I ordered an Atrend sealed subwoofer box... Sonic had the best price by far, the item shipped the same day and was delivered across country 2 days later! The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the carpeting on the rear two bottom corners of the sub box is worn right at the edge -- you can see slivers of wood bc there's no carpeting. BUT, it's on the bottom and no one can see it. AND I attribute to the manufacturer not Sonic. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience and will do business with Sonic again!
I order a speaker from them. It took about 5 days to get to me which wasn't bad. But when I considered to return the item I had to pay for shipping and wait for them to do there process of the return. I sent this item early may of 2022. Today it is may 23rd and I called to see where my refund was and was told that there's only two guys that do it and they have been out. Ridiculous! Then she tells me that she will push the return through and I should receive a refund in 3 to 5 days. Exactly what they told me last week. I would not recommend this shop.
DO NOT USE SONIC ELECTRONIX! They sent me a used 12" Alpine sub enclosure. They first said it was shipping damage. Came wrapped in plastic, covered completely by Styrofoam, and not 1, but 2 boxes. They front bezel was covered in scratches and chips definitely used. Could hear loud clunking inside. Hooked up sub, didn't work. Checked my connections with another speaker, just fine. Countless emails and phone calls, they refused to refund my money. Out $450CDN. Save your money. Do not order from Sonic Electronix!
I ordered tweeters and sub speakers for my Mazda 6. The website said the models would fit with no alteration needed. When I received the speakers the tweeters would not fit nor would the speakers. Sonic advertises easy returns. I filed online for a return RA. The website said pending, and no additional information was given. I called Sonic 4 times to inquire about the return, at no time can you speak with an agent, you can only leave a message due to no agents available. I have left 2 voicemails and emailed Sonic. I have never received a response. Now the RA has been cancelled on there website. It maybe easy to order from them but trying to return products seems impossible. Terrible customer service and infrastructure. Shop with somebody else.
Ordered a radio, after more than a week, asked the status. Was told they weren't sure. But they had taken my money. A week later I'm told it is delayed as they have low stock. I ordered one. So I asked to have the order cancelled. Weeks went by. I called and asked again to have it cancelled and was told to expect the refund in 3 to 7 days. Two weeks later still nothing. And they stopped responding to me. Then I contacted my credit card and they are dealing with Sonic. So I can't recommend using this company for anything.
In the fine print: "Any sign of use - including installation, scratches, or other signs of use such as physical marking, screw holes, or similar. Tags, stickers and other manufacturer labels removed or tampered.
Missing parts or the original product packaging is damaged or tampered. "
Oh, and the approved RA I received, it's invalid. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
They will not refund your money if the parts don't fit, even if they say they will.
I bought "Metra"installation kit for off market radio for my car from SonicElectronix Ebay store. The price was good but kit came with the broken clip on the face plate and cannot be installed. According to the company rules, I had to send the whole kit back to get the replacement, but my radio was already installed and I would have to pay the installers to remove and install it again. I asked Kimberly, the sales rep, if I could get replacement only the faceplate with a new one. She solved my problem perfectly by sending me a new kit for my radio. Thanks, Kimberly D.
I like listening to music and I always try to take care of my stereo system in my car. However, recently this stereo system was broken by my buzzed friend, who decided to play tricks with it. I told him that he would pay for the half of the new system because it was broken because of his buzzed actions. He agreed and we faced this service, where we could buy a new stereo system for my car. Fortunately, we found here stereo system which I needed and I ordered it. It was delivered pretty fast and we have already installed it. I believe if my friend wouldn't so buzzed, I would never acquire such a cool system.

Just ordered a new double din from Sonix and it came with a free backup cam. I needed help getting it added to my order. After a quick email with Joanna she gave me 4 different options of cameras. Super quick response time and in the evening was suprising. MY NEW STEREO IS ON IT'S WAY WITH A 170 DEGREE LIC PLATE,NIGHT VISION CAMERA. Can't wait to get it all hooked up!
I recently bought a flip out touch screen stereo from So if Electronix and have to say I am impressed with the quality of the product for such a low price. I really enjoy all the features of it it was a great purchase in my opinion and I would reccomend the product and the website to anybody.
I ordered 2 pair of speakers on Sunday Sept 9th. I was charged for them and received a notice that the "order was in process". The status is still "IN PROCESS" and I have e-mailed, called and tried to chat on line to NO AVAIL. I called 5+ times, waited on hold for the "next available agent" for over 20 minutes each time. I was then told I was "1st in Que" by the automated message, then it told me no one could take my call and to leave a vm. I left vms and still haven't heard from them! I am concerned this company may have gone out of business.
I bought a double din all new inside speakers for my wife's car web sight says they do the research for you and it will send you the parts you need for your install. After recieving my audio equipment I go start tearing my wife's panels off her car to get to all factory speakers went to install the first on does not fit well long story short none of the 6 speakers fit like they said they would they all need spacers to fit. Called the company and all they could say is they are working on getting there info for installs correct. All they could offer me is a sorry and you can return equipment if you want. Pathetic customer service. Took for ever to get ahold of them. (Try crutch field they have all the right info and will give you everything you need to install for free.)
I was looking for a part to help install my car stereo, but it was listed as on back-order, so I called up to see what the availability was and the salesperson I spoke to told me they were supposed to have it in stock in the next few days, and that if I ordered it then, over the phone, he could give me a good discount, and make sure it gets sent out first thing when they receive them. I did end up placing my order at that time, which was July 8th.
The following week I get an e-mail saying that it's on backorder (which I already knew) and to call them if I had any questions. They said it was going to be 1 more week, so I said that was fine. Now 2 weeks later (3 weeks since my order), it still hasn't been sent out. I called a couple days ago to get an update, and the guy was rude, and said he'll have their sales team look into it and they'll e-mail me. 4 days later still nothing. Looking into doing a CC chargeback.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I have tried emailing them, tried support tickets, tried CALLING them, and have gotten nothing. I've been unable to track order status, been unable to verify my email with them, and can't even call them during business hours because all I got was them saying "Call back during business hours." And then they dared send me an email asking me to review products which they never even sent me to begin with. No successful contact with them, and no recieved products. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
From the beginning of my order Natasha was extremely professional and helpful. My part I needed was on backorder and she did everything within her power to assist me. She kept me updated on this critical part and I will continue to do business with you because of her.
Watch out cause if they don't have what you ordered they'll send you something else hoping you'll like it. They shouldn't do that or just notify the customer that they don't have it before shipping it out or offer something close to it. I was ready to do my install and send me the wrong items!
Returned an amp. Never received any update about the amp. Had to call to get a status on the amp. The customer service rep was rude! I don't have paypal, and she kept pushing me to use paypal. Then the company charge to return the product to them, charge you to return it to you, then state tech checks was performed on the itemthen charge for that. There's no proof the check was done just want the consumer to take their word.
We had been looking for inexpensive par cans and got a really good deal from sonic elecontronics on the LED par cans. I will try them again for other DJ equipment as the cans were shipped on time and intact condition.
They sold items stating they would be at my house the next Thursday. Thursday came and they hadn't been shipped. Representative admitted items were on back order. Frustrating they sold items and promised a delivery date, billed my card, and knew they didn't have items.
Answer: Because they don't have it in stock. They are notorious for posting products they aren't authorized dealers for and not keeping an accurate inventory of what they do have leading to them having out of stock items available for sale but they cannot fulfill the order because the company that makes the product doesn't sell to them.
