This is hands down the worst company I have ever worked with. They refuse to work with customers even though they are the ones that messed up. I order a 10" sub and got sent a 12" tube sub that is not even close to what I needed. The company failed to make any of it right. The item I ordered was an older model so it was near the end of stock. So instead of giving me the newer model or making anything right they just worried about me sending the product back to them. And on a side note the item was supposed to be shipped on a Friday and was not here until Wednesday the following week which seems a bit extreme. Then when I called about it and they wanted me to send the item back before they could even send me the item I ordered, if they were even going to send me the item at all. It took me 3 calls before someone finally told me they were not going to send me the new model and that they need to receive the item before they even issue a refund so now I have to wait to get my money back because of their mess up to even get the item I want which I will be ordering through Crutchfield. Which means and item that should have been here in 1week would have taken almost a month to get, which seemed a non issue for them. They have the worst customer service of any company, They do not care about you just money.
Ordered an item on the 14th was supposed to be delivered the 21st now says the 26th and counting! If your going to advertise a certain delivery time then you should uphold it!
Great shipping very fast but I received the wrong item and it's mainly my fault but trying to get someone to help me over the phone is ridiculous the wait time Is crazy but overall 10/10 is my rating

I recently bought a radio on a Monday and I received at my doorsteps on that Wednesday. The sound quality was great and I also received free items to go along with the install.
I have been shopping there for 10 years or more and probably spent 5k there. They sent me the wrong product and ignore my return request(for 2 months). Won't return emails, won't answer there phone.

I looked for a headunit that has built-in GPS navigation. When I use the filters to show the stereos with built-in GPS, some come up. When I look at the ads for the stereos that interest me, some parts of the ad says it has built-in GPS while the other parts of the SAME ad says navigation uses your phone. Really? Finally found one that says "built-in navigation". I bought two, on two different orders. When both orders arrived, I installed one and upon poweron, I quickly noticed there is NO GPS on the damn thing. I requested an RMA on both orders -- one opened, one completely unopened. They denied BOTH RMAs. What the kind of crap is that? I will never shop there again.
Ordered some kicker speakers for and wires for my rear doors and they came super fast and they sound amazing. I have ordered from here before and will again.
I was excited that they offered 2 day shipping with a promise to have my package by the 8 of April and after order was complete all of a sudden it said I wouldn't get package till the 11th just like that it was the same as free shipping and waiting the same 5 days and saving the 70 dollars they charged me for 2 day shipping they told me its not there problem that FedEx can't ship it to me by the 8th they didn't care that they advertised i would have it by the 8th not there problem didn't bother to help me.

Prices are as cheap as other sites but you get great discounts on complimenting products like subwoofers and free sub boxes. I sometimes do research on other sites but always come here for purchase.
I have purchased many products over the years from sonic and I will not be spending another dollar with them. I purchased an amplifier that was defective. I sent an email asking what I should do as the output wattage was about half of what it should be. The customer service rep responded once a day for about 4 days but only asked basic questions. Never introduced themselves, never asked my name or how they could help. After the last email, I woke up today to an automated email from Sonic saying that an RMA was opened for me. Nothing from the rep, no explanation, no conversation with the customer asking what I was looking to accomplish, nothing. I called to speak with someone and the woman told me that I needed to complete the RMA to get a new amplifier. I explained that I already ordered a different amplifier because the current amplifier wasn't performing and I didn't trust that brand anymore. I asked if we could move the RMA over to a refund instead of an exchange. She said she wasn't able to do that because they can't sell it as used. I said, you are willing to send me a brand new amplifier as an exchange, why not just keep that new one as the return? So now, I have an amplifier that doesn't work, I have to pay $18.95 to ship it back to them, so they can send me another amplifier to which I then have to sell to someone locally. (That was her suggestion, that I take the replacement and sell it to someone) Save the headache and don't buy from them. Amazon will let you return with no questions asked.
Placed order on a Monday, received by Thursday....wow super fast and accurate shipment. First time customer, but will definitely be back again. Huge selection of all your electronic needs

I couldn't ask for more with my purchase from sonicelectronix. The speakers shipped the same day as ordered and arrived quickly. Pricing with the speakers on sale was outstanding.
I ordered 3 sets of speakers in various sizes for my van. When the 6x9 didn't fit, which I found out is common for some locations due to mounting depth issues, I boxed them up along with the unopened ones and requested a RA. After purchasing a discounted shipping label I shipped them off the same day. After checking my account for a deposit after a few days and not hearing from the company, I tracked the package and found it had been received. No notice from the company as to my refund being processed, or nothing. A few more days pass, nothing. I call and am placed on hold with "5 callers ahead of me" for almost an hour. Call back at 2 pm and opt in for a return call instead of being placed on hold. RECEIVED A CALL BACK THE NEXT DAY! The person on the phone placed me on hold several times to "address my issue" and could only come up with "I'm going to mark this as urgent." It was very apparent that she had no knowledge of the company and worked for an answering service. 5 business days after that, still nothing. This company BLOWS!
Only problem I had was the double din kit I recived was not a direct fit with the stereo I purchased even though it said it was my car was already dismantle and I did not want to go through the process of returning it so I had to shave the sides of the mount in order for the stereo to fit through it so it is not flush with the mount and the stereo antenna was defected so I tried to do my own modifications but still no signal from the antenna now I can't even return it other than that I'm enjoying my stereo

Answer: Because they don't have it in stock. They are notorious for posting products they aren't authorized dealers for and not keeping an accurate inventory of what they do have leading to them having out of stock items available for sale but they cannot fulfill the order because the company that makes the product doesn't sell to them.
