I went for a consultation and they recommended what I needed. After receiving how much I literally had a heart attack. It was like buying for a car. I decided I'm not doing this. Expectually when the are going to cut me from one end to the other to stretch the skin.

I went online and completed a form so someone would contact me for a consultation. I was texted a few minutes later. The person asked for my basic information and birthdate which I shared. Then the person proceeded to ask me medical questions. When I expressed that text messaging is not private/encrypted, the person texting said, I could not schedule without answering and did not provide an alternative way to communicate. SMS text messaging is not HIPAA compliant if your text contains protected health information (PHI).

UPDATE: They contacted me and tried to pass off that this is a legal activity. This demonstrated that they have no clue. This company should not be in business.

This review is an update to my second update after management reached out to me after my initial review. I did receive the gift card that was supposed to be reimbursed for my gas, however, the gift card couldn't be used for gas, but instead to places like Walmart, Amazon, Starbucks etc. The end.

I was told totally different than what happened. When you go there, they sell this to you as this great thing. First of all they had to reschedule my date after I already took off work. When I had the surgery it was the worst pain I have ever experienced. Three months later, I actually gained weight rather than lost. They would never answer the phone when you called keep you on hold when I went back for my check ups they acted as if they didn't care. I paid almost $10,000. That was for the stomach, the abs, and waist, and thighs. They only did the stomach abs and waist the first time. When I went back and told them, I was not pleased they told me they would refund the thighs I was supposed to have done which was $2500. I had to call them back several times and they kept telling me someone would get back with me and never did. Finally spoke with someone and they said they never said that. Then they hung the phone up on me when I started getting upset over it. DO NOT waste your money on this. It is a gimmick that is very painful.

So I scheduled an appointment at Sonobello, about 3 months ago. It was on a Saturday. I got there on time, but the person before me was not. I sat out in the lobby for almost 2 hours. This couple finally show up. The receptionist was very friendly she came over and handed me a $5.00 Starbucks. Then it was my turn. I go back to the room/office. All the shades were open and the young lady ask me what type of service was I seeking? I said the liposuction in my tummy. She asked a few other routine questions. She then said ok stand up over here and raise up your shirt. I was uncomfortable because all shades were open and you could see into the adjacent offices in the other businesses.So immediately she says oh no you're not going to be able to get it and she pointed at the top of my stomach. She goes because you're stomach base is out too far. I said that's the purpose of me coming here. She goes I'm trying to save you some money. So after a 2 hour wait, a $5.00 gift card, a reveal to the world it was a no for her "dog" after about a 2 minute exam. I walked out extremely disappointed and sat in my car. Shortly after she was seen exiting the building. I really don't want to put any stars but it won't allow me to move on without at least selecting 1.

I had a consultation with Dr. Hsu in Beverly Hills before my surgery. I was doing stomach, hips, back bra line and waste. The healing has been interesting, some incision sites have not healed yet, going on 4 weeks, and the tightness is unbearable. I can not bend back or stretch my stomach. It feels like the stomach muscles are ripping. I called to speak to the Doctor yet each time I call I get a medical assistant who tells me to put on a warm compress. Are you kidding me? My stomach muscles are torn apart and I can't bend and she recommends a compress?
Overall the doctors and staff are all inexperienced. If they had more experience they would have their own practice and not work for the factory farm called SonoBello.
I've requested and MRI from my regular physician because I believe Dr. Hsu has caused some massive internal damage.
The doctor isn't ever available and want there for my 1 week follow up and there isn't another follow up for 3 months. Yet I am healing in a deformed way. If you want professional help for your fat removal, find a professional plastic surgeon. The ones hired by sonobello are inexperienced, bad, not board certified, have no real skills or for some other reason they work for a company instead of have their own practice. It's just awful what they do to thousands of patients. All the disfigurements across the US. It has got to be illegal, to rush people through surgeries and not have a proper recovery plan or a doctor available post procedure.
The biggest red flag for me was during the consultation with the doctor after I paid 9k, you only see the doctor after you pay, he asked ME if I was a physician! I assume it's because I was asking intelligent questions pre surgery….
Keep interviewing other places and don't go with Sonobello. I would never recommend to a friend and I wish I didn't do my stomach. It's so ugly now, before I could wear a bikini and now I'm so deformed I could never. You can also see where the cannula went into my side for the back bra line. I have a long indent on the side of my body.
It's just awful.

I am very unhappy with the results of my procedure. I have expressed this constantly. I did a revision and I thought that would help it but no it didn't make a big change. I had difficulty after the first procedure. All of my stitches opened and I was burned from the lazer. So now I have a large dark burn on my stomach that will not go away.it was a terrible experience and I do not recommend doing it. It cost alot and the results are not what was expected. Now I have to live with this mistake. I would like for them to offer some of my money back. This was paid in full. NOT A HAPPY WOMEN!

My friend and I went in January of 2023 for a consultation. At that time they suggested the tri-sculp package!
We did ask questions. We decided to go ahead and schedule that procedure for both of us. They told us that "most people have this procedure done on a Friday and return to work on Monday"!
My friend and I both went for our pre opt. Appointment and my friend had her tri-sculpt procedure done first.
I can't begin to tell you the pain she endured. Yes they did give her a prescription for pain medicine, that did NOT touch her pain. After 4 day's she was still in so much pain.that the Doctor had to call her in another prescription!
After seeing what my friend went through, I went ahead and CANCELED my procedure. Because I had my pre-opt appointment they did not want to refund my money!
These people upfront only care about the all mighty dollar. They are liars and deceiver. They said we would feel "slight discomfort". They never told us what it was truly going to be like. The added expenses like lipo foam,lipo. Roller and the pads you must purchase afterwards.
We feel this is FALSE advertising!
If we can stop one person from going through the pain and suffering.my friend went through then I feel we did all we could do!
It is now the third week of April and my friend is still in the compression garment and had to wear it 23 hours a day! No baths for 4 weeks and all the PAIN!
I eventually received half my money back $5195.00 but I told them if I didn't get something back I would get a lawyer, get ahold of contact 6 and go to social media! But because we went to the pre-opt appointment you sign papers and from that day forward there's no refund. It took over a month to receive my check.
Please if anyone is thinking of doing the tri-sculpt, BEWARE! As my friend will say "yes you do see a difference, BUT it is not worth the pain and suffering she went through and continues to go through"!

