Booked a flight based on quoted figure in SA Rands only to be charged in US Dollars which with exchange rates resulted in an additional cost of R1500. The advisory that this would happen was not clear prior to payment and was only apparent after payment was made. The dollar price should have been apparent before I made payment. I visited a South African website and was under the impression I was paying in rands. The confirmation received initially did not indicate that checked baggage was included - nor the seat allocation for which there was an additional charge. I still dont know whether an aisle seat requested has been allocated.
