I was getting nervous about how long it took me to get my ticket information and confirmation email but I went to the chat and they sent me everything almost right away. What a relief! Will definitely look to book future fares with SmartFares.
It was an easy process determining which flight option was best for my travel date and time. The booking process was seamless and I received a confirmation email within seconds! My only drawback of the process was going through all the add one, which I know is required but takes too much time.
After making my reservation, I was called by a smart fare's representative to advise me that my reservation wasn't confirmed and try to convince me to pay more money extra from what was on the website. That wasn't true!

I purchased the plane ticket for my grandma funeral on Mon 11/21 to travel on thanksgiving and returned on Wednesday 11/30. Price for the itinerary was 4139.66 for 2 tickets. My CC flagged it as fraudulent, 3 hrs later I called the bank and verified the purchase and call smartfare to run the CC through again, talk to 4 different representatives that told me the CC will be charged but never went through. On the 5th call the representative finally getting charged through however we lost the returned flight. I was told to pay another 440 more to rebook the flight. I have no choice but to pay extra money because we need to make the emergency trip for the funeral in Thailand. All the customer service representatives that I talked to are not showing compassion and not doing what they can to help us with bereavement fare. Very disappointing first and last time customer.

Bought two tickets to travel to Brazil, had to cancel due to to personal reasons. Called Smart fares and they told me I could get a refund on one of the tickets, plus a "credit" on the second ticket. They charged me an extra fee for the changes. Have been more than 3 months and I never got the refund, but sure I did got the "extra fee charge" on my card. WORST COMPANY EVER. Called 5x times, they all hang up on me as soon I explain my situation, sent emails and no response, next step is to sue this company for not honoring their deals.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
