Smilebox makes it easy to design amazing cards and slideshows to preserve memories and make friends and family 'smile'. I love it. Great product for a reasonable price. Very professional and easy to use.
I was looking for a way to let everyone know our new address and send a holdiay greeting at the same time. Smilebox was able to accomplish both with a nice musical card and e-mail to everyone. Easy to do and fun at the same time.
Whenever I take a bunch of pictures at an event, I go home, choose a Smilebox slideshow, insert the pictures, and send them off to be enjoyed by those who were at the event and those unable to attend. I use the slideshow the most.
Love the program, but they need to move up with the times. They need to provide the option to burn to a thumb drive as an mp4 so that it can be shared without internet service; burning to a DVD is out dated.
I have had smile box for a very long time now and it has bought me enjoyment in the way i have been able to do my photos even done my mums eighth birthday invitations and DVDs very different and brilliant i enjoy smile box very much
So far, so good! I had a little difficulty getting my DVD to play after burning it, but was able to play my slideshow on a different computer with the DVD. It was a lot of fun to make my project and my family enjoyed it very much :)
It's pretty easy to use. A little confusing on getting your pics onto the slideshow. And they don't explain much about the ratios and stuff. In edit, you can't zoom out to get all of the image if your ratio is wrong. A hint to anyone who reads this, make your pics approx. A 6X4 horizontal ratio before you try to upload them to Smile.
I'm not very computer savvy nut I found this site by accident and I have created beautiful photos with music that I can share on Facebook or whoever I want to send them too! I have also used this for a memorial and I couldn't of asked for anything better!
They are scammers. Will charge your credit card without your permission and they will charge you for an entire year. No way to reach them to dispute, they don't even have a phone number.

I like most features. Site is pretty user friendly. Like the selections and cost is good.
Having trouble though with log in and getting to my creations. Was a bit confusing at first.
If I go directly to site there's no way to log in and get to my creations.
If I go to my account again there's no way to get to my creations. I have to go to my email and click on a certain phrase at the bottom of the box to be able to get to the viewing area of my creations... sooo a bit frustrating. There needs to be a quicker more user friendly way to edit a creation.
I purchased the program on the website thinking it was at the rate of $11.67 a month and they charged me for the full year. When I tried to email asking for a refund and cancellation they told me they wouldn't refund. I thought I would be able to pay per month and test out the site to see if I wanted to continue to use it but got charged for the entire year (which was a lot I wasn't wanting to spend right before my rent was due). I was using the slideshow part of the website to create a slideshow for one of my best friends funeral viewing and wasn't sure if I was going to need to use the website after that. After using the slideshow maker I can fully say don't waste your money because the editing options are basically nonexistent. Extremely dissatisfied and feel like the customer service could have been better.
I have used smile box for several years, mostly for creating the holiday slideshows to send to family and friends. I find their application to be very easy to use, with lots of great designs and templates, and customizable to fit your need.
Kuldeep was the only person to respond to my emails and usually responded in 3 days. There is no phone number to call if you need immediate assistance. I signed up for premium, they cancelled my membership before the first month was over and asked me by email for my credit card info. I already put my credit card info in when I bought the premium membership... sure sounds like a scam when asking by email for that info. The program was extremely glitchy and often took multiple attempts to place a photo in the place you wanted it. This was VERY frustrating and time consuming. Smilebox also took away the save to dvd feature which was the whole reason I was using their company again this year. Last year when I used this company it was pretty great, this year it was an awful experience! I do not recommend this company!
I used the free version to create a slideshow for a group of friends. It was easy to use, but still took quite a bit of time to put it together. I could preview it, but when It came time to send it to the friends - impossible. Would move to the send screen, ask me to sign in again, and then nothing. Would not move on to sending.
Customer service almost non existent - no online chat or phone support. I have had several emails with them, but nothing they have suggested has worked. Latest was to uninstall & reinstall to get the latest version. Now I cannot access my account at all, so I have totally lost the slideshow.
I love using this easy tool for all my important birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, etc,
It is so easy to use, can send photos, what ever day you like, YOU decide when you want them delivered,

I ordered the "prime" subscription and had my ecards ready to send to my agents for Thanksgiving. 2 days before, I was unable to log into my account - I was told it was a "technical issues" on the website. Long story short, the deadline had passed and I scrambled to create something new. I asked for a full refund (email correspondence only) and they charged me a pro-rated amount of $19.99 FOR USING NOTHING! Per Lauren K's review, they also charged the annual premium NOT the monthly rate. Unbelievable...
I like that I can make the cards and produce them at home. I have had SendOutCards.com for a long time, but so fare away for me takes 5 or 6 days to process back to my local address. Have to mail on Sunday out on Monday to my address on sometimes Friday or Saturday. Using it for Church contact afraid to trust it.
smilebox.com I can make on day mail nest day and they receive 3rd day. Great for me.
I don't use the Mac alot but when I do I almost always use Smilebox. Like just a few minutes ago I shared a creation with my grandson that I had made of him 5 years ago. What a smile and a hug... making memories with my grandkids and thats what counts. GG
Saving the files doesnt work, it just saves a bunch of jpg's in a folder. Sharing through email gives you the actual slideshow but it has a big white box at the bottom and you cant make it fullscreen. 2/10 would not do again.
I use SmileBox for Facebook covers but it has many more uses which I should take advantage of. Do I recommend it? Absolutely. It's fast and very professional.

Answer: It sounds like the pixels don't support the size you are trying to view it in. Try shrinking the output and see if that helps. If all of your pictures are still blurry, make sure your software is up to date. Hope this helps and congrats on your wedding!
