We ordered 2 large canvas prints for my stepson's memorial service. One was very obviously off center. Snapfish only offered to reprint if I paid their already outrageous shipping fee again. Very disappointed in their reaction to a US Army Veteran's memorial service.
I ordered 1200 photos. It's like they shuffled them, not even remotely close to the order I uploaded. I even uploaded in increments of 100 to ensure they would be kind of in order. Every other company I have ordered from, the pictures come in the order you upload. They refused to remedy the situation at all.
One picture was just red.
Most are blurry.
I use a canon SL3 and a 48mpx phone camera.
They aren't bad pictures, just bad printing.
I needed proof of injuries for a medical thing and they're pretty much un-usable. The colours are almost all way off.
Really inconsistent, so you can't depend on them.
The snapfish portal for making photobooks is not bad. The photos load quickly, the layouts are many although the exiting templates don't offer very attractive options. But any photo can be resized in any way, text boxes can be added anywhere. In short, it is very flexible. I was happy with the photobook I designed. But very unhappy with the completed book that was delivered. The quality of the pages is poor, the photographs (beautiful sharp photographs) look washed out, the binding feels like a kid's art project. I have ordered photobooks twice before - once at COSTCO and once at Walmart and both of those sites had much better final products. The pages are not even glossy. And the books are not cheap.
I paid to have prints made of an old photographic portrait. What I received was the portrait with half her head removed. I attempted via email and phone to contact Snapfish. My calls and email were never returned. I filed a chargeback and this hideous business actually disputed it wasn't their problem. Truly one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. You'll regret doing business with these clowns.
If I could leave 0 stars I would.
My delivery was meant to arrive on Wednesday, wasn't even dispatched so I emailed to complain which I suddenly received an email to say my order was dispatched. Still not arrived and I paid for quicker delivery. Rang the customer service number, that the number didn't work. Emailed again to which I still haven't received a reply.
Avoid at all costs and do not use!
I will never order from Snapfish ever again never received my order called customer service and of course I couldn't get through it's a joke
I ordered 287 prints and all came back dark. The quality was horrible. The photo paper is cheap and thin. I am so disappointed in these. I was a Costco user until they dumped their photo printing. They switched to Shutterfly but to me their app is difficult to use, somI I looked for something simpler. WOW! TRASH which is where these prints went.
I contacted customer service and all they offered was a credit for more prints and I would have to pay shipping. And these will be better why? They said maybe my photos weren't quality and it was too dark. I was outside at Disney World and using my DSLR which has never produced a bad photo, even in lousy conditions. SAVE YOUR $$$ and go elsewhere.
DO NOT ORDER PRINTS FOR FRAMES FROM SNAPFISH….I ordered 6x8 prints for a standard 6x8 frame. However, prints measured slightly smaller so did not fit the frame. Snapfish advised that this was due to "tolerance trimming" and print sizes were "approximate". So Snapfish prints are therefore useless for standard sized frames. Extremely disappointing
It took HOURS to upload 200 or so photos. I have the highest internet speed available in my metro, and it took hours. The photos took 8 days to arrive... they all were red and yellow and blurry. I have a professional camera, and 99% of these photos had been printed before, I was printing to make a new album and they were all awful. Some red, some yellow... some cropped and blurry... I did not request any modifications.
Fast forward to me contacting them through chat. I waited over ten minutes in a queue... didn't touch anything and went from 5th in queue to 11th where I sat for an additional twenty minutes. Thats where I am now... as I type this up on my laptop... waiting in a queue where I've been for 35 minutes
We made a photo books for an entire basketball team. 15 people. We had all codes written down and were prepared to use them. We completed the book with 78 pages thinking we could get half off additional pages, 60% off entire order for signing up for emails and free shipping over $29. Only one code would work! We expected to pay around $400-500 with codes and it cost $778! Using the best code only, not even free shipping could be combined! I will never ever use this photo site (snapfish) again, very deceptive and after all the work and time to make books, it was a huge disappointment!
Poor app.
Promotional offers are exciting but when you click the button you are NOT taken to the offer but areas to sell you larger prints etc.
It's the ultimate con offer!
I ordered a pint glass with a custom design. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! The print is so clear and the glass is very thick and very high quality, clearly difficult to break. Honestly, it's one of the best gifts I've ever given. They created it within 2 days an shipped it. I got tracked 24 delivery so it arrived on the next day. Very very happy with the service, would definitely use it again!
Every year I make a family calendar. So this year, at the end of January, I made a darling family calendar. The calendars were on sale for $7.99. Then I saw that 8 x 8 tiles were on sale too. So I purchased one photo tile of each grandchild. The tiles were great until I hung them up using the enclosed magnetic hangers. Within 3 hours all 11 pictures were on the floor!
So after purchasing 6 calendars and 11 photo tiles, with the sale, my cost was $64 including tax. Ok, that's fair. Then they added SHIPPING AND HANDLING! S & H was $77.32! It was 120% of the cost of the items. I have never had shipping cost more than the item. I am done with Snapfish. I am going to remove all my photos from their website.
I spent 10 hours working on a photo book that was time sensitive. I saved it multiple times while working on it. When I went in today to finish it up, only the first page was there. Talked to customer service who said nothing saved because I didn't sign in each time. I had never signed out and was obviously logged in then I'd access my book every day. Now I have to start in all over with a different company uploading 125 photos and writing captions. And it will be late.
I am surprised by the negative reviews on this site. I bought holiday cards from them a couple of times and they were all amazing. The photo printing looks very clear. They do cost more than Costco, but I was able to use the 75% off coupon found online, which brings the price down by a lot. I decided to go with Costco this year and Costco was a lot cheaper in price and quality. The pictures are not as clear. Snapfish also allows MANY options to customize the photo to which Costco does not. Definitely should give SNAPFISH a chance. Try making a card and see on how much customizations and card types you can do. There is so much more to choose from than other stores. I am just bummed out seeing the bad reviews on here when I bought from them a couple of times already and they all have been great!
Product: Photo Tiles. I created a project using high rez images (9MB +) taken by a professional photographer with an SLR camera. The images are blurry with horizontal streaks. Pretty evident this was printed on a low quality digital press. The 'photo tiles' are prints that are glued to a piece of foam. Okay for a college dorm, but looks cheap in my opinion.
I contacted customer service on chat, had to upload pictures of the prints and then spent 45 minutes haggling with the customer service rep to issue me a refund. They must be trained to push customers to accept a 'credit' which only allows you to use the refund on the exact product you did before and even breaks out shipping separately. This is clearly designed to reduce returns by making it difficult for customers to use their refunds.
To be clear, the customer service rep DID issue me a refund in the end, but not without multiple attempts to direct me to accepting a credit for one very specific product.
Good luck.
This is by far the most glitchy site I have ever used. All my photos are there, so they are keeping me hostage. I have been calling customer service and IT for years, with one glitch, after another, which makes using the site basically impossible. The glitches never go away. There is always something not working properly or malfunctioning. The quality of the printing has also significantly declined over the years. Save yourself the frustration and upload your photos to one of Snapfish's many much more competent competitors.
Get coupons emailed from Snapfish.l, go to use coupon codes and they never work. Contact the company and nothing is ever resolved
I customized a mug. The mug I ordered had a big white gap between the handle and one of the pictures. And the pictures on the mug were not lined up. I had the mug remade with another trusted vendor. A waste of time and money. It was also so disappointing because it was for a Christmas present.
Answer: I hate snapfish after my Christmas card debacle so I can't help... I'm thinking SHUTTERFLY?
