Fried my hair off half my head now need to wear a wig

BROKE AND FRIED MY HAIR " now will need a wig" I went to smart style twice in the month of June 2021 to see the same stylist named Sarah who has been coloring my hair for almost a year now so she knew my hair history. The first time I went in June Sarah messed up on my color as it didn't match my previous grow out color I have pictures of this. So she told me to come back on June 26th so she could re bleach it again. During the second visit she ended up messing up on the process by overlapping bleach on top of my previously double bleached grow out which is negligent because in no way is this supposed to happen because it will cause the hair to totally break where you overlapped the product which is exactly what happen. During the process I told her my hair was looking like it was breaking but instead of washing it off she continued to let it sit on my hair causing half my hair on one side to go from 24inch to 4 inches I have pictures of this as well. Their is breakage all over my head but my right side is the worst And the hair on my head that's left is completely fried past the point of no return. So I ended up going to two different hair stylist at different salons for a consultation on my hair to see if hair extensions could be applied and damage be corrected. Both stylist told me my hair was to weak and would break off even more if they put any kind of hair extensions on me and also told me my hair could never be colored or use heat on it without causing it to completely break off even more hair they also said I would have to completely grow my hair out starting from my scalp because she bleached to my scalp and mite be ear to cut it all over and start over. I shouldn't have to walk around with half my hair missing broken fried and thinning or almost bald if I cut off all the damage due to their negligence. They did admit to their negligence once they saw my hair and refunded my 261$ for the services they charged me when they ruined my hair. But since I now need a wig I'm requesting they pay for wig I'm going to have to wear for 3-4 year before my hair gets back to the way it was before they burnt it and broke half my hair off. I'm requesting nothing more then a wig in the same color length and density my hair would of been before they destroyed my hair. I have emailed the business with the invoice to the wig of that description which is around 1400$ before taxs for the damages incurred by their salon. I received a email back from senior district leader saying the owner of the salon and Business name smart style is list under of KARVID PARTNERS LLC wouldn't cover the wig at all. They instead tried to offer me once a month deep conditioning treatment for 6 months which isn't going to bring my hair back it's fried beyond repair plus I already tried deep condition treatments already and they Haven't helped at all. And a treatment wont fix or replace the integrity length and density they took from me when my hair got destroyed broken and fried off by the salon. I will update this review if they end up doing the right thing and cover the cost of the wig to Cover and fix what they did to my hair. If by chance I have to take them to small claims court I will also update the review if that happens and the outcome hope this review helps you decide if you want to use this salons services.

They used bleach on my hair then when I told them about the damaged I ended up buying it’s 10 repair deep conditions mask and keratin spray and redken extreme bleach recovery shampoo as well as surface hair health art shampoo and conditioner and design line leave in conditioner and argan oil and Morocco oil this was purchased from their advice after they ruined my hair and made me look like I’m balding so hundreds of dollars on products I spent that did nothing to help my hair it’s past the point of no return going to need to cut it off and start all over and wear a wig for a couple years to get my hair back to the length integrity and density it was before they did this to my hair through their negligence

Bunch of Thieves... please stay away!

Recently I had visited this salon at 15 Resolution Drive in Brampton, ON, to get my hair coloured. The service is very bad and I was treated as a piece of dirt. The attitude of the staffs is extremely rude and the manager of the store is so indifferent. To top it they charged me $69 for only colouring my hair partially saying since the rest of the hair had stains of henna, it could not be coloured as according to the girl who attended me said "then my hair would burn". I did not exactly understand what she meant. Then once she asked me to come over to wash the colour off my hair, I asked her if it's ok to leave my handbag on the adjacent counter to which she said it's ok to leave it there. As there was a barrier(sort of a partial screen) between the washing area and the seating area where they actually do the colouring and stuff, I could not see what was going on, at the other side. I left it there as there was no other customer at that point in the salon excepting one other staff and the manager herself. Then once I was done and went to pay the cash, when I opened my handbag, lo and behold, my entire cash was GONE! After making the payment with my card, I came out. Then I and my husband called the security guard and explained the whole thing to them. They asked me to show where I was sitting in the salon and where I had left my handbag. While leaving the store the manager of the store asks me "is everything ok?" though she knew I had lost my money in the salon. She neither tried to help me find the cash previously and had kept chatting and giggling with the staff who had attended me. So impolite and indifferent she was! Then after we left the store, after a while, this manager calls me over the phone saying she just found the money in her store! So once the guards arrived, I told them what she said and we went once again to the salon. Upon arriving I learned that the money had somehow magically found a place between two poles (may be it jumped out of handbag to do this)?! The manager told me "see it was here, I found it between these two poles, it must have fallen from your hand here". Some wonders happening in the store may be, I thought, as when there was no cash left in my handbag, it found its place between the poles!. So I collected my cash and came out. The guards told there are apparently no customer visiting this store. It seems and I learned very rarely people are seen visiting this store and they also told me one more thing that the cash disappearing from my handbag was the inside thing, meaning one of the salon people themselves had robbed my cash. This said, after a while of having left the store, the manager probably panicked that I might take this to the next level. Only then, she phoned me twice to apologize. The amount they stole was almost $100. All this wasted my precious amount of time (4 hours in total)! This they did having been told in the beginning itself that I had to leave for a studio to get some family pics taken which I did eventually, reaching the studio just in time before it was about to close. Nevertheless, I shall never again visit any Smart style salon in future.

Tip for consumers:

These people not only simply loot you, but they also rob you of your things and also keep belittling you. Exhorbitant price for their filthy behaviour leave alone the tension they give you to top it. Extremely dishonest and Greedy people. Please STAY AWAY from this store at all cost.
