I would like a refund of the service cause i spent way too much for the services that were not provided. I wanted gray covered and blonde highlights and my hair came out red and no highlights.

I went into the salon 3 days ago for some Lavender Mint conditioner. Melissa walked over and asked me what I needed. I told her that I needed the Lavender Mint conditioner. We walked over to the product shelf and she took the bottle down and handed it to me. I didn't have my glasses on so I assumed it was what I asked for. I checked out with no issues. Today, I noticed that she had sold me shampoo, not conditioner. I went back today, to swap it out and was told by Melissa, that they were out of the conditioner. She told me that I had picked the wrong product not her and there aren't any refunds. Well, it's her word against mine, but without my glasses on, I wouldn't have even attempted to take anything off the shelf. She told me to look at my receipt about their no return policy and pretty much turned on her heel and walked away. Needless to say, with her uncaring attitude, I won't be back to buy my products there, which I have, many times, in the past. Policy is policy, I get it, but she just wasn't nice about it at all.

I asked for layers in the front and got 6 to 8 inches cut off instead. Like a mullet. And instead of the manager coming to fix it. They told me oh u just don't have to pay. My daughter hair looks horrible. Took her to 3 places afterwards and they all said OMG. Could never even speak cause the lady just continues to talk over me. My daughter just lost so much hair. Worse experience EVER

I had my hair cut earlier this afternoon, when I arrived they had a walk in available so I went and sat down in the chair. I was in and out within 10 minutes, that it's self was rushed. I asked for a mid drop fade and not to touch the top. They went up way to high, and my fade is like wavy all around the side. The one side goes up higher than the other. I usually have a different stylist but she wasn't there. This stylist rushed my haircut and other clients that were ahead of me. And she nicked the back of my neck a couple times.

My hair was down to my butt, I asked for 3 inches off and she cut off 6, the cut is supppppperrrr uneven, like 3 inches uneven from the other side

Lady was a complete $#*! for no reason she is not nice and talked to customers with no respect I would NOT reccomend. She was also being very rude to my special needs client who just wanted a haircut

- Terminated after requesting raises for staff and myself
- Targeted after stepping down from management

- Positive performance evaluations
- Google reviews (2.5-4.5 stars)
- Text messages from Manager Maribel
- Witness statements (coworkers, clients)

*Beware!*

SmartStyle prioritizes profits over employee well-being and customer satisfaction. Consider alternative salons.

I knew I was ready for a haircut on Thursday, on Saturday I called and tried to explain what I wanted and the woman understood, matched me to Dawn and got me in that afternoon. Dawn did a marvelous job, transformation I should say. I am very happy with their talent!

I was in need of a new style/haircut. So I decided to give Smart Style a try. Katy was very talkative and friendly. I told her I want a shag pixie and I showed her several pictures. It looked kinda like what I wanted. It wasn't short enough so I told her and she didn't seem mad. She blowed dry my hair like an old lady. I gave her tip paid and left.

When I got home I wetted my hair so I could style it like I wanted it. The back was way off, one side longer than the other. My sides were uneven. I saved the best for last!

My hair is about 5 inches on top and my daughter pointed out that there's a big section on very top that was CUT about 11/2 short!

OHMYGOSH why did she do that? Was it because I politely told her to cut shorter all over!?

I was done shopping and I walked into the Smart Style Salon in Potsdam, NY. I was greeted by Gabbie. She was wonderful. Very efficient and professional. She was very attentive and made me feel very comfortable. My haircut turned out spectacular.

I went to the Walmart in Kendall FL and I want to partial highlights. They did the whole hair highlighted. I did not want that. I went back for them to fix it and they messed up again turning my hair back to natural color so I put it all that money for nothing. They did not do anything. Do not go to them. It's a total waste of money

After 20 years with a stylist ended up in Catskill for a haircut for a trip I was going on. Sherry made me feel very comfortable and every time I leave I almost feel like a new person. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Great service

I just had my hair cut at smartstyle in claremont at the walmart super center this Thursday. I walked in and asked to get my hair cut and the hair stylist at the counter named Julie was wonderful. She took me right away and asked what type of cut and style I wanted and listened to what I had to say about how I wanted my hair to look and how I did not want to spend a lot of money and gave a few suggestions. Once I decided how my hair style would be Julie got to work and in 15 min I had a wonderful new hairstyle. Thank You Julie. The price for my hair cut was reasonable and I scheduled my next appointment with her again. The place was clean and neat. This will be my new hair cutting salon from now on. Again thank you to Julie who was so patient with me and explained things and listened to what a customer had to say.

$40 for trim and French braid.
Maria did my child's hair. Double price and wrong braid. We arrived early. Hair dresser stopped to help 3 other people during our appointment and blamed us for short 2 minute indecision about whether it would be just a trim or with a layer. Didn't have time for shampoo. Not sure if double booking or no front desk help. Cut was even.

The worst place i have ever worked i have been a master stylist for years. The management all the way to the top the owners who are not local and never come to henderson are rude and have no clue about running a business if it wasn't in walmart they wouldn't have a chance they way they treat people

Today I went to the smart styles in grenada ms and I can say the stylist was awesome. She took time and didn't rush through my sons nor my haircuts. In past experience this location has come a long way from the past employee. Thank you Angela we will be repeat customers.

I went to smart styles in sherwood, arkansas at walmart and Emmy done such a wonderful job with my hair. Even though I have fine hair she still knew how to make the style I wanted look amazing and it still does to this day. You want a great environment and friendly people go see Emmy.

Do not go to this salon by any means, even if you are desperate, biggest regret i have, my hair is damaged beyond repair... Went in for a trim to have some dead ends cut off as i had some heat damage from using the straightener, told her to make it look neat and easy to manage i also told her not to use any kind of razor on my hair as i didn't need it to look any worse then it already did., she went against my wishes reassured me she'd been cutting hair for 22+ years... By the time she was done my hair looked like it got stuck in a paper shredder, mid neck length after taking over 3 inches off when it was below shoulder length, do not make the mistake i made... Go to a different salon

Ashley is professional, personable, and knowledgeable in her work. She helps be figure out what I want. Recently she was so helpful with my granddaughter fixing her hair color.
