Sorry won't be back.

Two customers, we ordered: 1 single smash, (6.99) 1 regular fry, (2.99) 1 double smash, (9.49) 2 med drinks $5.98). $25.45 plus tax. Out of salt & pepper. None of these were "combo meals". 3 items, 2 drinks. Asked for utensils, was handed, loose, not factory wrapped, plastic, knife and fork. Sorry won't be back.

Tried the Truffle Burger which came with truffle sauce, mushrooms and cheese. It had about 3 mushrooms on it, hardly any sauce and the beef patty was so dry I almost choked trying to eat it. The double smashburger I ordered was too salty and lacking flavor. The fries were good but what a waste of money otherwise.

I tried Smashburger earlier this month and found the experience unnecessarily complicated, unsatisfying beverage selections, overtly cacophonous, boring restaurant setting, a parsimonious rewards program", and the feeling I had to finish and leave. Plus there is no WiFi. There were napkins everywhere. I was so underwhelmed that I left my remaining coupons behind.

Firstly, A lunch order to go shouldn't require a tip. At checkout I was forced to choose a percentage for gratuity, which I did not want to leave one so I chose the empty option. Honestly unaware that that gave them the option of choosing an amount for the tip. OK! My total for my lunch order was $14.48 plus $50 for a tip! I immediately brought the mistake to the cashiers attention and she tried to tell me even if they refund me I'll only receive the amount of the food back. Asking for a manager was useless. They were no help and attempted to dismiss me to tend to the next customer. I called my bank still unsure if I'll be reimbursed. All I can say is SCAM... Now when it come to the food... even without the previous issue it was not worth the money. The bun was disgusting and the burger was flavorless and dry. The tea was extremely sweet. Well, I know where I'm never eating again.

What customer service?

I've been going to the smash burger in piscataway and the food was good and the service was ok, We did not have to wait too long concidering they had to prepare the food. But reciently we had some problems. God forbid you should ask for a different bun that isn't the standard it seems that they won't even care. And dont go to the one at menlo park mall, it will take too long to get your food and the people serving you had to be reminded that you ordered a shake with your meal. By the way when i finally got my shake the server slammed it down on the counter and left. Then tried to play it off by saying "can i take that from you" the server was taking my empty bin. It wasnt even crowded when we ordered but about 12 people came in and i guess they could not handle the load. If that was not enough they charged us for tater tots that we never wanted and gave me the wrong fries. And that wasn't the first time they forgot to make my shake. We wont be going back to smashburger anymore

They are not the greatest but they are good and better than McDonald's, Wendy's etc. They are more expensive but it is acceptable because you are getting a much better burger.
