At first when I went to the airline website (to order vegetarian meal) I could not find a record and it would not accept my ticket number SmartFares gave me. It was missing the first 3 digitt identifying the airline. When that was added, Airline found the reservation and all is good.

A simple email with your website letterhead would have sufficed to make me feel calm.
Send your customers a frigging company email with the information about their flight whether it is confirmed or not and once they "secure" the reservation as they assured me over and over again on the phone, SEND A FRICKING EMAIL TO CONFIRM AND KEEP THE PASSENGER AT EASE!

All the information was showing that I'm booking in my location not knowing that this is American website, after the payment shows I'm paying in my local currency and on of a sudden the payment add multiple charges and when I called the local number provided they said is a site from US. Ticket was R19,040 and I was charged R*******?

Unfortunately, after I completed the ticket order (Link via Booking website), and received an order number, I received a message that the order was not completed and that the company should be contacted.
After contacting them, they said that the prices had definitely increased and that they would have to pay an additional fee.
Due to lack of experience and a desire to finish the process, we finally agreed (note that the agent, after talking to a manager, slightly reduced the additional fee). At the end, they said that within 3 hours we would receive the order and flight tickets... This was on 22.11.224 and until today, 26.11.14, we are waiting for the order confirmation and contact them almost every day to find out what is happening and they said that it is still in the process.
Very unfortunate and regrettable.

Answer: Yes. They stated because of flight increase they canceled my flights. Then they wanted me to pay a balance of what the new increase was. So disappointing. I paid for four fares. They took the funds from the bank n then canceled my flights.
