Ordered a pair of boots and was excited as they looked super cute. Takes a whole week to arrive and the sole of the right boot doesn't go all the way to the toes, so there's this massive awkward gap... Initiated return and re-ordered and the customer service rep promised me that defects are "SO SUPER RARE". Waited another whole week to get the boots only to find out that the LEFT BOOT WAS DEFECTIVE with the EXACT SAME ISSUE AS BEFORE. Un$#*!ingbelievable. I reach out to customer service and his response was just: "our apologies but you have to print the shipping label yourself and go to UPS and return it. There's nothing we can do". You're dead to me, Sorel.
I have never been more disappointed with a company.
I bought a pair of Sorel Boots at $170 last year. After 2 wears they were unwearable due to the seams completely coming apart.
I then had to spend $30 to have the boots sent to the company in order to claim the warranty that comes with the boots.
I was given a credit to use on their site. Ordered a new pair of boots yesterday evening using the credit and had to pay $7 to cover taxes and shipping.
I go on there this morning to track my package, and the boots I ordered less than 24 hours ago are now on sale for $50 cheaper.
And I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone from their customer service team.
So incredibly disappointed and appauled. Ive spent far too much money trying to buy a single pair of boots form this company.
I ordered a pair of shoes that were sent to me in the wrong size. I ordered a 12 in womens and received a box that said 12 but, when I looked at the shoe inside they were a size 8.5. I am very frustrated because I spent an hour on chat with someone who ended up being so rude and unprofessional. She ended up being no help and telling me I had to call the customer service line for my request to be fulfilled…after i waited an hour on this chat…she also took about 5-10 minutes to reply every time I talked to her. So then she disconnected me from the cat without responding to me which made me even more mad about this issue and frustrated with the company. I asked her if she could send me a return label and send me the shoes I ordered in my correct size and I was told I had to call customer service to get that. I also requested to be refunded for part of the shoe since I ordered these about 2 weeks ago and they just got here and she ignored that request and said I needed to call customer service for a price match. So, after I wasted my time on the chat I called customer service who told me they could help me with the return and send me a label, which they did successfully BUT they told me i would have to reorder the shoes at the current price which was about 20 dollars more than I paid for them, he mentioned nothing about a price match. Why would I reorder the shoes at a higher price? So, I am here waiting on chat for another hour to request a full refund for the ones I am returning and a FREE pair sent to me in the correct size because of the headache I have had to deal with. I needed these for an event that I now am not able to wear at AND I have dealt with two people who have offered me no solution to getting a new pair sent to me for the price I ordered them at in my correct size. I am also requesting to get info on how I can get an email address to send someone higher up then this customer service line a message because on the website they only give the chat and phone number as an option and both have been useless. I am so disappointed in the poor customer service this company has displayed to me so far and will not ever order from this company again because of this experience.
Ordered boots and still have not been delivered. Today's price is $42.50 cheaper. Called for a price adjustment and their answer is to physically send the boots back and repurchase. Then put me on hold for 17 minutes and then hung up on me. Horrible customer satisfaction!
I ordered a pair of Sorel boots that arrived scratched, so I decided to return them. Despite the fact that the shoes were damaged, I had to pay for return shipping. In addition, because Sorel didn't package them appropriately, I ALSO had to buy another box to return them. Good luck trying to get a hold of someone in customer service. Wait times are over an hour. Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything from them ever again!
Exceedingly disappointed in Sorel's purported Customer Service. I broke my foot immediately prior to receipt of Order number ******* and have only recently recovered to the point where I could try on the boot. Upon doing so, I see they do not fit right. I contacted Customer Support and advised of the extenuating circumstances, they refused to make an exception to their 60 day return window. I spoke with a supervisor who had the idiocy to suggest that she could provide a pre-paid return label, however the warehouse would reject the return upon receipt. (How's that for efficacy?) This lack of courtesy was following the pleasure of being on hold for 23 minutes. Sorely dissatisfied with this sad excuse for customer care.
Ordered boots that were defective online. Sent them back at my own expense to be assessed. Heard nothing for 6 weeks. Get an email saying I have a $100 credit. The boots were disposed of. They cost $197 +tax and shipping and ARRIVED DEFECTIVE. Whole thing was horrendous. They were a special Christmas gift from my mom that took her hours to choose. Will never buy sorel.
