer service to talk to a real person, only to hear they are busy and hung up on. I went to the post office and they said it is still in Indiana and that's all they can tell me. So I just ordered from Amazon to get here tomorrow. Hopefully they will not ruin my 10 year olds Halloween. Oh yeah, spirit also upcharged my purchase. Said what the price was then gave me a different subtotal and added taxes to that total. I'm very interested in why that was. If I ever get to talk to a "real person" questions will be asked.

Hi, I bought a Custome that it's from My Heron Academia last week. According to the package, it says it's size Smal but when I opened it, it was gigantic. There's no way that's size Small. So I tried to return it and I was told that the custome wasn't returnable anymore. I paid $50 for the custome and it's not my fault that it was gigantic. There should be some flexibility. The only thing the person I talked to said that it could be exchange but I don't want to expend $50 for another item that maybe won't fit. How can I trust. I understand there is a policy but there should be some flexibility for items that are expensive. Very disappointed with the store. I tried to contact customer service but it was like a dead end. No way to talk to someone that can help.
I bought the Sam Funko Pop Figure Deluxe MONTHS ago (Order Date: 08-05-2020). I got a confirmation when I bought it and yet still haven't revived anything. I try to email them, no reply. I contact them on FB, no reply. Pretty sure I was scammed. Never buy anything online from these guys. Buyer Beware!

Got the run around with these pop figures. Ordered in July. They said backordered. I then see them available on website I reach out. They assure me they are shipping i wait!

I made my purchase at the Solon, Ohio on Saturday the 19th on my way to work. When I tried it on later that evening I discovered that one size does not fit all, it wouldn't even go past my shoulders.
I was going to return it for a refund and then discovered that they only accept refunds through the 18th. I tried the online chat and it was off. I called their customer service number and was informed there was a 30 minute wait time.
Based on my experience I guess I'm out 20 dollars. Avoid this place.
Unbelievable local stores aren't taking calls (I wanted to know if they had an item). Only number was corporate, phone menu selection indicated they could assist. After an extensive hold they referred me to instacart and refused to assist me saying they have NO AVAILABLE INFO. Instacart requires an account to use their services. Spirit Halloween will never get any business from me!
I went to the Airport road location in Allentown, PA.
Customer service was ABSOLUTELY amazing. The young woman I talked to was the assistant manager. She helped my family and I find matching costumes and up sold us many accessories. She was so kind to my son and even helped him for over 20 min find what he needed. He is disabled and all he could talk about when we got home was his experience with this young lady. I will write a review everywhere just for people to meet this beautiful young lady. Her name tag said Lexi. I will be going back JUST FOR HER

I was BEYOND shocked that everything worked as well as it did, and the quality? Even the jumpsuit itself is beyond comfortable. The pistol belt may be a bit wonky but I think I just don't know how to use it, ha. Everything else, the walkie talkie, EPK METER, and ghost trap all function perfectly - and I am beyond excited for both future cosplays, and Halloween!
I went to Spirit Halloween in Deland, Fl and the manager ordered me a Fox costome the week before Halloween. He told me that it would be in three days. On the forth day I call the online site and they told me I would get my costome that Wednesday after Halloween. The customer service lady said they would send one over night. The day of Halloween still know costume. Call and they told me i won't be until next week after Halloween. Very upset. Won't order again from this company and will refuse both costumes.
I contacted Spirit at the end of October due to an issue with a costume I had purchased. They got back to me at the beginning of November and told me they would issue a refund. They called and left a message, so I called back and the person who answered the phone basically told me to call back the next day to get the original person I talked to on the phone. I couldn't believe customer service told me to call back because they refused to help. So the next day someone else calls and says they'll just process the refund for me. They take my original method of payment (credit card info) and said it would be 7-21 business days. This was on November 7th. Once it hit 21 business days I reached out multiple times with no response AT ALL! They took my credit card info so now I'm just wondering what they really did with it because here we are at the end of December and NO REFUND. They just took my credit card info for fun I guess or who knows what really happened to that information.

The SpiritHalloween in downtown Chicago on E Addams Street is decent when it comes to selection. I'm guessing it will still be there even when other stores start putting away their costumes in favor of Christmas decorations just days before Halloween. However, the bag check in service at this particular store was pretty rude, this store would've gotten a much better rating if it weren't for the very rude costumer service at the bag check in station.
30-minute wait on telephone to reach customer services. Still requiring I wait 21 days for refund with no explanation why. The entry process has been exhausting. Please look elsewhere for Halloween items. Home Goods, TJ Maxx, Hobbie Lobby, Party City, Lowes, Home Depot, Sams Club, Walmart and Kohls.
