I don't understand why I should have to pay to ship back defective boots for more than the cost to initially have them sent to me in the first place! A terrible policy to have in place and I know that Sorel doesn't care because they told me flat out that they dont. Stay away!
Bought my teen daughter a pair of winter boots. It took Sorel 2 days to ship it. Then I received a wrong pair of boots. Don't just a wrong pair of boots, but in the box was men's boots instead of women's.
Emailed the customer service... nothing.
Called, been on th phone with 3 people for an hour explaining that we have a lot of snow and my Daugher cannot wear snickers any more. I asked them to give me discount for at least 25% so I could have 30$ to go and buy her shoes until her boots will come because they don't have overnight shipping and it will be another 3 business day ( tomorrow is Friday and it will take them 24 hours to process my order so we won't get it until Tuesday). Nope, they can send me a free shipping label and they can provide me with maximum of 10% discount! Seriously?! What can I buy for 12$.
Really not happy and I won't deal with them ever again. There more companies with good stuff and good customers service.
Save your money and support ANY other company. Sorel's customer service is THE WORST I have ever encountered. Don't waste your time with their products, as they will not provide any helpful support afterwards. I can't wear their "winter boots" in the winter because my feet literally FREEZE. Their solution - 20% another pair of their boots. NO THANKS. I'm not into wasting money.
Basically, they stole my money. I ordered shoes with them for the first time but never received my product. I contacted customer service to let them know and they said they would open an investigation with the carrier. No offer to refund. No offer to replace. A week later, they got back to me and said that the "carrier said they delivered it. Take it up with them." WHAT?! Its now my problem? I have NEVER opened a complain or had this problem. They didnt care and ripped me off. AVOID!
I called to change the order in less than 12 hrs of placing it on line. Supervisor said they can't change other order that hasn't even left them yet. They couldn't give me a tracking number to even refund them once I get them. They don't have a system to fix ANY mistakes. It will take a month to get them, send them back, and an additional 7-14 business days to return my money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company. The boots are over priced and have no customer care at all. The boots I tried to get for my kids were on sale. I have invested over $500 and will NEVER deal with them again!
I have never been more disappointed with a company.
I bought a pair of Sorel Boots at $170 last year. After 2 wears they were unwearable due to the seams completely coming apart.
I then had to spend $30 to have the boots sent to the company in order to claim the warranty that comes with the boots.
I was given a credit to use on their site. Ordered a new pair of boots yesterday evening using the credit and had to pay $7 to cover taxes and shipping.
I go on there this morning to track my package, and the boots I ordered less than 24 hours ago are now on sale for $50 cheaper.
And I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone from their customer service team.
So incredibly disappointed and appauled. Ive spent far too much money trying to buy a single pair of boots form this company.
I ordered a Men's Carson Moc Boot (Style# *******) in size 15. I was sent a women's boot in size 8.
The company offered a shipping label for me to return, which is appropriate. When I went to return the item, I could not use the Sorel-provided shipping container, a bag, as it had been rendered useless with a hole in it upon opening. I purchased a new bag at the UPS store to ship the item.
I saved the receipt and asked Sorel for a reimbursement for the shipping materials purchased for return of an item that they mistakenly shipped, and was refused by customer service, as well as their supervisor. When I asked to speak with a higher-up supervisor, I was refused and directed to their website to file a complaint.
Absolutely awful customer service. I will never give them my money again, and I hope that you don't either.
So I bought myself some boots they sent it to the wrong address tried to blame me didn't give me no refund and I lost my money and boots horrible people I would never order hear again
I am so disappointed with Sorel's delivery. From day one I was checking my delivery status on their webpage and it just appeared that it was delayed, incorrectly because they were not!. Anyways the boots got delivered and as I was not aware, I LOST THEM. I would have gotten them if I knew the correct delivery date. I just lost $144 dolars and they refuse to give me a refund. Never ordering from SOREL again.
Ordered shoes and opened an acct for free shipping. Chose free shipping. AFTER order was placed they charged me $19 for shipping. Emailed and they said they would return my email in 7-10 days. Chatted recieved no help from rude employee, Teanna B. Called and hold time was 17 minutes. I held and then it said hold time was 18 minutes. I held and you guessed it 19 minutes hold time. I couldnt make this stuff up. When I finally spoke with someone he complatly understood the issue but would do nothing about it, Have put stop payment on credit card. Absolutely awful service for turned out to be average/poor quality shoes.
After reading so many other reviews of delivery and refund problems, the only conclusion is SCAM. My order was tracked all the way to being loaded on truck for delivery, then for some unknown reason, it became undeliverable and USPS noted the package was processed for return to sender. I contacted Sorel for a cancellation and refund and was told they can't issue refund until the package is received at the warehouse. I knew something was wrong. I waited seven days and called and chatted with Sorel. Was told to calm down, was told the package was not received, that it was received, that it was not received. Then I was told they have to investigate. Investigate what? USPS tracking is clear. I tried to contact Klarna and now know that is impossible. Klarna is a robot. Sorel is a SCAM.
I got a Sorel as a gift, and tried to exchange the color, but the company just told me they don't do exchange! And for a return, the refund would go to the person that bought the gift, not for the person that received the gift. Unbelievable!
So I would have to bother the person that gave the gift because the company is inefficient and has a terrible costumer service. That is unbelievable in 2020! Shame on you, Sorel.