Sorels look nice and rugged. However... The quality of workmanship is terrible. My top of the line snow boots ($250+) fell apart on the same day, like magic. The plastic soles on both feet cracked, and the upper seam which appeared to be sown is actually just cheaply glued. Of course they are made in China, home of the cheap fake goods. There are so many other quality made boots you should buy before wasting money on Sorels
I am so disappointed with Sorel's delivery. From day one I was checking my delivery status on their webpage and it just appeared that it was delayed, incorrectly because they were not!. Anyways the boots got delivered and as I was not aware, I LOST THEM. I would have gotten them if I knew the correct delivery date. I just lost $144 dolars and they refuse to give me a refund. Never ordering from SOREL again.
Tried in a pair of sorel shoes in a Columbia store and loved the look and feel. Went on a hike and it killed my feet. I called the store and they referred me to sorel headquarters. They told me to send I. The shoes and 4 weeks later, they send the shoes back to me saying there is nothing wrong with w them. I am beyond angry. I am a fitness trainer and buy about 7-8 walking shoes a year... never have come across a company that doesn't back up their shoes. So $100 for wearing their shoes once, and they don't take it back. What a crappy company. Never again am I touching this brand. Obviously there are a lot of people thinking the same thing with a score of 1 out of 5?!
I accidentally chose wrong size so I called immediately to change my order. This company sucks beyond measure. They keep you on hold on the phone for 2 hours and 46 minutes in a cue with a message saying you're moving forward only to hang up on you after you leave a message. The chat feature online never puts you through to anyone. I will be sending back my order and never buy from them again.
Granted, it doesn't snow often in Portland OR. But just in case, I've had a pair of Sorels tucked in my heated, dry garage for years. I've worn them maybe 10 times.
It snowed last night. I started to put on my Sorels, and large chunks of the outer rubber broke off on both boots, and on one, the stitching completely came apart on one side.
I know they're too old for a warranty claim, but they were fairly expensive when new. Given the lack of wear and the care with which they were stored, there's no excuse for this.
My package was stolen off of my porch but according to ups, they keep saying it was delivered! I think it's ridiculous that you have to wait several weeks while they go through an investigation but the least they could do is give a store credit in the mean time. I really wanted the boots I ordered but never imagined this would happen so unfortunately I will not be ordering from them in the near future or referring them to anyone!
I ordered 2 pairs boots and a pair shoes. Got the boots. Still no shoes, and no updated tracking info. I called customer service 3 times & waited over 3 hours each time only to speak to 3 agents who were unhelpful, apathetic and all gave me the same scripted responses that they are doing an " investigation ". LOL. Oh and each agent sent me an email stating a supervisor would call me back and never happened. Finally talked to manager, Kristina B who was just as unhelpful! She insists they cannot possibly refund my money because of the " Investigation " and that she will get back to me by email. I've never run int such greedy, lack of customer service from such an expensive and profitable company. Oh, and Kristina actually said I can Mail the shoes back fir a refund if they up! Get over yourselves! Amazon, Banana Republic and Macy's will refund you or ship out another exact item for lost items. Sorel needs to seriously improve their customer care!

Ordered slippers on 11/30, for christmas gift, the latest update is that i might receive them on 12/28. But they haven't shipped yet. Forget about calling customer service as the wait time starts at 120 minutes... so i put it on speaker and the wait time goes up to 140 minutes over the next 45 minutes. Also chat doesn't even work. It just says, we are busy so you'll have to call. The worst customer experience ever.

I placed an order on Dec 8 for a gift - I checked the holiday shipping dates which says orders placed by Dec 12 would be delivered before Christmas. After placing the order I received a delivery date of Dec 18. As of today, Dec 17, my order is still in pre-shipment. I contacted customer service, and after a fairly long wait time spoke to Jeff who offered nothing - I asked to cancel the order - "Sorel can't do that"; I asked to change the delivery address - "Sorel can't do that"; Sorel won't honor their own shipping deadlines. For the time I wasted talking to customer service, all i got from Sorel was too bad, you'll get your package when you get it. I've ordered items from other companies after Dec8 and UPS/USPS have already delivered them. I've sent email to a Sorel VP who's email address I located online - no response, not that I expected one. I called their corporate office and was given the run around - only customer service can help - yeah the guy who gets paid probably minimum wages can resolve this. It's clear Sorel doesn't have one bit of concern for customer satisfaction.
I placed my order November 27th and paid for 3-7 business day delivery. The tracking information says the item still hasn't shipped and now shows expected delivery on December 24th. The wait times on the phone are insane, there is no email address to communicate with. The website still says if I order now it will arrive by Christmas. How can that be when the slippers I ordered in November probably won't arrive by Christmas? So frustrating!
Answer: Me too! Have you received yours? I havent! Not even a shipping notice.
