I see some of the negative comments and while something may have happened to make them write negative reviews, I have been extremely happy. As in many companies, there are good and bad employees. I was't sure if anybody really gave people great business air deals, so tried it to see if it was true. I have booked 2 trips with Festus. The tour company business air ran about $5500, I got it for about $3400. What impressed me the most was the service after we booked. The first trip one of the companies went out of business and I figured we would out of luck. Well, I called Festus and I thought he would tell me it couldn't be changed, it was non-refundable. I was surprised that wasn't his response. He promptly changed it, no fee. The 2nd time I messed up on the dates - you know a trip where you are flying on flights at 12:30 AM, 11:10 PM, that kind of booking and I didn't realize it until the next day. I called Festus and he quickly put us on the exact same flights for one day earlier. So, if you were unhappy, try Festus. He goes out of his way to find you a great deal. I priced the flights we were looking at (Phoenix to Chennai, India and back from Mumbai to Phoenix) and the lowest fare I could find was almost $2000 more than what we booked with Festus. VERY HAPPY!

First time using Skylux and a pleasant experience thus far. My only issue is that I also purchased flight protection which included 24-hr flexibility for changes or cancellation. A few hours later I requested to change the return flight to one day later. I thought that's simple enough and within the 24-hr window so everything should be fine and I told the agent only change the flight if the price is the same. So they used the flight protection and were able to work it out with the airline to exchange the ticket at no extra cost. However since it's now technically a new ticket, I have to pay for the protection again if I want it. So I was annoyed by that, and I wouldn't have changed it if I knew that the protection wouldn't be transferred. He explained to me the protection was the way they were able to exchange the ticket at no extra cost just as I requested, but I didn't clarify that I also meant like no extra cost for protection either. So I write it off as a miscommunication. Otherwise very happy.

I am very disappointed in my dealings with SkyLux Travel. Last year I had booked flights through SkyLux Travel for a South American trip for this past December. Due to the Covid pandemic, our trip was cancelled in October. I then consulted with SkyLux about our airline tickets. SkyLux advised that if I paid them (SkyLux Travel) $700 more, then they would cancel the tickets, provide us with an airline credit and that the credit/tickets would be valid up to December 31,2022. All of this was documented in an email from a SkyLux representative. I recently tried to use the credit for a trip in May 2022 and was advised by SkyLux that in spite of the commitment in the SkyLux email that the credit/tickets were valid through December 31,2022, now I was being told that it is the airlines' responsibility to extend the tickets/credit duration and that Skylux has no role or responsibility. I used SkyLux from the beginning for this ticket purchase. I followed their advice and I paid an additional $700 for that option but now I am out a significant amount of money due to their fraudulent behavior. This is certainly an unethical business practice and should be illegal.
