I took my 14 year old daughter to SmartStyle for a new look. Rita at the Belton SmartStyle was amazing! She gave my daughter tips and tricks to help keep her hair healthy. Rita gave my daughter a new, easy to manage style that was perfect for her--exactly what we were looking for. My daughter was beaming with confidence when we left and I owe it all to Rita. It was clear Rita wasn't just working for a customer, but truly seeking to personalize this experience and give the very best for my daughter. I would definitely recommend this salon and Rita needs a raise:-)
My hair was blond from highlights after highlights I decided to go with a all over color with a brown mocha color. The stylist said it was $60 an ounce and had used 3 oz but was having trouble trying to figure out why my hair was turning orange and getting lighter. She said she was using a 30 developer with the color. And couldn't understand why it was getting lighter instead of darker. But now my head is like orange. She kept teasing my hair with the lightener and color on my head. And after three attempts my hair is fried.
I would recommend Smartstyle in Clinton Ms to do hair. I went for a simple haircut. I brought a picture to show what I wanted. Hairdresser guaranteed me she could do the haircut. My hair was a mess. Haircut was uneven. Now I will have to cut my hair short so it will be even
At the Hillard location my hair stylist Jala is amazing at what she does. At first, while looking for a stylist before I met her she gained my attention for repeat scheduling services way back, cause of a magical word I hadn't heard in a while, and that was "THICK" describing my hair texture which made me search no longer for a hair stylist She was letting me know I was doing a decent hair care on my own, but I didn't want to mess it up and needed a professional to help keep my hair looking healthy. Her boss Beth is so kind and I notice the styles she gives other clients and makes them look great also.

Been twice before, thought ok. Third time, told (and showed) how long wanted. Shoulder length. Turned me around so couldn't see. DRY cut SHORT and then said it'll grow back when I said too short. Asked for gray coverage. Ended up with MORE gray at temples! I complained to 'supervisor' who gave me refund BUT doesn't help bc can't glue back my hair and it is SO short, can't do anything with it. I complained to corporate. They did not even bother to contact me so tells me they have MAJOR issues. STAY AWAY if you like your hair!
I have being seeing the same stylist for years! On several occasions I was told by another stylist (who I later learned was the regional boss) that my stylist no longer worked in the salon. I would stop into the salon when shopping at Walmart or call when I needed an appt. However, after each of these times I learned that this was a lie. My stylist did in fact still work there. And I find out that I'm not the only customer she said this to! It's frustrating to see people attempt to sabotage hard working employees and makes it difficult for customers to trust the service of the salon. I posted my concerns on SnartStyle's website and guess who contacted me? Not the district manager! You guessed it! The person I made the complaint about. She called my phone that very afternoon. And then my stylist was FIRED! SmartStyle needs to get their act together. My stylist is the ONLY one who will ever cut my hair. Wherever she goes, I will follow. And I'm not the only one!
I have been getting my hair cut from Art at Smart Styles inside of Walmart at Hamlin. Art does a fantastic job of cutting my hair to compliment me overall look at a reasonable price and I will be getting my hair cut by him wherever he keeps his comb and clippers until he retires.

I wear my hair natural and have had the hardest time finding someone to take care of it the way I like it. After my 1st appointment with Sugar I knew she was my stylist. She gave me the best silk press I've had. It was so straight and felt so soft at the same time. She not only straightened it, she treated it. I leave her with curls poppin' and hair bouncin'.

I made an online appointment with Smartstyle and received a confirmation email. I arrived and was told I didn't have an appointment and did I want to come back another day. No apology. No offer to try to squeeze me in. No coupon for the inconvenience. Just rude dismissiveness.
I went in on the 3rd of September to get my hair colored and my kiddos hair trimmed. They are great when it comes to trims and cuts. I wanted my hair to stand out in color like the picture I showed them. Yet I get told that using blond would turn my hair pink and then was showed the closet colors they can use to match what I wanted. I paid $183.00 and you can only tell the dark was added to my hair not the blond nor red show up in my hair unless I'm in direct sunlight. That is a lot of money to spend and not get what you wanted done let alone sitting there for 2hrs. I wanted the bright popping color in the screenshot picture and the dark colored hair job is what I got for $183.00 2hrs of sitting.
This review goes for the Smartstyle in D'Iberville Ms. I was told when I came back the service would be discounted to $55.00, but when I went back for the service. Not only did the manager not honor the discounted price they raised the price from a regular $76.00 to $94.00. This is ridiculous.
My daughter went in for highlights and a hair cut. April did an amazing job and talked her through everything. Atmosphere was good.
The manager Beth is not professional at all and is very rude
I called and ask to make an appointment with Rita (she's done my hair for years)
And she got smart with me and said Rita is no longer there and hung up on me

Worse experience I have ever had yelling at me saying I lied about highlighting in my hair it's been almost 16 months when I last had them went to get a perm mangers held my head in the sink ask she yelled at me because the front didn't take because she was on the phone while working on me got there 9:30 or 10:00 am did not get done with until 1:30 pm plus she was gossiping about a girlfriend came back there from Manchester Tn because girls were being mean to the girl might add this was manger's that did this marks on my neck plus witnesses to pictures wait for someone to get back with I did call the police but since these ladies were manger's I had to pay for a nightmare I do think I will go to the news or the papers who will listen. Horrible I would never ever advise someone to go there… sad I've been going there since I lived in Indiana plus told me I wasn't aloud there anymore. I sure I can say anything on here and not one person from this company will call me.
J c used to cut my hair before covid always a great job always what i wanted. When they were forced to close during covid had to look for someone else. After 3 years and 3 diferant hair stylest I could not seem to to get anyone to cut my hair the way it used to be. So decided to go back to J C best move ever she gave me the greastest hair cut the way I wanted. Thank you J C.

Went to Smartstyle at Hazle Township, PA on 05/25/21 at 6:30pm for a haircut. Website states they are open till 8pm. I stood there and the 2 hair stylists just stared at me, didn't greet me, nor asked me what I needed, continued with their customer, then a hair stylist finally came to me and asked me what I needed at 6:55pm just to tell me they are closing in 5 minutes. They saw me stood there for 25 minutes and did not even apologize for the wait. I went to their website to write a feedback but did not hear from anyone, no one wrote back to apologize. I went to great clips the next day as soon as I walked in both hair stylists greeted me and I got a nice haircut, their hair stylist provided good customer service, has good manners and very professional the opposite of Smartstyle (not smart at all). They should fix their websites hours of operation, should respond to customer feedback and most importantly should be professional and should provide good customer service.
