They don't honor their return policy. Charged me 25% to return a new deck that was dead out of the box. They won't answer the phone, It took 3 weeks and numerous e-mails to get a response. They have basically stolen my money. Don't do business with them.
I ordered two speakers off their website, and they only sent me me one speaker. When I tried to get the problem resolved, they asked me to fill out a form, but I don't understand how that's my responsibility for their screw up. All around just horrible service.
Do not buy from them, they will not provide what they claim to have and them stall to get a refund processed. If the excuse they gave me is true they do not need to be in business anyway. The item I ordered has been waiting for 18 days to ship, the excuse they provided was the system for getting the items is down and they trying to get it back up. That system was able to print a shipping ticket but not get the item. Then its hard to believe they do not have a manual back-up for system issues, they just need to shut down and leave the online sales to better companies. The sad part is I ordered the open box item to ensure it was in stock since it was needed fast, that did not work out as planned.

I purchased a $500 item from their website based upon the excellent reviews. The item was crap, it was one of these high function car stereos. Nothing worked properly. So I wrote a poor review, not scathing, just repeated my bad experience. 10 days later my review still has not appeared. I believe Sonic to be seeding reviews and not posting bad rating reviews.

I had recently purchased a head unit from Sonic Electronix, but realized it was a little too big for my car. To sort out the issue, I called the company and Cory helped me figure out all of the steps I needed to take to send it back and even recommended what sort of stereo system would be best for my car! He was a great help and a great guy to talk to! Then, I accidentally got two shipping labels for the radio I was returning and had to call again to get the second label voided. Jasmine really helped me solve this problem, and even changed the status of the in-store credit I would receive for the return to refund cash being sent straight to my bank account! She was very nice and had an enthusiastic personality, and sounded like she really loves her job! Now I can get another radio while I wait for the refund! And all of this was smooth sailing because both Cory and Jasmine are awesome Sonic Electronix employees! I am definitely getting more things for my car from you guys.
Every product ordered was exactly as advertised. Customer service was great when the mistake was my fault. Shipping was insanely fast and borderline unbelievable. Would and will order from them again.
I bought 4 speakers a sub and an amp for my son for Christmas from SE. The amp was bad, tried to talk to their tech support but no answer or call back, tried emailing nothing, tried customer service no answer so I ordered another amp from them it worked for 2 days and it broke. Finally got a hold of customer service they told me to send both amps back that was over a week ago and they will not refund my money or send a new amp. Looks like I gotta get a lawyer
Purchased a car stereo receiver a couple months ago; the radio function never worked well; screen was flaky, overall low manufacture quality. Sound reproduction was sadly low. Figured it was what it was; got what I paid for. Right after 60 day warranty expired radio completely failed. Wouldn't turn on; sometimes jump in and out with a skipping sound or not start up at all. Hoped Sonic Electronics would stand behind their product that should in all reality last longer than 3 months, but they did not. Very frustrated.
Sonic is very interested to know what is going on with your order. If your item is defective you do have a 60 day money back guarantee and a year warranty as well. It is upsetting to hear that you did not have the optimal customer service experience as well. Please understand that is a rare occurrence. Contacting you now to resolve.
Just purchased my 2nd car stereo from Sonic. This latest one came with the incorrect harness, but called up and Adam, sales rep, took care of it immediately. He was incredibly professional and made sure everything was in order. Thanks Adam and company!

Sonic Electronix website interface, selection and service far surpasses any other companies bar none. Ok starting out I ordered a 5 channel amp they said 2 day shipping I got it 4 days later when box arrived there was about 6 inches of space inside with minimal protection for amp, factory amp box showed banged around damage, I had best buy geek squad instal amp the 8 speaker wire hook ups was bent-loose anyway as soon as they turned it on it smoked out DEAD! I called as I wanted a refund they said no credit only because was hooked up! How in the Hell are you to know it's bad if you don't hook it up? Cost me over $11.00 to return to them over there junk WRONG on every level,,,so anyway I had them send a replacement AND same issue box beet up bad, no popcorn protection inside box this amp does work BUT it was not new very obvious signs it was not new after I originally paid for a new amp also took a couple weeks to recieve the replacement,, IM DONE, WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM SONIC ELECTRONIX AGAIN!
I gave you a chance to fix this when I opened a case against you with the better business bureau.

Please understand that we do follow our warranty. You stated that we did not reflect your warranty because it was 2 months out of warranty. Yes, we will say no because again it is 2 months out of warranty. We then reflected you to the manufacturers number. This is what our representatives are supposed to do. I ordered 2 items and they are 3 days late. They took my money and no tracking is available because it says it's invalid. I've been waiting for 2 hours for a return call. Plz plz you guys... do not order from this company or you to will get screwed over
Placed an order for 2 sets of Image Dynamics 5x7's. Waited until the day they were supposed to arrive and checked the order progress. Still said processing. Processing after 3 business days? So I proceed to email them about the issue. In response they say "the item you ordered is out of stock" well why is it listed as in stock online? Come to find out they aren't an authorized dealer for many of the products they claim to be and they don't keep an accurate inventory either. They proceed to offer 3 low quality options from which I can choose. Why would I pick something of lesser quality than what I ordered? It's a shame I even had to reach out to find out about my order and even worse that it took that to find out they didn't have the product to begin with. Definitely will not be shopping with them no matter how much cheaper they are than others. Customer service and quality is more important than saving the few dollars.
Dont know if this is where u file a complaint bought a battery that died in under 90 days the rep told me this battery had a two year warranty never ask me about buying a extended warrantythis is a big inconvenience had tp purchase another battery so my security system will work mor money than i got to ship it back more money will not be buying nothing else

Absolutely terrible customer service. Never received my speakers and the refused to work with fed ex to find them. I paid $2000 to get nothing and can't get a refund. Never shop with this company
Worse company for customers service. Purchase an amplified DS18 speaker and the extended warranty. It did not work so I contacted them for a refund. They decline the refund and will not let me make an online request for an exchange. So my question is if you're not going to stand behind the product you sell why sell it?
This is the most horrible and scandalous company that I have ever came across on in my 43 years here on this earth. My spouse just got fired from this company because he refused to let customers harass him at let them cuss him out and bully him. His supervisor (N*i*c*k) shunned and ostracized him from the very first day he started. This so called supervisor is forcing his workers to lie to the customers and tell them that the products that they ordered months ago are on their way and they are not even getting any new stock in. Therefore it's a classic Ponzi scheme.
They also have deceptive wording on their website that says "available, ships at a later date" and when someone buys something that doesn't exist they still take the money out of your bank account and draw interest off of it. This place needs to be reported to the Consumer protection agency and the Federal trade commission.
Answer: Because they don't have it in stock. They are notorious for posting products they aren't authorized dealers for and not keeping an accurate inventory of what they do have leading to them having out of stock items available for sale but they cannot fulfill the order because the company that makes the product doesn't sell to them.