We ordered a pair of shoes on December 20th, it guaranteed delivery before Christmas but at most 3-7 business days. The shoes did not arrive on time, no big deal. But now the tracking number says the label was created but package never picked up. I email Sorel this morning, the guy tells me via chat-I am not sure what happened but I will issue the refund today. Once you get it, then you can reorder and we will give you free expediated shipping, he was leaving notes in the account. I never got the email confirming these changes so I chat back and get a different representative. This guy says no, that is not policy. You have to wait until January 4th and if they still dont show up, then we will give you a refund. Nope! Sir, 7 business days at most was Decemver 29th and completely opposite what the guy this morning says. Well he was wrong, and even though that is what the delivery you selected says-hidden in our company policies says 11 business days. You can either a-purchase them again and we will send you a COURTESY return label (ha!) or b-wait your time until the 4th and then request a return label if they dont show up. SCAM. LIARS. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.
Spent $150 on Sorel Men's Alpha Pac Extreme Snow Boot and they are NOT WATERPROOF! They feel great until you wear them outside in the snow. These "extreme snow boots" will have you extremely COLD and WET!
I thought Sorel's would be high quality. DON'T BUY!
As with numerous other customers who have contacted Sorel's Customer No-Service with a simple warranty issue, it fell on deaf ears with an incompetent Sorel rep who helped them lose yet another customer. Your rep would rather see a customer who bought your garbage product go elsewhere, than rectify a simple issue and provide decent service. Runaround to the extreme, don't believe the claims of warranty coverage. Sorel, READ THIS - Keep manufacturing your product to the lowest standard in China and don't be surprised when your loyal customers go away to your competitor(s). Sorel - Your customer service greatly needs training and CUSTOMER RETENTION SKILLS! I'll never buy another Sorel product as long as I live (nor will anyone who I can get to listen to me tell my story). The Internet is a very powerful tool, I sincerely hope Sorel has enough marketing money to wash away all the negative reviews and vitriol that your former customers have for you.
I purchased a pair of boots from Sorel. Shortly after receiving my purchase, the boots went on sale. The sale price was $30 cheaper than I originally bought them. Contacted customer care, waited over and hour for someone, and they informed me that they do not do price adjustments. This is not stated in their policy "terms of sale" nor when you checkout is it stated. After talking with several customer service personnel, they don't care much about honoring the sale price for their customers. I can see if it was after 30 days but it's only been two weeks since my purchase. They directed me to their customer care site where you have to search for this "policy". It's not clearly stated anywhere. They informed me that I could return the boots and reorder them at the sale price. That makes no sense. Why would I pack the boots up, return them, then reorder them. It's ashamed that they prefer to do business this way. I really love their boots and this was my first purchase with them. Not that they care, but I won't be ordering from them again.
I ordered a pair of Sorel boots for women and received Columbia shoes for men! How does that make sense? When I contacted them to get the boots I ordered, I had to REPURCHASE the shoes I wanted and would NOT get a REFUND until they received the Columbia shoes first! This means, I have to drive out of my way to return the shoes that THEY MADE THE MISTAKE WITH, PAY ANOTHER $200 FOR THEIR MISTAKE and wait AGAIN for my shoes! Additionally, I was on the phone for 30 minutes taking care of all of this. Extra time, money and travel is something I should not have to endure due to THEIR MISTAKE. Terrible service and I will never order from them again!
So I ordered a pair of boots from this company and I did make an effort to buy somewhere else but even Amazon had it for more. Ordered it, entered all the credit card info, shipping address, no problem. I got a confirmation and my bank account was debited for the amount. A few minutes later I get the email that is attached saying that "unable to be processed, as the information supplied didn't meet our payment requirements.
Thanks for your interest in SOREL.". Talk about a door slamming with no explanation. I made the mistake of calling customer service and wasted 18 minutes (see attached) with a guy who sounded like he was typing everything. At the end of it all he could not tell me "for my security reasons" why he couldn't tell me what happened. He was willing to charge my card again for another order if I wanted to. Really? Made it this far in life to have him do that! At the end of the day, I was on hold a long time, didn't get what I ordered, didn't get an explanation and dealt with someone who really wasn't qualified to stir coffee. Do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else. We did. There are plenty of boots out there.
I love love love Sorel. Amazing quality products! I've never had a problem getting my orders in a timely manner or exchanging items that didn't work for me. :)
I placed an order on cyber Monday for some boots that were part of the 50% deal days. Pretty straight forward order. Got an email said my boots would arrive on Friday but they came Sunday. Not a huge deal on my part just annoyed but all good. I opened the package…. Completely different style boot and the size was way off. Contacted customer service. Said that "these things happen" and explained the process.
1) would send me a return label to send the boots back. Figured that would be the case but huge inconvenience (I have a newborn so hard to get places)
2) they would send me the correct pair of boots.
3) I was going to be charged for the new pair but won't get a refund until the other boots are returned.
4) I paid 84 for the boots. Since the sale was over I would have to pair more for the boots I ordered. But not to worry they would refund me the difference once the boots are shipped.
5) they would send me the link to order the boots and I have to put in all the information again so essentially I'm doing all the work for them to order another pair of boots
6) at this point if I would have agreed, I would be out about 170 dollars and the gas and inconvenience of returning the package to ups.
And that's it. Nothing else for my troubles. Even 10% off I would expect but nothing except for free shipping which is laughable.
I opted to just ship the boots back so have to find time to pack up my child to bring back boots I didn't order. It's unreal.
Answer: Me too! Have you received yours? I havent! Not even a shipping notice.
