Dustin was my customer service rep who helped me, and let me tell you, he was fantastic! Now mind you, I called Dustin three times on three different days ( I really picked his brains) with a bunch of technical questions about the items that I was interested in as well as needing guidance with items that I didn't know that I needed to complete my audio project from A to Z and Dustin did just that!

I had a FIIO X3II get the dreaded "not seen as storage" defect. Sonic said to ship it in and wait a month for a warranty repair. Now, almost 4 months later, my FIIO is not repaired not returned to me AND Sonic fails to escalate my situation to someone who cares OR even communicate with me about it any longer. I am severely used and disappointed and without my X3II for far too long! I am posting my experience here for you to be aware.
Sent it in two days. Subwoofer came packaged very tight and bagged upon stirofoam. Would definitely reccommend to anyone looking for equipment. (You can use your amazon account too! Get prime shipping)
Great site, everything is easy to find and with their system there isnt any guessing on if it fits your car or not. Ive purchased equipment for three cars from them and its always worked perfectly.
I purchased a stereo for my car, in the past didn't have any issues. This time i did and got no help from "customer service". Wouldn't recommend this business to anyone else
Sonic is very interested to know what is going on with your order. If your item is defective you do have a 60 day money back guarantee and a year warranty as well. It is upsetting to hear that you did not have the optimal customer service experience as well. Please understand that is a rare occurrence. Contacting you now to resolve.
First, I have to say I had been happy with Sonic until now. It begin when I ordered a MB Quart amp, before I Contacted them to ask about delay. I got email to contact them to let them know how to proceed. I called and got customer service (Natasha) very helpful by the way, let me know i have option to wait unknown wait, cancel, or pick another similar one, I went with finding another one. Went with nvx, don't know product my self. So helped me with that, got this amp and swapped out the amp to a currently working system. Blew main fuse as soon as I connected ground. Internal short. Called to get refund, no refund policy for "installed product" I was so disappointed to hear that and I said I didn't use and use for weeks and then return, It didn't work at all, how would I know if it worked or not if I don't install! Only exchange. No help from the 3 different people they passed my call to. Was happy until this. Hope you don't have this experience. I can honestly say I won't recommend or gamble with them in future..

I ordered a Rockford Fosgate Stage II for my Harley. The order was placed on 3/22/2022. The web site indicated 2 to 3 weeks for delivery and when speaking to the sales person on the phone (it was a called in sales order) that it was in stock with the manufacture and I should have it within that time frame without a problem. I have checked on their web site for updates and nothing was present indicating delivery. When calling in today I was told it was a special and they take 4 to 8 weeks. If I had been told that on march 22nd I would never have placed the order. I didn't have 8 weeks to wait then and I don't today. My advice find anoter place to purchse whatever it is you are looking for, if you ever want to receive it! Mike in Texas

I had ordered a CRUX CUB-02 back up camera to replace one that had stopped working. The image on the CUB-02 matched the one that had failed so I ordered it based on the image. When I received it, the wire harness was different. The advertisement shows a female RCA connector and a short wire. The one I received had a male RCA connector with a long wire. Derricka at SonicElectronix worked with CRUX to send the correct harness. Crux sent another but it was identical with what I received. Yes, another male RCA connector with a long wire. I will buy from SonicElectronix again but I will not purchase anything from CRUX nor PYLE. Pyle cameras are useless if the sun is behind you when you back up.
I have never bought anything from this site before, and I am very happy thus far. Search for products is easy by make and model. I will use them the next time I'm in search for equipment.
I ordered a stereo/backup camera on 8/13/18 from Sonic Electronix with 2 day free shipping. It stated the item was in stock. On 8/15/18, I contacted Sonic Electronix because I had not received a shipping notice. They said it should ship that day. It did not. I received an email on the 16th that it should ship that day. I again called on the 17th, Eric assured me it would ship that day. The following week, I received an email asking me if it was a time sensitive order and I replied yes, it is a birthday gift. I have emailed them twice asking for a refund and received no response. Since the 17th I have been unable to reach them by phone. I filed a dispute with PayPal on the 20th which the seller has yet to reply. On Sonic Electroniz website they still show the item in stock and ready to ship. I feel scammed.
I have purchase many times over the years from Sonic Electronix. I the past, their pricing was good, the stock availability was fantastic, their shipping time was very quick and the customer service was outstanding. Unfortunately something has changed. My current order has been split 3 times and the CD receiver I ordered was no longer available so they substituted a better one and split the $$ difference with me. Same happened with the Polk's I ordered... supposedly now a discontinued item but still showing on the website. That seemed fair enough but so far I am still waiting for the final item... a sub enclosure I could have built it but the price was to good to attempt it. Maybe I should have since the order is now 3 weeks old and I am still waiting. Customer service said (after waiting 48 hours via email) it should be in by end of the week and they will then ship it. I hope this turns out alright. I will question whether I use them again or not after all of this is said and done. FYI phone help and call backs seem to be completely useless. E-mail is the only way to contact them but you will wait awhile.
Placed an order and was told "1Day shipping to Tennessee"! THIS IS A LIE! I placed an order on Monday morning and told I would have it on Wednesday. It did not ship until Tuesday evening and not scheduled to arrive until Thursday. Customer Service just responded "it has shipped"! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM IF YOU ARE IN A HURTY FOR THE PART.
I asked for refund after waiting a month for this car stereo and have to this day received nothing what kind of company will takes you money amd you left with nothing
I was very disappointed with my order I ordered a head unit with a free wiring harness and a few other things but wen my order finally arrived it was missing the wiring harness n wen I called to find out what happened they told me I did not order one and that if I wanted one I would have to order and pay for it and if I didnt like it I could return it but would have to pay for shipping myself so my review is not good no attention to detail no personal touch customer service is lacking. I dnt really write reviews but could not stay quiet it's a dirty scam not sending the free stuff so u have to pay again for it so buyers beware shady practices are going on at this business
Nice items packaging was good could be a little better. Shipping was real fast I have not installed items yet but at a inspection it really seams like a quality system.

Answer: Because they don't have it in stock. They are notorious for posting products they aren't authorized dealers for and not keeping an accurate inventory of what they do have leading to them having out of stock items available for sale but they cannot fulfill the order because the company that makes the product doesn't sell to them.
