Terrible experience with perms. I've had them for 50+ years! Had one in December of 2022. Fallen before I got home. Pin straight. Ok, could have been a bad perm itself. It was their last one. Checked in when there and called and no perms. Finally got one from another store I believe. But, got another perm 3 weeks later. Still 90% straight and will NOT hold a curl. With tip, paid $77 to have no perm. Also what do I do now? Where do I go? Can I have another perm? Very disappointed.

Had perm down payment of 143.00 had to pay upfront,she only left perm in 20 minutes and didn't cut hair set under dryer for 20 minutes didn't cut! Had to go back lady cut off a lot of hair and I asked her to style she said No for what I paid for it was very wrong for them not to give some type of discount!

She was a delight when i called to see if i could get in later 2dy.
She was bubbly and made me feel right at home.
My hair looks fabulous and my eyebrows too!

I had the rudest girl cut my hair today. Her Name was Katie in the E Sam Houston parkway N. She said she works in other locations too! She spoke to me with no respect and kept rolling her eyes at me since I sat down. And threw my hair in my face when I said I could please get someone else. Besides her rolling her eyes she got mad at me for moving my head a little. Another girl had to finish cutting my hair. Horrible experience. I've never felt so disrespected.

This is a plain chop shop salon I cut hair personally, and when my brother in law had to come to me to fix my nephews hair that is unacceptable and for you to let him leave like that and say omg it looks so good! No ur out of your mind personally that salon should not be open! And second of all you charged him for a terrible haircut 10 out of 10 NEVER GET YOUR HAIRCUT HERE unless you like jacked up haircuts. I went in for just a haircut no shampoo. The stylist asked me 2-3 times if I wanted a shampoo and haircut I said no thank you. I didn't get a shampoo but when I got my credit card bill I saw that I was billed for a shampoo & haircut. I wrote to Smartstyle twice and I've been completely ignored. Not even a note to say sorry we ripped you off so check those receipts.

Loud salsa music, can't hear or talk, manager said we're just having fun. This manager and latin hairdresser are very direspectful. I don't think what my hairdresser thought. Embarassed!

I dropped in to Smartstyle today on a whim for a haircut at Walmart Clinton highway and found a lovely stylist named Leah who listened to what I wanted and sent me out smiling. I highly recommend her!

I went to smart styles in sherwood, arkansas at walmart and Emmy done such a wonderful job with my hair. Even though I have fine hair she still knew how to make the style I wanted look amazing and it still does to this day. You want a great environment and friendly people go see Emmy.

Ashley is professional, personable, and knowledgeable in her work. She helps be figure out what I want. Recently she was so helpful with my granddaughter fixing her hair color.

I just moved here back in November and I needed a haircut badly. So I came to smart style here on central. I first used Mike but he could do eyebrows even tho he give great haircuts I switched to Lori Thomas she always fits me in right away. I've been very sick for several years now Lori takes time to listen to what I'm going through with my health and not only does she cut my hair great I've noticed she listens to all her clients and she treats us like family. So if you need a good haircut ask for her she will hook you up. She also does eyebrows and to me that's a plus. Again if you need a great hairdresser go to Walmart smart style on central ask for Lori tell her Jax sent you. You can't go wrong with her or any of the ladies that works there.

I have been coming to see Beatrice at the Walmart on Serene & Eastern in Henderson, NV for 3 years now and I absolutely love her! I moved to CA in 2019 and I literally drive to Vegas every 4-6 weeks to get my hair done by Beatrice and only Beatrice! She is excellent with my elderly mom and excellent with my highlights. I trust her work and I always leave a happy camper. I have referred many friends and family members to her who continue to see her regularly as well.

This was my first experience at SmartStyle. I had heard good things about Devin's skills and booked. I have tried several local stylists but I can never get my hair to do much of anything after I vet home. I like low maintenance but my hair is thick and it grows really fast. It never parts where I want it to. Devin listened to all my concerns. He told me about several options and explained everything to me. He thinned my hair to get a lot of the weight off and then showed me ways to add body. He showed me how to get the look I want with very little required effort. It was a great experience! I will be back!

I am very satisfied with
Threase and the manner in which she manage the salon. I am very observant of how she handle other customers. I have been impressed with her professionalism and consideration in varied situation.

Brandi Duffy does an excellent on haircuts and superb job on color. I had a partial highlight and cut. I love it and have so many complements on my new look. Thank you

Getting my little girls hair cut for school I found these supposed stylist to be rude very poor with kids the worst hair cutter I've ever seen or could imagine. And I say hair cutter because I do not want to give her the credit of a stylist she deserves many other words I will be nice and use hair cutter. It took her over 45 minutes to perform a simple bang trim, when she asked me if I liked it I found my daughter's hair to be uneven choppy just hands down the worst haircut ever. Even my daughter who loves everything did not enjoy anything about her haircut or anything about the experience she had gone through. When I tried to indiscreetly find her name or license I noticed there was not one posted just wanting for this to be over I told myself I will go to a real stylist and moved on. This is the first review I've ever written I wish there was something else that could be done about this. So please do not go to Smart Style at least not at Spanaway Walmart

Lorri Thomas, is great, we always go with her when we are in town, she is the only one my husband lets cut him hair…
We are very satisfied with her work and has a great attitude and always happy to see us. We will keep going to her, I always recommend my friends to her. Smart style has a keeper.
