So I called smart styles today the one inside the cartersville Walmart… Kate answers the phone and right away I could tell she had an attitude so I ask her hey do you have anyone that can do retwist and before I could say when I need it done she cuts me off and says very rudely not today I don't so I'm like who said anything about today and had you let me finish you would have known I wanted an appointment for next week! I absolutely don't like Kate she has always had an nasty attitude and can't do no hair at that I stop going to smart styles because of her but was pulled back in because of a stylist named Tanisha but I will never ever spend another dollar in this place as long as Kate works there with that nasty behind attitude then she smells like smoke most of the time

Vickie has done my hair for a several yrs she can roll a perm faster than any beautician l have ever had. Believe me l have had many for many yrs. She is the friendliest most efficient hair stylist bar NONE. U tell her want u want and how u want and it is done to the tee. She runs a tight ship BUT her staff and herself r the greatest. They r all friendly professional and she ESPEDCIALLY cares and is concerned for all her clients! Could not ask for a better stylist in the world. I LUV HER DEARLY! TOP OF THE NOTCH SHE IS! My girlfriend went to Smart style salon which is located in Walmart but is NOT owned by Walmart. I think Walmart is a great place to shop in! Smart style is NOT! It is owned by Regis Salons. She went to the Smart style in Englewood Florida. Amy is the manager there. Amy said she was the youngest person ever to make management she is 23 years old. Of course my girlfriend had a sinking feeling that this might not end well! Amy never checked the foils so when the egg beater timed went off she yelled ok your done! My girlfriend's highlights turned BLUE! With orange in the middle and platinum ends! Long story short. My girlfriend's hair was so damaged she couldn't get a comb through it. She had to use so much extra virgin olive oil just to be able to comb her hair! She lost handfuls of her hair! She lost half the head of her hair and this was in August of 2021 and she is still dealing with the damage! I just want to warn people to please NOT go to any Smart style salon I don't want anyone to EVER go through what my girlfriend went through!

So excited to get a Redken product 06 that has been discontinued. Was able to purchase 2 bottles & get my mousse all with a discount. Great salon!

I had my hair colored by the mother and daughter team that operate this salon on1/12/21 I left I tears my color was horrible my hair was so dry I left with a affro I was in tears I was treated awful no professionalism this needs to be addressed I paid $105 I wouldn't go back if it was free I wasn't given a receipt

I went into your SmartStyle location in Walmart on 19th St. In Moore Oklahoma on Sunday, July 4 to get my hair done. I normally have my hair done by Aston, but she wasn't there so I went with another lady and I took my own product with me because that's what Aston showed me to use on my hair. This other lady would not put it in the way I wanted it to how I was showed. And then she proceeded to do my hair determined to put her own product in it and when it was all said and done she charge me $35. I normally pay $25 +5 dollar tip. To pay $ 35.00 + tip to have your hair washed and fixed is Absurd! Well I called on July 5 and spoke with Jack apparently the manager and he got very loud with me. I know a flat iron apparently cost 10 extra dollars which is ridiculous, but she did not use a flat Iron on my hair all he could say was how do you want me to fix this, tell me how to fix us, what do you want me to do to fix this, well by God do your job. I was fed up with his loud voice at me so now I'm here making my complaint. Hope I am saying her name right Aston she is an awesome hairdresser. She knows her product, she knows what she's doing and she listens to the customer and does what the customer wants. She's amazing! When someone finds a good hairstylist which is more than probably 1 million they want to stay with them, but the way I was treated by Jack I don't know if I want that or not. This is the worse place to go to The Biggest Rip Off
$38.00 for a dry trim when I book I was told 24$ Manager insist on charging for less than 10 minutes trim VERY SAD I am a senior.

My husband recently passed and a friend came from California to comfort me. We made appointments at SmartStyle in Shelton in the Walmart. We wanted a cut, color w/highlights. We arrived half hour early and were asked to leave as there was no place to sit. When we returned we were told that our appointments were for a cut and one color. They were insistant that there was not enough time reserved for us to have our hair highlighted. My friend got her hair cut and I got a trim and I asked that the one color be put on just the ends of my hair. So the tips were darkened. When we left my friend gave me the receipt and my bill was $225. We were charged for the most expensive hair color you could get. When I first looked at different hair coloring I wanted a balayage which is what it is called. A balayage in a painted in custom coloring which is never done with foil. But, I would never ask my friend to spend that much money on me so I went for hightlights. I called them back and asked them to finish the balayage since that's what I paid for and they told me I got what I asked for. So far they have not called me back. We were ripped off.

We had a lady name Emmy she worked fast and did a great job on my sons hair I can't find to many pple that can cut my sons hair like she did

My experience there was amazing and mrs. Jackie did my hair amazing and I'm at so happy the way it turned out thank you so much I'm in love with it

And full price.and they don't reply for me to get haircut fixed. Now I have to spend more money to get it fixed elsewhere