After an extremely painful surgical experience at Sono Bello I was left with 2 belly buttons. I can only assume the doctor was trying to make his incision where my natural belly button was but since they move you through your procedure as fast as they can I guess he didn't care to take the time to do it right. The doctor was in such a hurry to get my procedure done the pain medication didn't have time to kick in so all I felt was stabbing pain throughout my abdomen for 2 hours. They are sloppy and rude and all they want is your money. DON'T GO TO SONO BELLO! I was supposed to go back for a 2nd procedure on my hips and thighs but there was absolutely no way I was going back there for more torture and more scars! Please don't go to Sono Bello! They perform your surgery while you are still awake and it is very very painful and you'll be left with scars and unsatisfying results. I had my procedure done at the Sandy Utah office.

Sonobello engaged with me on these matters and we have resolved the matter. Their customer service department was friendly and understanding.

I wish i wouldnt have gone there. I feel like the staff is nice, but it feels fake mostly like at a car dealership. I had upper, middle, lower abdomen lipo, along with back bra area and pubic area done. I.mafe it clear this was my one shot at feeling and looking confident after years of hating my stomach from having kids very young. Despite feeling pain during the procedure, I was still optimistic. Recovery went well in the beginning and I did EVERYTHING they told me to. At about the 3 month mark I noticed my stomach getting hard and protruding. I called and went in to see the nurse. She wasn't sure what the issue was, but felt that they may need to do a touch up procedure. After that I was scheduled to see the Dr that did my procedure to which I was told by her that I had only lost 20 lbs and to come back when I lost another 20. Her attitude and everything was horrible and I could tell even the nurse was shocked by what she was saying. I left there in tears, which I rarely cry. I was told I could get a second opinion from another surgeon there, which I did. I was told I would need my stomach muscles sewn. Basically a traditional tummy tuck, which I was told in my consult I wouldn't need. $15k later I still hate my stomach, but now because it looks like I'm trying to smuggle a beach ball in it. I look pregnant which is EXACTLY why I had the procedure done. I'd just like a refund to cover the cost of the next surgery.

I would seriously recommend that you do your due diligence and learn everything about this procedure. I was told during the consultation that I would not feel pain because of the medication they give you… it hurt so bad I nearly jumped out of my skin during the entire procedure. I had to go back for a redo and again it hurt so much… it's been over 9 months now and I'm not happy with my results. I will be making an appointment with a Board certified plastic surgeon. While looking on line I read that when they do not use anesthesia to put you to sleep during the procedure, it means they are not Board certified plastic surgeons, not sure how true that is.

They had 6 months to review my medications and health history. My first pre-op, they said I needed a medical release which they could've mentioned in any of those 6 months prior to my procedure so my procedure was postponed. They had no real solution, no other options, they just pushed my appointment that I had been waiting 6 months for back another couple weeks. Then they dismissed me as a patient, probably because I had words to say about their backwards policies. Go somewhere else, they just don't care at all for your outcome or we'll being. They only care about the money! F them! They ruined my dream.

Dr canceled twice a day before after I've asked for day off of work. Never got my 6 month check up due to him canceling. I feel my results are botched. Told me not to get massages after procedure but everyone I've asked said they did massages for better results. Would not recommend at all. Do better with customer service please

Don't go there! Everyhitng they said BIG FAT LIE! They care only abut the money that they sucking from you, not about people! Procedure is very painfull, recovery is horrible and taking so far 2 weeks for me. Already have some concern about the results as well! Customer service is Horrible in locations - Hanover, Maryland and Tyson Corner, Virginia. They throw you away like piece of meat and nobody will call you to find out how you feel. You will lose a lot of blood and you will need some special food and juices but you have to find out that by your self

The staff is above and beyond. I was unfortunate to get an infection. I would have to drive over an hour for them to look at me an change antibiotics. Now I have to go to a wound care clinic once a week. Most painful recovery ever!

Anybody wanting to get this service should really reconsider, My experience was terrible and the fat just returned but to other parts of my body leaving me with a weirdly shaped body. It's too expensive also,

So I had liposuction on my stomach from Sono Bello like 6 years ago. It turned out decent. But it was by no means perfect. I actually ended up losing a lot more weight and decided to have a tummy tuck with skin removal. I had my tummy tuck 3 months ago with a board certified plastic surgeon in Beachwood, Ohio. I am so glad I did, she did an amazing job. So after my tummy tuck I have a little extra padding in my pubic area which I don't like. I did ask my the plastic surgeon what the cost would be to have that area liposuctioned out. She quoted me 1,800 that is under anesthesia. I went to Sono Bello today and they quoted me 4,000? Seriously? How can a board certified plastic surgeon cost less than Sono Bello? I couldn't even believe it. I was trying to avoid going under anesthesia because I have bad results from that, but seriously Sono Bello that quote was ridiculous. They lost my business. I would have gone to them to avoid going under and would also have gone to them for other things in the very near future. I won't be going back and I don't recommend them.
