Oh How great is this company - To Good in my eye's, Jesus helped me to the very end, move my newly purchased Office 2019 from one computer to the next (new computer), because a day after I downloaded my original computer *Crashed*, thank-you to Jesus and the Software Depot. I'm Smiling :) Highly Recommended
Bought Microsoft Word with them less than a year ago, installed it and it worked for a while... but shortly after, word shut me out and told me I had no account. Went back to the website and tried to log in, but it told me I didn't have an account with that email address, even though I had multiple emails from them in that address. Definate scam, keep your money.
How the hell this site number one in Google ad words for "Win 10 for workstations"
And for PayPal to authorise payments?
Even when the payment details aren't entered correctly, the payment apparently goes through. Everything looks complete and access is given to the software that you've supposedly paid for. Clearly a website that will collect details of cards and then will wipe your accounts out. Other red flag is if you ask them for there address, look it up and comes up with a law firm in Auckland NZ, there IP address shows Poland and payment is shown in Euros through taken in US Dollars.
Please avoid getting scammed as if you really give the correct payment details they will clear you out! Watch out for this SCAM.
I was looking to purchase MS Office 2019 for Mac from them and wanted to verify that they were selling genuine products prior to my purchase. Rang Microsoft to find out and they were not very helpful at all directing me to their website for a purchase and telling me that "Certified Microsoft Partner" is not something that exists.
Spoke to someone form Softwaredepot, who assured me that they are selling genuine MS products. Was told that they have a verification link on their website, but it just happened to not work at the moment - none of this instilled a great deal of confidence in me. However, the guy offered to stay on the phone with me whilst I was ringing Microsoft to verify the authenticity of the key - after I made the purchase (he'd reassured me that he would remain on the phone call with me until all my doubts would be cleared up, otherwise he would refund the money). Sure enough, the MS agent verified the authenticity of the key, and I'm now installing the package hoping it will work. However, I was impressed with Softwaredepot's agent.
I purchased Microsoft Office software via Software Depot (www.softwaredepot.co). Shortly after receiving the download link and product key I became suspicious that the software may be counterfeit. I contacted Microsoft directly and, after some inquiries, was informed that the product I had been sold was not authorised to be sold in Australia, had previously been sold and authenticated in another country, that the product key was being fraudulently resold along with a counterfeit Microsoft Office program, and that it was not genuine.
DO NOT purchase products from this website. The company is engaged in fraudulent, illegal conduct. Purchase Microsoft software from this seller at your peril.
I have lodged formal reports with Microsoft, PayPal, my credit card company, ASIC, and Consumer Affairs Victoria, and it is my intention to lodge a formal report with Victoria Police and the Australian Federal Police. Hopefully, they will be out of business soon.
I just looked up 80 Walker Street Gordon and it does not exist. The small map shows North Sydney? If they do not know where they are, it does raise questions.
I contacted Software Depot for help in re-installing My office 2016 and Ela has been absolutely fantastic. So patient and helpful I can honestly recommend them for their services. Very Happy indeed.
Ela helped me install my office. They gave me a free upgrade from Microsoft Office 2013 Home and Student to Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus. Thank you
Today I dealt with several staff and found them to be so patient and courteous nothing seemed to be a bother. Leo was very helpful and waited until the whole program was downloaded and made sure that it was working - would definitely recommend them again.
Leo was very efficient and trustful. I've got Microsoft office for an affordable price in less than 20 min thanks to Don Leo's assistance. Im very grateful.
Softwaredepot is fantastic! Prices are reasonable. Very helpful representative and very informative.
Prices are too low. Do not give them your money. Prices for software are too cheap! Watch out! KEEP AWAY
I purchased MS Office from Software Depot for one PC. I had a Windows problem and my PC supplier had to rebuild my PC. I lost all my applications - had no problem reinstalling Norton (not purchased from Software Depot) and others but the Product Key for MS Office was blocked by Microsoft. Microsoft said I needed to contact Software Depot for a new Product Key or a refund. I contacted Software Depot and they said that I have to re-purchase the software. This was extremely unhelpful as the Product Key I purchased should remain active - I wasn't attempting to install it on other devices. DO NOT BUY FROM SOFTWARE DEPOT. You will waste your money and lose the software if your PC crashes.
Softwaredepot.co is a scam website, their address is a hired address and their "head office" doesn't exist, calling the number supplied on their websites re directs to the Philippines, the people who answer the calls are hired to do so. I've since reported this to Microsoft, Google and soon the Police in Australia as well.
After purchasing Windows 10 from these guys & posting a review about the fact that I had problems with installation & how helpful they had been, I received a call from a scammer impersonating a customer support person from Microsoft. They said they knew I was having problems & they were here to help. I thought "Wow, what fantastic customer service!" They then requested that I use "team-viewer" to allow them to "fix" my Windows 10 problems. Then, this very professional sounding person (who knew my name & phone number), hijacked my computer & I was told I would have to pay them by credit card to get my folders back. Coincidence? Maybe. Not that I think it had anything to do with these guys but maybe someone reading these reviews. I didn't have anything on the computer worth paying for so I simply disconnected it from the internet. Later I deleted the Windows program & reset the computer back to imac settings & I haven't turned it on again since. Anyway, beware, because not only didn't I end up not using Windows 10 & therefore wasting my money & but I also ended up with a retired computer (for the moment).
I had no problems with the product key, although I was worried about the fact that they were priced a bit lower than the cheapest non-scam I found elsewhere. I am very happy with my purchase!
I had problems downloading it on my mac and Bryan was kind enough to help me with it. In a few minutes, everything was all setup! Thanks again!
Good service, quick to make sure your products are in your hands and working properly. Thank you very much!
I didn't have to navigate a maze to speak to a customer service representative who was willing to help. My problem was easily solved!
Answer: It's a scam, avoid at all costs. If you are still unsure, submit the order through don't use really card payment information, change a few of the real digits and the payment will still go though, and make the order look real you will have access to the software. Really they are collecting payments details to clear out accounts.
Answer: 100% by from Apple and not this company, you Will get a fake version and they'll then wipe you account out. SCAM
Answer: Absolutely not, the whole thing is a scam and they are just collecting payment information.
